I read this ARC for an honest review
All thoughts and opinions are mine
I absolutely love these tomes when they come out
Being able to see what is going to be published and be able to read extracts is a real treat
There are so many amazing titles coming out in 2021! I love reading these preview chapters to help me prioritize my TBR pile!
I enjoyed digging into upcoming Buzz Books' snapshots - this collection is great to understand what's coming into the market in 2021, and to add way too many titles to your TBR.
Each quarter, publishing houses release a catalogue of forthcoming releases. Publisher’s Lunch combs through each of these and finds the best of the best for debut authors, the most anticipated releases, hot commercial fiction, and more. What comes out of that effort is Buzz Books: a superbly well-crafted compendium of titles. I look forward to the release of the newest Buzz Books because, while I also comb through my favorite publishing house’s catalogues for titles, I consider Buzz Books to be a supplemental catalogue all its own. I use Buzz Books to confirm my own suspicions about which books should be highly anticipated, which debut authors are worthy of a read, and which titles I had suspected could be best-sellers. I also use it to help me discover authors or titles from publishing houses I don’t normally follow closely. Buzz Books helps me find what could be my next great read. It is well worth even a small perusal, even if you only explore it for the book excerpts.
As always, a great collection of upcoming books. I did enjoy the old format of the collection, one for adult books, one for young adult books a little bit more, so I can't help but hope that in the future the two age groups would be separated. All in all my TBR just got bigger.
BuzzBooks previews are one of my favorite ways to sample upcoming titles and add to my TBR. This group of books added a few I was unaware of before downloading! I can’t wait to read the finished copies of some.
I loved that I read this and I found great new books to read. I have added a few to my TBR. I will be keeping my eyes out of more from the authors and I can't wait to read the finish copies of the books.
I always look forward to Buzz Books! What a cool way to discover upcoming books for yourself and others. It's hard to be patient when you find titles you know you're going to love!!! Keep up the excellent work and know that librarians and readers are so grateful for this publication!!
I always enjoy the book buzz preview documents. Thanks, Netgalley and publishers! Need to get to 100 characters....
So many offered titles, what a treat! I don't recall the Buzz Books containing so many excerpts. I also like how the book was split in 4 parts: Fiction, Debut, Non Fiction, YA.

Buzz Books is my palate cleansing, feeling like I am entering a new reading season.
This is my first time reading an edition of Buzz Books. It was fantastic to get a snapshot of books to be published in 2021 and I've already requested advance copies of some and added many to my TBR list. Thank you to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch BUZZ BOOKS for the opportunity to review an advanced copy.
I really couldn't get into any of the stories. Sorrry, just found them boring. They could not hold my interest and I found myself reading other books by other authors.
Thank you NetGalley for this sneak peak!! I really enjoyed this opportunity to explore genres outside of my typical reading. I found several in particular that I have added to my TBR for this year both from within and outside of my typical genre and look forward to reading those books.
I absolutely love getting the advance of Buzz Books. It’s like I am a kid in a candy store. Never mind that my TBR list is 1000 books, this shows me all the new and upcoming books. IMO, this is the best guide to use for getting ideas for new books to read!
Absolutely, fantastic.
Thank you, Net Galley and Publisher’s Lunch/Buzz Books for the ARC. I was up all night checking out these books.
This is such a great resource for avid readers. The book contains lists of upcoming book releases plus excerpts from several books. I love that the book covers are included as well. I have added several books on my TBR.
Nice look into some upcoming book! Would've loved some more YA titles though since there were very little of them and that was the part I was looking forward to the most. I do get it, though.
A sneakpeek into the new books coming out in early 2021. The books is sectioned by genre - fiction, debut, non-fiction and young adult with excerpts and descriptions for the most anticipated reads in each section. Take heed - you may end up with a very long "to be read" list after this!
I RECEIVED A COMPLIMENTARY ADVANCED READER COPY OF THIS BOOK THROUGH NETGALLEY. OPINIONS EXPRESSED IN THIS REVIEW ARE COMPLETELY MY OWN.).
This is the perfect list to use for our spring and summer TBR! Looking forward to reading and reviewing many of these new titles.
These samplers are always helpful to get a taste of what’s coming out and are much appreciated. There are anyways a couple where I go on to read the entire book that I otherwise might not have paid attention to.
This is a fun, great way to preview books - a chapter or so of each anticipated book is shared - the range is lovely and diverse - something for everyone. Some genres I’m not into and while I didn’t end up going past a couple of paras of a few, I appreciated the opportunity to sample. There were some good ones and debut authors as well - always great to see new writers being published. Three in particular I’m eager to check out - Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray, Music of Bees by Eileen Garvin, and Facing the Mountain by Daniel James Brown. Thanks NetGalley and all the publishers for providing a much-anticipated window into spring/summer 2021.
