I loved this book! If I had grandkids or small children I would buy this in a heartbeat. I loved all the characters and the illustrations. It’s not too hard for little ones but not easy for older ones. Thanks to Netgalley for the early read. I’ll give this 4 stars.

This is such a wonderful find it book. The illustrations make you feel like you are in the town with everyone having fun. At the beginning, it shows the characters and what you can be looking for on each page. Each page also has a separate list of things to find. Even thought this book does not have many pages, you can spend so many hours finding new things in each picture!! This would be great for a car trip for a child to work on. Also, something for a child to do when waiting.

Find My Favorite Things isn't your ordinary search and find book. There is a cast of characters that appear on each page along with the standard "on this page can you find" things. Each character has its own story through the pages of the book. The pictures depict every day life without getting too busy. Young and old "searchers" alike will enjoy sharing this book and making up the stories that go along with it!

This is a great search and find for younger kiddos. My older students love I Spy but my younger students struggle to read the words of what they're supposed to find. This book is perfect because it has pictures and words of what to find, plus additional things to go back through and look for.

This search and find book is sure to be enjoyed by children. Each two page spread features a location that kids will find appealing. There are pages on the park, toy store, market and beach. Young ones can search for objects in each location. There are also characters who appear in every scene to find and some questions for additional searching as, for example, looking for who lost a red kite and what happened to it.

This title’s creators offer excellent suggestions about how to help a child to get the most from this book. Their suggestions are practical and helpful.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.

This was a cute finding book. I think it was hoping to be a bit much though. Not only was it a finding book but it had a storyline attached to it. The first page introduces the reader to a bunch of characters. Like 10 families. And I think that was just too much. You know, Where’s Waldo was just the one character of Waldo, then at some point they added his pet. But it wasn’t 10 families of 2-4 people! Even though there are only 8 scenes, my kids (7 and 8 years old) still didn’t quite keep up with who was who. They figured it all out because of the scene, but didn’t quite remember all the characters yet names when it asked questions.
But other than that, cute artwork and cute book. I also found it interesting that in the toy store, it was a boy found holding a princess doll and not a girl. Agenda-y, yes. I mean, if you don’t like or agree with that kind of thing, be aware.

What a fun little I spy book! It encourages observation, vocabulary, and communication skills in children as well as their ability to answer questions. Not a ton of pages, but still chock full of lots of entertainment.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.

I am a sucker for seek and find books and this one is no exception! I loved it - the illustrations are colourful and detailed and display a wide range of people and objects. As a teacher of English Language Learners I cannot wait to get a copy or two of this for my classroom. It is sure to engage students in conversations and lends itself nicely to teaching vocabulary, prepositions, and writing!
