I really really loved the first book in this series (Yes & I Love You), so I was very excited to get to the second book, and it surely didn’t disappoint!
Andi is such a badass character. What a strong character that was emotionally really well build by Loren. Hill was also a real great character. He was really charming.
Roni Loren is really great at tackling mental health issues. This can be seen in both the first book in this series and this second one. I think she’s one of the authors who does the best job at this.

Thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the Audiobook and to Sourcebooks Casablanca for the digital ARC in exchange for my honest reviews.

I alternated between the Digital Arc and Audiobook and I enjoyed doing that!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars
Steam: 🌶🌶🌶/5 (some very well written spicy scenes)

Narration: I really enjoyed the narrators voice! Kept me interested and was very good at distinguishing between different characters talking.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! I want to read more books by this author now!

This is a second book in a series but reads as a complete stand alone! (I haven’t read the first in but after this I will be!)

I am obsessed with true crime and true crime podcasts so the fact the MC had a true crime podcast I thought was so awesome!

I also Love horror movies (scream is one of my favourite movies of all time so I enjoyed the MC watching this) I loved the main female lead so much!!!

Disability rep! Main MC man has a prosthesis from an accident! We don’t get much rep like this is romance so I enjoyed that being included.

Grump/sunshine trope which I loved!
I love the chemistry and interactions between the two characters! Hill is so cute! Andi is such a badass! I love her!
Also so many great steamy scenes.

This book was so well written. It was funny so interesting and sexy! It was a romance read that included so many things I love. One of my favourite romance reads of all time! I highly recommend this!!!

Check trigger warnings prior to reading. Some I found include:
PTSD, loss of limb, accidents, serial killers, abusive relationships

I’d been looking forward to this book since reading the first in the series, and it didn’t disappoint. I really appreciated a lot of the angles this one covered, from Andi using true crime and horror as a way to tackle her past trauma head on to Hill just as a character in general. There’s some fun dynamics with the age difference between them, but it deals with heavier subjects too and also manages to be deliciously steamy at times. I’m guessing there’ll be another book in this series at least? And this is definitely up there for me with some of Loren’s best. The big dramatic scene at the end felt like it might have needed more buildup throughout the book, but my investment in the romance was what kept me reading pretty steadily even with those mild pacing issues.

content notes: disabled hero (wears prosthetic due to sustained injury), PTSD, anxiety/depression, assault against the heroine

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I LOVED LOVED this book!
5 Stars from me

This is the 2nd book in a series but you can read this as a standalone.
This book may contain some triggers for people
- PTSD
- Sexual Assault
- Disability

This book deals with some heavier topics including depression, anxiety trauma and violence but it does so with a positive focus on healing, consent, self-discovery and growth. Loren's writing deals with both disability and mental health both realistically and respectfully. The storyline was emotional and gives you all the feels .. and boy oh boy some super hot scenes!

If you love rom coms and thrillers this is a nice blend. It pays homage to the genre of thriller novels and horror flicks. There are so many movie references from that genre you would appreciate.

Andi Lockley is a horror novelist and hosts a true crime podcast. She crosses paths with her grumpy werewolf neighbor, Hill Dawson. He is a former firefighter suffering from PTSD and depression. They are both recovering from some pretty traumatic life events. But she has a rule due to her past, don’t trust anyone. And both are true cynics when it comes to “romance.” Can they form a friendship and learn to trust again?

My Review:⭐️⭐⭐⭐/ 5 stars

Love the cover art for this book! Andi Lockley is a horror writer and crime podcaster. She is always on alert with anxiety due to a horrific past with a terrible man when she was in her teens. Though she is seeking unofficial counseling with her friend Elissa, she knows its an ongoing battle with any future relationships - she has strict rules with no men sleeping over which usually puts a damper on any budding romance. Her neighbor, Hill Dawson is a former firefighter who has PTSD from a building fire that caused him to lose his leg. After someone mysteriously breaks into Andi’s apt, Hill quickly becomes her friend as he can’t help himself from playing the hero. Together they navigate what they are both comfortable with as they understand the other has suffered trauma.

I loved the little flirtation between Andi and Hill - and the love scenes were perfectly steamy. The dialogue sometimes got a bit cheesy, but that usually can’t be helped in a romance novel. Andi is a great protagonist, many of her “weaknesses' ' are things she ultimately tries to overcome and she herself saves herself in many ways. Highly recommend for romance lovers and it would make a great beach read.

Thank you to Source Books and Netgalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!

Double Review – ‘Yes & I Love You’ ‘What If You & Me’ both by Roni Loren.

I received a copy of ‘What If You & Me’ by Roni Loren via netgalley, the second in the Say Everything series and whilst these are standalone novels that can be read separately, I decided to read the first in the series before moving on to the ARC, because the more books the better right?!

You can swipe to see the synopsis for both books, the first follows Hollyn and Jasper, the second Andi and Hill.

I’ve read three of Loren’s books before and I’ve always appreciated that she writes a good, fun story but her characters are always dealing with real life issues and challenges and in writing this the reader can either identify with what that character is going through, or as I’ve found is often the case, learn something too.

In ‘Yes & I Love You’ Tourettes is a focus of the storyline, something I’d mainly considered to be about uncontrollable speech patterns and saying inappropriate things, however Loren shows a spectrum of what Tourettes is and how it can affect a person or impact their day to day lives, but also how they can manage it and work on it not interfering with their everyday lives. Improv comedy is also a big focus of the story, something I didn’t know much about, which was fun and interesting. I really enjoyed this one but didn’t click with the characters in the way that I have in other books.

‘What If You & Me’ focuses a lot on trauma in its different forms – Hill having survived an accident as a fireman who now has a prosthetist and Andi who is recovering from a traumatic relationship. I LOVED these two from the jump and if it weren’t for work, I’d have read this in one sitting! They were funny and flirty, and I continuously smiled during this one. I also learnt a lot about the horror genre, both books and movies. I’m a massive scaredy cat so I steer well clear, but it was fun to learn more about it and Andi had some really interesting insights. I also think that, if you are a woman reading this novel, you will find many of Andi’s fears, concerns, advice and thoughts to be issues that you have also thought about or considered in the past, things that men maybe don’t have to think about the same way we do.

Finally, both books deal with mental health, with characters dealing with anxiety and depression and actively working with therapists and I really appreciated the ‘normalisation’ of this. As someone who has been in therapy and hugely advocates for it, it was nice to see characters drop their mental health and therapy sessions casually and naturally into conversations, instead of it being a ‘thing’.

I’d definitely recommend both of these books and Loren’s series The Ones Who Got Away, of which I’ve read three of the four (I’m about to pick up the final one today!).

All books are out now, with ‘What If You & Me’ releasing just this week!

I really enjoyed this book until the end. The epilogue was too drawn out and repetitious. Andi is a horror novelist and true crime podcaster. She gravitated towards the horror genre after her first boyfriend, a sociopath, emotionally wrecked her. Hill is a medically retired firefighter who lost part of a leg two years earlier.. He's dealing with physical and emotional scars. I liked both Andi and Hill and that they each had their own demons to face. I also enjoyed seeing Hollyn and Jasper from Yes & I Love You. I like books that aren't necessarily a sequel but exist in the same world (if that makes sense). I do have a spoiler that I'll post below.

Thank you NetGalley and SourceBooks Casa for the opportunity to read a digital ARC in return for an honest review.

Spoiler:

I felt like the climactic scene was handled improperly - or at least the lead-up to it. Andi was sure her house had been broken into. The cop who answered the call was Hill's ex-fiance. Christina was very dismissive of Andi during the call and thought Andi was overreacting - said there was no sign of forced entry. Later, during the climactic scene, Christina tells Hill (at a party!) that Andi had been doxxed.. An internet troll who had been posting aggressive comments on Andi's blog posted on a sketchy bulletin board that he had actually broken into Andi's home without her knowing it. He also posted her address in the forum. Andi had gone home alone, was accosted by the guy on her front porch. Hill rushes to the rescue to save Andi and they live happily ever after. What the heck1?Why didn't Christina go directly to Andi to let her know she was in danger the very minute she found out about it instead of casually mentioning to someone at a party?

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 stars

What If You & Me is basically the perfect romance book for me. The main character, Andi, loves horror movies and has a true crime podcast, so I immediately loved her. Hill, her love interest, is also the best and very swoonworthy, making this romance as sweet and emotional as Roni Loren’s other novels.

What If You & Me centers around Andi, who was a character in Yes & I Love You and gets her own story this time. After a traumatic event in her past, Andi takes solace in horror movies and true crime, which she uses in her podcast to discuss how women can better protect themselves. When her new neighbor, Hill, helps her after a terrifying break-in, Andi begins to open herself up to someone for the first time in years. Hill is a retired firefighter dealing with a serious injury from a fire rescue gone wrong. Both are in difficult places in their lives, but through movie nights and cooking lessons, they begin to fall in love.

The horror movie references made this book for me. I absolutely loved Andi and Hill and their horror movie nights were the best scenes in the book. I always love how Roni Loren shines light on various disabilities, as well as mental health in her books. Her characters are always fully formed and the romances are a slow burn at the perfect pace. This may be my favorite book of hers and I cannot wait to see what she writes next.

ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I’ve read by Roni Loren and it definitely won’t be the last. This particular story focuses on two characters who find themselves living next to each other - Andi, a horror author and true crime podcaster, and Hill, a now retired firefighter after an accident on the job resulted in the loss of his leg. As a spark of attraction forms between the two main characters, we are shown how they have each suffered a traumatic event in their pasts, leaving them with lasting psychological repercussions, the aftermath of which proving that building a relationship can be a monumental challenge. I think the author does an amazing job of realistically and tastefully discussing disability, fear, mental health and post-traumatic stress while advocating the benefits of therapy and healthy relationships. I found it super interesting that she has a background in social work and mental health counseling! 4.5 stars!

CoHo is right…Roni Loren is definitely a new favorite!

This book was sweet, steamy and absolutely heartwarming.

This story follows Andi, a true crime podcaster and horror writer, who is trying to heal from a past that still haunts her. Despite what she’s been through, Andi isn’t one to let life beat her up and finds the good in everything. We also meet her handsome and grumpy neighbor, Hill Dawson. Hill is a retired firefighter, who lost his fiancé and his career after a debilitating injury on the job. He has been struggling with depression and can’t seem to get out of the funk he’s been in since he lost everything. Hill is determined to never fall in love again, but Andi proves she may be just the right amount of a lovable pain in the ass to win him over.

I absolutely loved the connection between these two and the neighbors to lovers story. I need to go back and read the first of this series (even though this can be read as a standalone). I’m truly blown away by this author and can’t wait to read more. This is one of those books that you only hope will become a movie/series…I need more of Hill and Andi.

Thank you Netgalley and Source Books for this copy. This book came out this week on 7/6/21, now excuse me while I go add Roni Loren’s books to my cart.

4.5

Years ago, Andi experienced a horrific relationship and was lucky to get out of it, but she still suffers from extreme anxiety when certain situations present themselves. She's been able to channel some of her anxiety into her podcast where she talks about lessons-learned from popular horror movies, plus she also write her own horror novels under a penname. While on a deadline for her new book, Andi discovers her new neighbor's stomping around at all hours of the night does not help her get her work done.

Two years ago while on a call, former firefighter Hill Dawson was injured and that resulted in the loss of his leg and his career. While Hill is now on the mend physically, mentally he's not doing so great. But his new neighbor is not the type to let him be alone and brood.

Andi and Hill meet each other at just the right time. They're both still healing from past trauma and both on the precipice of moving forward, that is, if they can both just believe in themselves enough to take that step.

Andi was a standout character for me from the first book [book:Yes & I Love You|53439441]. I was happy that she got her own book. It's a little bit of serendipity that I was concurrently reading this book - which deals with a character that kind of uses horror movies to help deal with their real-world anxiety - while also reading a book that deals with the "Final Girl" survivors that are immortalized in those horror movies. It was an interesting juxtaposition.

That being said, I liked how Roni Loren tackles both Andi and Hill's traumas. Seeing how they each handle their situations in their own way and the bad and good parts of that. Of course Andi's occurred quite a number of years before Hill's and while that doesn't mean that she should be further along in her recovery, it does mean that she's had more time to find the tools that work good for her in coping. Hill's is more recent and still raw. Not only did he lose a career he loved, and suffered a bodily injury that changes the rest of his life, but his fiancé also left him shortly afterwards, which also changes the trajectory he saw his life heading towards. Hill is still going through the why's and how's, doubting himself and it's made him very depressed.

Seeing both Hill and Andi help one another out of their almost self-imposed exile from the world was just sweet. Seeing their connection and their belief in the other was just written so seamlessly and could have not been done any other way.

I've so far really enjoyed this series and I'm hoping we'll get more books. I think Roni Loren has a deft hand at taking these various issues and circumstances that people deal with and making them seen and heard. Giving a different idea and perspective that I haven't experienced in the romance genre before. Taking some of the bad times and showing that, that is not all there is. There can be healing.

Ok I'm officially adding Roni Loren to my list of auto buy/must read authors! Her books are incredibly well written, spicy and most importantly, tackle sensitive topics such as mental health with such care. In What If You & Me, Andi and Hill both have some pretty big demons to overcome and I loved following their journey both individually and together as a couple. I liked the true crime aspect of this novel as well as the deep dive into horror movies!

Overall, it was another big hit for me and I'm excited for Eliza's story next!

Roni Loren is officially an auto-buy author for me. Never before have I found an author that tackles heavy subject matter and mental health with such care and precision, while also writing such incredible storylines and characters that jump off the page. Yes & I Love You was my first by Roni Loren (and I loved it) and so when I heard Andi was getting her own story in What If You & Me, I jumped at the opportunity to read it.

And holy moly was it good.

Andi had demons. A lot of demons. And she was not only cognizant of those demons, but she was actively working on herself, and wanted to be better, get better, and find her happiest self. And she thought, for the most part, that she was happy. But then she met Hill. Who also had demons. A lot of demons. And Hill was stuck in this headspace he thought he would be forever (the life of a grumpy, introverted, cave dweller, essentially) but then he met Andi. Light, bubbly, quirky, deeper than she appeared Andi. And both of their lives were thrown for a loop, and they realized that maybe they wanted more. More than “just handling life” and more than “I’m okay.” They wanted to be happy. And maybe, if they used each other to practice tackling their demons, they’d be able to find happy.

I loved this book. Did I say that already? I loved this damn book. The characters were honest and communicative, they had real problems and experiences, they were well-written and flawed and messy, but they were oh so wonderful.

And the STEAM LEVEL. Jesus I think I’m still sweating thinking about that first *moment* on the couch. My god, Roni Loren. Beautiful.

I loved this book. I’m going to keep saying it, because I loved this book. I loved the character growth, I loved the honesty, I loved the individual journeys, and I loved the storyline. I loved the supporting cast, I loved the banter, and I loved the charm and wit. I just really loved it.

Thank you, Sourcebooks Casablanca, for the review copy and giving me the chance to read this one. I loved it I loved it I loved it.

Contemporary romance lovers – you need this book in your life!

I read the first in the Say Anything series, YES & I LOVE YOU, a few months ago and have been raving about it ever since. I was so excited to read the second in the series, WHAT IF YOU & ME, but was also unsure if it could live up to its predecessor. Spoiler: it does. I loved this one just as much as the first.

Highlights:

Character development / backstory: This is dual POV so we get a deep dive of both Andi and Hill and I absolutely adored both of them individually. The character growth for both is perfect.

Mental health & disability rep: Andi and Hill have both been through some trauma and their journey’s to healing were done really beautifully and respectfully.

True crime elements: Andi is a true crime writer & podcaster (think MFM or Crime Junkie) and it’s a big part of her story. As a true crime lover myself, this aspect was really fun and there’s actually a bit of suspense threaded throughout.

& as if that wasn't enough ... grump / sunshine trope, steam is on point, respectful hero with emphasis on consent, awesome side characters

CW: violence, stalking, infidelity (past relationship), depression, PTSD, open door romance

Thanks to Sourcebooks Casa for my digital arc and Dreamscape Media for the alc.

One sentence review: A really great romance that manages to combine the fun of a horror movie tutorial with a very thoughtful look at two people learning how to manage significant mental health issues.

The main character of What I You and Me is Andi, a true crime podcaster and horror novelist, who battles anxiety stemming from a traumatic past experience. Her neighbor Hill is a former firefighter who lost part of his leg during a fire rescue and is still trying to figure out how to adjust his life to fit his new reality.

My thoughts:

- Roni Loren really has a gifted way with characters. I loved both Andi and Hill and she does an excellent job of bringing these two, and their struggles with mental health and other issues, to light.
- I loved the recap of horror movies. I recently read The Dead Girl Support Group, and as someone who doesn't really watch horror, I really wish I had read this one first so I would have had a review of horror films.
- One thing I really love about this series is the cowork space and the focus on people whose work is more independent, as opposed to the more structured corporate or governmental model.

I highly recommend this book as it has a fun premise and some great characters. It is definitely going to go on my list of books to recommend for people to read in October who want to get into the spooky spirit, but without any real horror.

NARRATION: The narration on this one was top notch. Desiree Ketchum does a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and lending them spark.

A romance book written by a fellow social worker?! This steamy + tender + fun read by Roni Loren was such a win! Andi is a horror/true crime writer + podcaster who moves in next door to Hill, a gruff retired firefighter. Sparks immediately fly even though neither of them are looking for love. I simply love the “guy next door” trope in romance novels and this one was so well done! The book explored themes of anxiety, PTSD, therapy and disability in an honest, authentic and open manner. It came as no surprise to me when I learned that the author has a background in social work + mental health. I thought she did a lovely job of discussing these important + difficult topics while blending in the romance elements. This book was also FUN. I loved the banter and relationships between the main characters but also their friends as well. I couldn’t get enough of the main character’s dates and loved how true crime/horror, cooking and podcasting elements were added in. Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca + Netgalley for this ARC.

Roni Loren is a great writer who knows how to make the reader feel the emotions of her characters. What If You & Me covers some intense topics while telling a beautiful story of two imperfect people helping each other heal. Andi and Hill seem like opposites at first glance, but as they begin to share their history and trust each other, they realize just how much they understand each other. This book isn’t as humorous as Yes & I Love You but it still made me laugh. And oh is it spicy! Roni Loren doesn’t hold back with the steam. I did a mix of audio and ebook and then ran out and got the physical book to add it to my library. Whichever media you prefer, get your copy today!

Thank you to @NetGalley and @sourcebookscasa for the digital arc and to @Dreamscapemedia for the alc.

CW: anxiety, depression, cyberstalking, manipulation, PTSD, assault, injury by fire

Grumpy/sunshine is a favorite trope of mine, so I was very excited to read this newest book by Roni Loren, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s also a fascinating take on that trope: while Andi is extroverted and optimistic, she’s not without her own troubles, and I loved how in some ways she’s less sunshine-y than her “grumpy werewolf” neighbor. This is the second in the series but can easily be read as a standalone.

Andi’s never met her neighbor – frankly she half suspects he’s a werewolf since she only hears him moving around at night – until a late night horror movie session leads him to think she’s in trouble. It’s been two years since his career-ending injury, but Hill still thinks of himself as a firefighter, so of course he rushes over to help. Andi’s not entirely sure she can trust him (her gut’s been wrong before) but when she needs help, he’s the one she runs to. As horror movie viewings turn into quasi-dates, can Andi and Hill overcome their pasts to trust and rely on each other?

Andi was introduced in Hollyn’s book, the bubbly and extroverted true crime/horror podcaster who befriends a befuddled Hollyn and encourages her in her own relationship. While I’m neither a horror buff nor a horror virgin like Hill, I appreciated how much Andi loved the genre (while still understanding its shortcomings) and how it was a coping mechanism for her. I think a lot of times we think coping mechanisms are just crutches, but this is something she loves and makes money doing while helping other women. Definitely life goals material! Andi’s anxiety manifests in a variety of ways, but mostly constant “what-if’s” – what if she forgot to lock the patio door? What if her new neighbor is lying about being a firefighter? A lot of those what-ifs especially make it hard for her to have a relationship, as she’s very wary of men in general due to her past experiences.

“If you stop moving, you get more stuck, more hopeless. So even if moving forward is the last thing you feel like you have the energy to do, you have to force yourself sometimes—even if it’s little things.”

Hill is two years out from the injury that ended his career as a firefighter. He’s still woken every night by nightmares and has no idea what to do with himself, other than being landlord for a few rental properties, including the one he’s currently living in. His best friend is pushing him to write a cookbook since he loved cooking for the firehouse, but he can’t seem to drag himself out of his depression long enough to get started. But then he meets Andi and he can’t get her out of his head. To be honest, I was the same way, in that I found Andi to be the more compelling character of the two. This isn’t necessarily a knock against Hill but more that it was easy for me to empathize with her due to my own experiences.

“He knew what that feeling was—wanting something but not knowing if you were capable of having it without your demons getting in the way. He fought those wars, too.”

The romance between Andi and Hill is very slow-burn, partly due to Andi’s previous trauma. To be honest, neither person thinks they’re ready for a relationship, so it starts out as more of a friends-with-benefits situation. Both have scars from their past traumas that affect how they approach relationships, though in Hill’s cause they’re both physical as well as mental. And while I can’t speak to Hill’s disability, I felt like it was handled thoughtfully. One of the things I loved about Andi and Hill’s relationship is that they fit so well with each other, not in spite of their traumas but because of them, and watching them figure that out with honesty and patience and superb communication was incredibly fulfilling. The consent is excellent. While the situation that forms Andi’s trauma isn’t what most people would think of when with sexual assault – and it’s something her own parents deny was assault – Hill immediately grasps it. I liked how he respected her boundaries, and I liked how, once he admitted he had some depression-related inertia and that he needed a push, she became that push, inviting him over to watch movies and visit her coworking space. Trauma, especially Andi’s type of trauma, takes away your feelings of safety, and one thing I really loved was seeing the characters think about their relationship in those terms: which feeling came first in their relationship, love or safety?

“People seem to think horror is anti-woman, but I think a lot of it subverts gender dynamics. In most cases, you don’t want to be the dude in the horror movie. The dudes get dead. They ride in like the hero to save the ladies and the villain is like—nope. The women save themselves.”

I am a huge fan of how the author writes mental health. It’s normalized for characters to talk about therapy and coping mechanisms. If a character sets a boundary, it’s respected, and for the most part everyone involved, including side characters, is sensitive to mental health topics. It’s why I’m ok with reading this series (and her previous series) even though it has such heavy content because I trust it will be handled well. As for cons, I didn’t find the suspense portion of the story very compelling. I saw it coming from the beginning of the book and was hoping I was wrong, since it seemed to pop up at random times rather than being woven throughout the plot. I’m generally not a fan of the “omg I almost lost you” clue by four. In the author’s defense, it was done as well and gently as I thought it could be and it reinforced Andi’s control of her own life.

Overall, while I didn’t care for the suspense arc, it’s a small portion of the book and greatly overshadowed by the amazingly built relationship between Andi and Hill. Roni Loren’s solidified herself a place on my auto-buy list and I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

I received an advance review copy of this book from NetGalley. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Well, I’m not even sure where to start. When I read the first book in this series, Yes and I Love You earlier this year, I screamed to all of Bookstagram to read it. I literally loved it so so much. I assumed there was no way in the world this book would live up to the hype in my head….

Well, I was wrong - I LOVED THIS BOOK SO DARN MUCH!!!! I’m not really even sure what to say. I was completely engrossed in this book from page one - I adore Loren’s writing. The romance, the steam, the healthy focus on mental health - I was there for ALL OF IT!!

❤️Andi and Hill were both such raw, authentic characters. With real problems. It takes them a while to open up to each other because of unique trust issues, but their chemistry just jumped off of the page from the very beginning.
❤️The steam. It’s hot and sexy - but so very respectful and never over the top. Hill is such a dream guy.
❤️The one had a fun (and sometimes scary) focus on true crime - which I loved!
❤️Mental health and disability focus - I know I’m saying that twice but it’s just so well done. She tackles these issues head on and doesn’t skate over the details.

Even better than the first, and the first was fantastic!
Don’t worry, you can totally read this book without reading book one. The second book has a darker/suspenseful atmosphere than book one did but that’s part of what drew me in. I think the author did a great job balancing the romance and the suspense. I never felt that one got more screen time than the other.
The romance was also top shelf but I expect nothing less from Roni Loren at this point.
I think the novel also handles trauma in a caring, non demeaning manner and I give the author kudos for that.
If you can’t tell by all the gushing, I loved this! So, if you were hesitant about picking this up don’t be! You won’t regret it!
