This Time Around, a novella collection by Denise Hunter, Melissa Ferguson and Kathleen Fuller

This is a delightful group of stories.

A Summer Detour by Denise Hunter begins the book with a story of Allie Adams who fell for her next door neighbor, Luke Fletcher while they were in high school. The romance never matured (his fault, she says and she hasn’t spoken to him since). Now they are stuck together driving a ’57 Chevy to her grandparents’ 50th anniversary party. The ensuing ride and adventure brings a lot of realizations and truths. It’s a great jaunt!

Pining for You by Melissa Ferguson centers around Evergreen Christmas Tree Farm, its caretakers, the Whitesides family and its owner, Theo Watkins. The reality of what has been happening at the farm for quite a while has not been really clear to either Theo or Skye Whitesides. I enjoyed the story, the setting and the fact that Theo is not your typical male character.

He Loves me, He Loves Me Not by Kathleen Fuller also has a different type of male lead. In fact there are two main male characters, but only one is definitely the better man. Sophie is a florist but never is the one receiving the flowers. But Landon and Joe both are vying for her attention. I loved the humor in the story, I had never read Kathleen Fuller before, but I will in the future.

All three of these novellas are fun and sweet. I recommend them all!

THIS TIME AROUND is a delightful collection of romantic novellas in which we come across Allie Adams in A Summer Detour by Denise Hunter, Skye Fuller in Pining For Your by Melissa Ferguson, and Sophie Morgan in He Loves Me , He Loves Me Not by Kathleen Fuller, finding love.
The characters all have issues that need to be dealt with, which make the stories more interesting. The authors describe their characters' emotions well so that we can feel their joys and pain.
I recommend This Time Around as an enjoyable light read.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson. the opinions in this review are completely my own.

A delightful, entertaining collection of three novellas with romance, hope and also a lot of unsolved hurt feelings, fears and longing.
“This Time Around”, by Denise Hunter, Melissa Fergusson and Kathleen Fuller (Thomas Nelson - FICTION) features romantic characters that have known each other since childhood and/or were attracted/involved before.
All stories feature complex characters with interesting backstories and are emotionally satisfying reads. Fuller’s hero – the average man, not the more handsome, on the short side, but just a trustworthy, upright man, won me over with the refreshing difference. I loved this detour from the tall, dark and handsome hero, and the humor, too.

Each book was completely lovely with charming characters, a fun plotline, and just the right amount of sweet romance.
