Erica Ridley is one of my favourite authors. I love her wit and the way she describes the Regency world. The characters are strong and well defined.
I love the 12 Dukes of Chistmas series and I higly recommend it. I wish you enjoy them as much as I do

This was such a cute addition to this series. I loved the premise - chaperone trying to secure a good marriage for a cousin has a tendre for the duke instead. I really enjoyed all the silliness she got up to, all the fun that was had, and the sweet ending. Definitely a fantastic one to pick up at Christmastime.

I love Erica Ridley's fun historical romances. This book is such a delight. Opposites totally attract when a by-the-book duke and free spirited heroine meet. Love the banter and hilarious situations. Enjoyed it a lot and finished it in one day.

Alexander and Cynthia's story is a good one. The final story in The Twelve Dukes Of Christmas series it is amazing.
With unforgettable characters and a good storyline it is Erica Ridley at her best.
It is a quick read.
I received a free ARC of this book.

The Duke finally met his match! I love these stories because they are the perfect length. Short and sweet, each one is intriguing. I loved Cynthia Louise and her zest for life. She broke the rules that would confine her and found joy in her life. Her fun loving shenanigans made her an unsuitable candidate for a stuck up Duke but the perfect bride for Alexander. Alexander changed during a short time because he noticed a wallflower and fell in love with her.

It's been a delight reading this series. Cressmouth, the picturesque Christmas village has made quite an impression. Forever your Duke, being the last is witty and entertaining.
Alexander, the Duke of Nottingvale has been primed to put duty above all else to continue family tradition. His heirs will be raised the same. The best way to find his perfect duchess would be during the Christmas festivities where debutantes will flock for a chance to become a duchess. There is no room for love as long as the duchal requirements are fulfilled.
Cynthia has long ago given up on impressing the ton. Her reason for attending the festivities is to matchmake her niece to avoid a terrible fate dictated by her father.
Although they have crossed path on numerous occasions, Alexander and Cynthia never really became acquainted. They are from different worlds. He abides by society rules. She defies them. This time round, he notices her and finds himself fascinated by her antics. He starts acting out of character to spend time with her. A relationship with her will sully his title. When it comes to the crunch, will he listen to his heart?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the last of the Dukes of Christmas. It has a nice flow and the characters are delightful. With the exception of a few. It's a shame that it has to end, but I am sure that Ms Ridley will continue to regale us with her fascinating tales. Great series and a worthy end to the series.
I received an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

There’s a straight laced Duke who follows all the rules-The Duke of Nottingville. There’s a lady who gave up on all the rules after years of trying to follow them - Cynthia Louise. The Duke must choose a bride. Cynthia must find her niece a husband. Watching the Duke and Cynthia come together in this story is wonderful. She teaches him you don’t have to be perfect. He teaches her a little rules wouldn’t be so bad. Great story.
