I was looking for a quick and adorable Christmas read and that’s what I got in Mall I want for Christmas. I loved the dynamic between Dash, Chrissy and Rudy. Despite it being a novella it was a wonderful romance that had me rooting for all the main characters. Chrissy was such an amazing and resilient character. A single mother putting herself through community college and a full time job trying to make ends meet and take care of her son. Rudy was such a cute sweetheart. Such a mature and thoughtful child at 7 whose Christmas wish is not for himself but for his mom. Dash was so charming and handsome and trying to make his dreams a reality. All the characters are so loving and endearing and you can’t help but root for them. I loved the instant chemistry between Dash and Chrissy and how they connected with each other sharing their difficult pasts.

Loved the play on all the holiday names: Dash, Rudy, Winters, Eve, Chrissy. I flew through this book and it gave me all the Hallmark Christmas movie vibes. If you’re looking for a quick, fun, light and fast paced holiday romance then definitely pick Mall I want for Christmas this holiday season. My only wish was that it could have been a little longer but that’s just me being greedy to spend more time with Dash, Chrissy and Rudy.

Short & Sweet Christmas read! I loved the 3, well maybe 4 main characters depending how you look at it, and their interactions. Although it was a short read, I wasn't sure were the story would go so that was a bonus.

Great HEA holiday read to finish in a night.

Thanks to Netgalley and Author Collective 20 for an ARC to prepare this honest review.

Mall Santa for the win! Dash is quite the charmer, especially when he has to juggle between his Santa persona and himself around a seven year old boy. Chrissy is just trying to get by and make sure her son is taken care of, but Santa might just be what she's missing on her Christmas list! A charming and quick holiday read that will have you laughing and ready for Christmas.

I mean it’s a novella called “Mall I Want for Christmas Is You,” the female protagonist is named Chrissy Eve, and her son and love interest are named after reindeer so I knew what I was in for. It was really cheesy, they fell in love in a matter of weeks, everything ended wrapped up in a neat little bow (see what I did there?) but it was a cute little quick holiday read and I enjoyed it. Rudy (I mean, really?) was a cute kid and definitely the highlight of the story.

Thank you NetGalley, author and publisher for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely adorable sweet Christmas story.

This is the type of stories that put you in this sweet Christmas mood that we all love.
The dynamic between the characters were very believable and very well written, you just can't not fall in love with them.
The only minus it's that it's too short unfortunately.. we definitely needed more!!
And because it's short it make you feel that then end was forced on you. It left me with questions and unsatisfied with the epilogue because I needed to learn more about what happened with them in the year that past.

This story was so sweet and adorable! I loved the dynamic between Chrissy, Dash, and Chrissy's son Rudy! I really liked that despite the fact that it was just a short, Christmas novella it had a lovely romance that really had me rooting for the characters to be together. The story was full of some laugh out loud moments that were everything I was looking for in a quick, funny Christmas read. I just wish that the story had been a bit longer because it definitely left me wanting more.

Chrissy as a character was great to read about. She is such a resilient and admirable person who is always just doing her best to be the best mom she can possibly be. I love that she always puts Rudy's needs and wants first and he is the most important thing in her life. The meeting between Rudy and Santa Dash is a sweet exchange and seemed like an excellent way of connecting the two separate storylines. Dash for his part is a charming, handsome man who is still trying to figure out his life. This just seems so realistic because truth be told, many people don't have their lives together in their twenties. However, he is a great fit for Chrissy and Rudy. I loved how Chrissy and Dash were able to connect and relate to one another in terms of their difficult pasts and tense relationships with their parents.

This book really gave me great Hallmark movie vibes and I think could be easily adapted. It was a great way of getting me into the Christmas spirit and I highly recommend it if you've been looking for a cute holiday read to check out. I haven't read many other Christmas or Wintery books but this one definitely makes me try out some more! It was a great introduction to Sarah Robinson as an author and now I'm curious to check out more of her works.

Delightful and charming, this Christmas novella will surely melt your heart. It represents finding love in the most unexpected time and place, and we all know that Christmas is the perfect celebration for it. We have Chrissy, a strong and loving mother who will do everything and anything for her child. And he child who is equally as loving to his mom. And then there's Dash, who happens to be in the right place at the right time. It will all tied up together and will bring joy to your heart. It is a perfect read for the holidays.

This is the perfect wholesome Christmas Romance novella everyone's 2020 needs.
From the cheesy names (Chrissy Eve) to the seasonal jobs (awww a mall Santa), it has everything to warm even the coldest Grinch's heart.
I loved Chrissy and Dash's relationship development, the Santa jokes, and Rudy's overall adorableness. That kid is insanely awesome, I want to be his friend (in a non creepy way, I swear).
It dealed very well with Chrissy being a single mom and always putting Rudy first, and Dash's background was very interesting as well.
I enjoyed it very much, and even though it was so short it managed to make a good development for the characters, which is always appreciated.

Thank you so much to the author, Sarah Robinson, NetGalley and the publishing company for an ARC for my honest review.

Do you love chick lit? Romcom? A beautiful quick story that gives you all the great Christmas feels? If so, this is it.

I absolutely adored the love story between Dash and Chrissy. She truly had all of her walls up but he broke through them just like a gentle giant and got his Christmas present.

I always wish short stories could be a bit longer but all in all, this is an absolute winner.

A quick, cute, steamy Christmas novella with a hardworking single mom, a precocious 7-year-old, and a hunky Santa. Chrissy and Dash have great chemistry and their story was a fun and easy read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Have you ever fallen in love with Santa? Not the child wonder love but the kind of love that leads to your HEA? That’s what happens to single mom Chrissy as she learns to tear down her walls and allow sweet Dash to give her the gift of love for the holidays.

This is a super quick read that will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside as if you’ve just watched a Hallmark short. Rudy’s character is so adorable and sweet and will have you laughing with his childlike excitement. A perfect mini romcom that’s great for the holiday season.

This story was so freaking sweet. 2021 Hallmark - here's one for you! Chrissy is a single mom who is working a crappy food service job while raising her young son, Rudy, and going to school. She is an amazing person who is doing her best to make a good life for Rudy - so even though things aren't easy she keeps going. Rudy runs into Dash in the restroom while Dash is dressed in his Santa outfit for his gig as the mall Santa for the year. Rudy asks Dash-Santa to teach his mom to drive the sleigh. He's hoping if she learns to drive the sleigh she'd be able to drive a car and they wouldn't have to take the bus anymore. This sets Dash and Chrissy on a collision course for each other.

Dash is such a freaking sweetheart. Even his app idea is sweet and designed to help people - but will probably never make a lot of money. I adored him for Chrissy (and Rudy).

This story is novella length - but I totally would have read a full length story. In fact - Dash and Chrissy telling each other they loved one another kind of came too quickly. Even though it works - I was like - say what? They have only met three times and have only spent a short drive together alone. But - it's Christmas and that is when the magic happens.

I loved this Christmassy town and would love to read a few more stories - especially about Nell and maybe even about Holly.

A great sweet holiday read.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

When I Think About Christmas...I think about all sorts of things that must be there...Like Christmas music with all of those special songs, we know by heart...Or thinking of all of the special movies that we have loved since childhood...

Well, in Mall I Want for Christmas is You, Sarah Robinson has created a new sexy touchstone for the holidays. Picture loving single mom, smart and cute seven-year-old son, and make sure you have a hunky, savvy guy who is capable and settled but is doing a little something fun to pass some time away.

The cool guy takes on the Mall Santa position but with a twist...rock hard abs Santa. Young son makes a special Christmas wish and this brings Santa and Mom together. Ho Ho Ho. a Merry story for all.

A short and fun festive read.
Dash is playing santa in the mall as a favour to his foster mother. He meets Chrissy through her son, who wants his mum to learn to drive for Christmas. Will he be able to make their christmas wishes, and his own, come true?

Naughty or Nice?...

This holiday romance is a feel good novella. I love the names that the characters are given, very festive. Dash plays Santa at the mall. He is not your regular Santa. He is young, hot and has a six pack. Chrissy is a single mom and works at the same mall. Her son strikes up a friendship with Santa/Dash. When Chrissy and Dash meet, they instantly have chemistry.

You will love this delightful Christmas story. It is one you can snuggle up with under a blanket and a hot chocolate and enjoy.

When I say Sarah created a fun quick family wholesome Christmas story, I mean it. Dash was a trooper and Chrissy put him through the ringer without a bone at one point. I was wondering how he was going to pull it off. He did though, like a boss.

I loved most the ah ha moment of this book for Chrissy. I was excited and melted at the same time.

Now I need to go to the mall for me a Santa.

I was happy to get an ARC ebook and want to thank the author and publisher from NetGalley. Really cute story. I really wish it was an actual book length instead of a 1 hour read. I lived the main characters and I would love to have read more about their developing romance and their back stories. The kid in the story was really cute and he was not annoying at all. Looking forward to reading more from this author!
