Grab all the ho ho ho’s you’ve got for this delightful novella from Sarah Robinson. Such a sweet, sweet story!! Dash and Chrissy, along with her son Rudy take you for such a heartwarming Christmas tale. Robinson does a nice job telling a story of two opposites connecting in a mall. If you love a holiday theme, add this to your tbr.

Short and sweet and with the spirit of Christmas joy, this novella was a delight to read. A guy who is roped by his mother to work as the mall Santa, he meets a little boy who instead of wishing something for him, he wishes for his mother. When Dash (mall Santa) meets the mother (Chrissy) he falls for her but the little boy thinks he’s Santa, not a regular guy. Chrissy has sworn off men, and is also too busy with work, school and motherhood to date. But Dash is too tempting to resist!

The meet cute is entertaining, but what happens next is hilarious as the couple try to keep little Rudy from finding out about Santa.

The story is short, sweet and entertaining; the characters were endearing, great read!

A cute and fun addition to the At the Mall series, this is the perfect story to get you in the holiday spirit or just a general pick me up anytime of the year. Chrissy is a single mom to her 7 year old son, and she needs stability in her life so a temporary relationship is out of the question. Especially one with a man in a red suit who gets paid to pretty much lie to kids. But as she gets to know Dash more, she sees there is so much more to him than his red suit and fake white beard. This short and sweet Christmas story is sure to lift your spirits and put a smile on your face and you will end the story with a warm feeling in your heart, no matter what time of year it is. A sweet and adorable story you don't want to miss!

🎅Cute holiday story with a flaw🤔

This is an upbeat holiday short bringing some love and joy to an overworked, cash-strapped single mother and her cute seven year old son Rudy. The opening was whimsical as male lead Dash jumps into the mall's holiday operations as an emergency replacement Santa. His friendship with first young Rudy and then Rudy's mother Chrissy develops with lightning speed.

Poor Dash wants to keep Rudy happy and trusting of Santa so he goes through some seriously frantic quick changes to get close to Rudy as both Santa and his real identity. This succeeds for a while but there is a scene where this routine breaks down and Dash appears before Rudy straight from his Santa job, no chance to change out of his costume, and Rudy calls him Dash, not Santa, with no hint that he's guessed the two are one and the same?! I fear this was unintended.

I knew this would be brief but the story seemed a bit too quick to develop and resolve. Pleasant with a happy end but not very memorable.

Thank you to @netgalley and the author for this free eARC in exchange for my honest review.
Yes I know it's almost May and we have some time till Christmas but hey... I needed a brake from my usual gut wrenching reads so I gave this one a go.
This is the first novella in a series called the Mall.
A fast read, a lovely rom com that just warms your heart.
A young hot looking Santa and a single, hard-working mom meet at the Mall... The rest - well you'll have to find out for yourself - no spoilers here!!!
A solid 4 stars from me!!!

A really cute read, a bit cheesy but to be honest I didn’t mind and quite like a bit o cheese at times. Lovely characters, sweet story, overall a nice seasonal romance

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

This was a Christmas novella - which is even more unbelievable than a Christmas book. Dash and Chrissy had to meet and fall in love in seven chapters and an epilogue. While they did meet and fall in love, it was completely unrealistic. I think it could have been a cute full length novel, but there wasn’t enough in this novella to make me recommend it.

Dash Winters is the newest mall Santa at the Yule Heights shopping mall. On his first day, he runs into a little boy named Rudy who asks Santa for a present not for himself, but his mother. He asks Santa to teach his mom how to drive so she can finally get a car and they can stop taking the bus. Rudy introduces his mom, a single mom names Chrissy Eve that works at the Pretzel Place in the mall, and so begins the start of something neither one of them was expecting. Has Santa met the future Mrs. Clause?
I was given a free copy of this novella in exchange for my honest review. This was a very quick and easy read. It was pretty cute! I kind of wish there were more to the story as it was pretty rushed, but it was a pretty enjoyable novella! I rate this book ⭐⭐⭐💫
Thank you Netgalley, Sarah Robinson, and Author Collective 20 for the opportunity to read this book.

MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS by Sarah Robinson is a contemporary, stand alone story line focusing on twenty- eight year old Dash Winters, and single mother Chrissy Eve.

Told from three third person perspectives (Dash, Chrissy and Rudy) MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS follows Dash Winters, and his part time gig as the local mall Santa. Doing a favour for his mother, Dash agrees to work as the holiday Santa but the first day on the job Dash meets seven year old Rudy Eve who asks Santa to teach his mother to drive. Trying to keep up appearances, Dash jumps between his Santa persona and that of a man trying to woo Rudy’s mother Chrissy, a woman who is sceptical about Dash’s intentions, and is quick to judge Dash based on initial appearance.

MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS is a quick read; a short holiday story where all of the names are Christmas related, and the relationship goes from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye. A cute story with little to no romance mostly focusing on Chrissy Eve’s inability to trust a man who has taken a job as a part time Santa. I was hoping for a little more romance and character development for our leading couple.

I loved the cover! It is what grabbed me. The story was just ok. It started off good and then the ending was rushed. Like, very rushed. A little unbelievable to be honest.

Chrissy’s son Rudy meets Santa (Dash) in a bathroom and so starts the cute and festive MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU. This is the perfect little novella to get you in the holiday mood and put a smile on your face. It took me a minute to pick up on what Ms. Robinson was doing with all the Christmassy names but once I caught on I thought it was super cute.

A sweet holiday story! Chrissy is a single mom with a seven year old son, Rudy. When Rudy asks the mall Santa, (Dash) to teach his mom to drive a sleigh, a friendship is formed between Dash and Chrissy. Will their friendship become more, or is it just temporary like Dash's job?

This was some cheerful holiday adorableness, It was super short and sweet to the point where I wished there was just a little more to it. Because it was so short there really wasn't time to get invested into the characters, though the author did manage to make them as fleshed out and likable as possible in the given time. If you're looking for a quick holiday pick me up with very little time commitment than this is the novella for you.

This book was just ok. It had a cute storyline and characters but it felt rushed. A longer novel would have been better than a novella. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this free ebook in exchange for an honest review.

ARC received for review

Meh. It was an okay story, light on the romance and love and sex, but a great epilogue.

A great read that I absolutely flew through super quick with it being just a short story.
A lovely little romantic Christmassy book, that I always get sucked into when I read them. Even the characters had Christmassy names which was fab!
My only disappointment is that because of it being such a short story, it kinda went from 0 to 100 so so quickly which felt a little rushed, so with this particular storyline I wanted it to keep going a little bit longer.
