As always Buzz Books is a pleasure to read and make my TBR list for the upcoming book season. Lots of variety in genres and selections. I found a lot of new to me authors to add to my wishlist.
I am sorry to say I found this sampler far too political for my liking. Most of the books are very serious. There is a sample of a book I absolutely loved and already read, The Lost Apothecary, which is worth checking out.
I love looking the what's coming in publishing. Thank you. I know this is supposed to be 100 characters long, but I don't know anything else to say.
A useful guide for upcoming releases for the Spring/Summer 2021 period.
In this book you have the opportunity to read a few chapters of some books and I find it very useful.
Thank you NetGalley!
The Buzz Books are a huge highlight of my year - the sample chapters are intriguing, and the opportunity to find some of the big works of the year before their release is always exciting. It also gives one of the best overall "temperatures" of the industry, being impressively able to pick out and offer some of the best upcoming books the year has to offer.
This gives readers a great look into upcoming titles for Spring/Summer 2021. I'm looking forward to a lot of these so it was nice to read snippets from some of them
I love these previews- I'm always looking forward to the new issue. They help me get a jump on the ordering for my library, and to get my patrons excited about upcoming titles. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much for this incredible resource. I eagerly await each edition, excited to explore the new season of publications. Buzz Books is a gift!
Thanks again for putting this collection together for readers. I always enjoy looking at the titles to see what will be coming out over the next few months and reading the excerpts. I've added many to my personal TBR pile and will be arranging access to others for different reviewers.
I always look forward to Buzz Books! It's a great way to sample upcoming releases and I appreciate the links to read or request the galleys.
There are some great books coming out this year, and I'm super excited for them all.
I'm particularly looking forward to The Last Fallen Star by Graci Kim, The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict & Victoria Christopher Murray, and The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner.
A very diverse collection of books in the Spring/Summer 20201 edition of Buzz Books. Readers who are into Mystery/Murder will find some interesting titles but overall for me there were only a couple that caught my interest.
Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this title and to give an honest review.
Loved the zoom program and opportunity to read an excerpt from a diverse array of books to be published this spring and summer.
What a treasure trove of book selections!! Great excerpts to read make it easy to see whether reading the book is something to do. I found several books that sounded interesting - - books that otherwise I might not have known about.
I've seen these Buzz Books before but this is the first one I read - - it won't be the last!!
Once again I have the privilege of sampling spring and summer titles ahead of their publication dates. I have already requested some to be reviewed, listed others to be read and had the unique experience of finding titles I had already finished. Thanks, NetGalley, for this enriching experience. Keep them coming.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. Reading these are always my favorite and give me great insight of what to look forward to in the year. Thank you.
Many thanks for the comprehensive listing!! Already looking forward to so many eagerly anticipated titles.
Love reading this to find out the upcoming releases! I always find so many new authors and books to add to my TBR list.
The story I am most anticipating in this Buzz Books 2021: Spring/Summer collection is Julie Murphy's If the Shoe Fits. I love reading modern day versions of fairy tales that are unique and have their own spin on them. I love the voice of the main character, Cindy. I am excited to see the direction in which this rom-com goes. Seeing rom-coms represent people who haven't been represented before is so great to see, and I will definitely be reading this entire novel when it comes out.
Representation (based on excerpt): fat main character
I really love reading these samplers. I have found books that I normally wouldn't read because they weren't my preferred genre. I am excited at a few I read that I went ahead and requested full copies of. I really hope you will continue to do these in the future. I enjoy reading a sample before committing to the whole book.
