The writing in this was incredible! I really had a good time seeing the boys overcoming their differences and fall in love. A very rewarding story that made me happy :) I will definitely look up more book by Keyes!

This was a trip right from the beginning. This is an image of the future I could totally see happening, unfortunately. I really enjoyed the entire subplot about colors way more than I probably should have.

Another favorite by a great author. The plot of the story was very well written. The author really draws the reader in as you read.

I picked this book because I loved the author's previous book. That being stated I was hesitant because I'm not a huge fan of futuristic books. I had to let that go for this book. Zero was an inspiring inventor from 4021 who tried to invent the teleportation machine, but something wrong happened, and Logan showed up from 2021. Zero wasn’t happy at first, and Logan was terrified of the odd future especially the talking Furists (big cats) and Cold-blooded (big snakes). The flow was wonderful and the budding romance was adorable. There were a few comedic parts in the book that I enjoyed, especially when Logan was figuring out to use the futuristic restroom. I also loved the side character of Honey. She was a great friend to Zero and a great ally for them. My only complaint was the ending. I felt that it was a bit rushed. Overall, it was a good futuristic romance book.

I was drawn in by the book 's description, it felt like such a unique concept. Yet, when i started the book, I had no clue what was happening. I struggled through the chapter 1 and 2, and somehow i reached chapter three, but i couldn't go on. But this has nothing to do with the book's quality, more with my preference.

This clearly isn't my genre (Sci-Fi). I'll be honest and say that this is the first sci-fi book i have tried. It felt like a children's book to me. The characters do feel like something kids would love.

The writing was great. I have been round this road before, whee an author has an established book series but i couldn't read the book because the writing sucked. That's not the case with Tilly Keyes's Love Logan. Every character is unique and distinct. The dialogue flows well. Can't say much about the plot as I haven't read it all, but it looks promising.

I do hope you aren't disheartened by the feedback. I have left good ratings based on what I have read. Keep writing!

Wow, i am speechless... This book was so unexpectedly perfect for me and i just fell in love from the first moment. I am always a little wary of timetravel, but i loved it here and enjoyed the mcs so much.

Zero is such a fun, flawed and beautiful character. He is definitely going to be a favourite of mine. The conflict with what he knows in his time, the struggle with his goals and being selfish. Yet his showmanship and his wonder at magic, he has so much growth throughout this book and it was incredible to go on the adventure with him.

Oh and Logan, his misunderstandings with the 41st century compared to his own were done in such a realistic way. I enjoyed seeing him overcome his struggles, especially with the cat and snake aspect of 41st century.

Along with teaching Zero what love is and how different their times are, it was amazing to see these two learn so much from each other. Perfect slowburn feels as they get to know more and their admiratuon of each other is stunning, so many emotions!

I was all in for the magic moments, finding the wonder in those tricks and building the snowman. Working with the plants, going to the recycle yard and all the little moments in the theatre together. I was sucked in to this story, Logan & Zero stole my heart.

The side cast is wonderful, i loved Honey so much and Rae was lovely too.

Oh and the epilogue is pure beautiful, i really loved how they reach their happy ending together and it was such a sweet moment. Overall this book was a solid, feel good and entertaining read that while may not be perfect. It was for me. 💕

I enjoyed the book very much. The very slow and tender development of the love story corresponded exactly with the world view and the character of a person from the 41st century.
Zero's development and the changes that Logan awakened in him made my heart warm.

What a book! What an asbolutely amazing, beautiful book.
At first, I was caught off-track. I had expected someone from our time to timetravel back in the past, not to the future. But once I've managed to deal with my first surprise, I can say this book was absolutely amazing. I loved the characters, the concept - I sincerely hope the future ends up looking different than that - but I loved that there were different animal-people-hybrids. They were written extremly interesting, especially - and I can't help using Logan's description, but I fear I am a person of 2020/21 - the snake-people. Zero and Logan were wonderful characters and I was constantly rooting for them, Logan especially.
The ending was slightly unexpected on my end, but wonderfull nontheless. I enjoyed reading this book and I loved Honey (even though I was a bit perplexed about the name first...)

All in all the book is enjoyable and a fun concept. Normally time travel transports one of the protagonists to the past but here Logan travels to the future. I like Zero and how much he grows from a selfish and shallow person to someone caring and in love. I wish that there had been a dual point of view though, because Logan is quite flat. He isn't fully fleshed out as a character and I don't really feel anything about him one way or the other. I liked the ending and the writing was good too but I just never really got into the story. The relationship between Zero and Logan wasn't all that engaging (mostly because Logan is so one dimensional) and I didn't really get invested. Still a fun read with an intriguing concept.

4.5 Stars

Zero is a human living in the underground world of Earth in the fourth millenium. He's a handy guy, a picker-fixer who aspires to be an inventor. In this world, no one lives above ground, as the atmosphere was destroyed by nuclear war time out of mind ago. Along with humans in this subterranean existence are Furists and Cold-Blooded. This means they are humanoid fur-covered beings, like giant cats, or scaly ambulatory snake-like people. These are not mutants, their ancestors arrived from other planets looking for shelter as their home worlds died. The social structure in this time is not family-groups. Children may be raised by their parents until they are 10, but are then turned loose within the "islands" of population where they are expected to manufacture a living from whatever skills they possess. If they show themselves to be industrious, these foundlings can earn a basic apartment and token credits to get food. If anyone from this time stops earning and runs out of the tokens or food to sustain themselves they will be shipped out to another planet, likely to scrape an existence from the recycling dumps they have made of other worlds.

Zero wants to be more than a simple technician for fruit pickers. He has been building a teleportation device using scavenged parts for nearly ten years. He scrimped and saved his tokens to buy a theater in which to demonstrate his device for the wealthy Elite, who live in a hovering island above the rabble of commoners below. One of these Elite is Apollo, A former Lover of Zero's who took his design ideas for improving hovercars and made himself an Elite, abandoning Zero. Apollo never stays away from Zero for long, relishing the power he has over him as and Elite, and enjoying any slights and suffering Zero experiences. Instead of teleporting Zero, this device brings a man from they year 2021 into his own time. Zero doesn't know this, at first. He thinks this plain and unusual "Logan" person was paid by Apollo to ruin his device, and humiliate him in front of his audience. Zero is bitter and furious, and leaves Logan in the care of his best friend and assistant, a Furian called Honey.

It is Honey that determines Logan must have come from somewhere else, because he's terrified by "cat-people" and his reactions prompt Zero to investigate. He's not happy to discover his teleporter is a time machine. he can't use that for any social or monetary currency in his world. If anyone discovered Logan's origin, he'd be studied or killed, and Zero's too wound up in his own disgrace to really care that Logan is a man out of time. It is only more irritating that Logan's ancient sensibilities, like "love" and "family ties", are somehow resonating with Honey. She convinces Zero to fix the machine to send Logan back, but this will take time and tokens, two things Zero is running short on--especially once Logan's ineptitude costs Zero his day job.

Meanwhile, as Zero endeavors to repair his device, he's unwillingly charmed by Logan's card tricks and "magic", another unfamiliar concept. It turns out that Logan's father was a successful magician in his time, and Logan often studied as his assistant. The magic he performs seems much like what Zero would like to produce scientifically, and the rapport grows between them. This is dangerous, naturally, because Logan is meant to return to his own time, but also, the unfamiliar feelings associated with that love concept are interfering with Zero's ability to provide for himself and Logan. Apollo's lurking on the edges, hoping to exploit Zero's vulnerabilities, as well.

This is a magical and intriguing dystopian love story, with two great MCs finding love in the most unexpected way. Logan is so out of his element, he's quaint and trite in the most basic sense of wishing both for a return home and also for true love building between himself and Zero. For his part, Zero is a selfish man--because that is the prime directive of his society. Sex is sex, and work is currency in his world. He could trade himself for sex to earn the tokens he needs to manage his life and help Logan, but doing so will alienate Logan, who's rather puritanical about the situation.

I adored the world-building here, and the love story as it developed. There were great moments of tension, especially as Zero built the device that would take his one true love far away to the past. His own impending bankruptcy and inevitable removal from society is also a great emotional hurdle, promising hurt on top of hurt before the climax. I loved Zero myself long before he solved his problems and found his happily ever after. Highly recommend!

Thank you to the publisher NineStar Press LLC and NetGalley for the review copy.

I love books about time travel and this one here is quite unique.

Zero’s teleportation machine is the talk of the town in 4021. It could be the next big thing, even bigger than the flying cars Zero's ex boyfriend had supposedly invented. If only it would work!
Unfortunately however, on opening night, the machine fails. And the disastrous show turns Zero into the laughingstock of the town.

"Stupid Zero, thinking he could be an inventor. Stupid Zero forever in his ex-boyfriend's shadow..."

As if that weren't bad enough, Zero finds himself faced with a responsibility he downright hates. Fixing what his time machine broke. Or better said, sending a 20th century strange human back to the place and time from which his machine took him.
Logan has strange, dull clothing and bland hair, and when he opens his mouth, it gets worse. He’s afraid of everything, including Honey, Zero's best friend who is a Furist. And Zero hates him with a vengeance because, in just a matter of a few days, Logan managed to not only ruin his teleportation machine, but also get him fired and even bitten by his boss.

In short, 'Logan, the human from another time was ruining his life.' And the cherry on the top of the rotten bad luck cake?! Honey insists Logan was Zero's responsibility and that he had to send him back.

And that's what Zero sets out to do, while constantly trying to ignore Logan's talk of fake magic tricks, care and love. They all grate on Zero’s nerves because the forty-first century doesn't talk about love. Life-forms had a responsibility to only themselves and didn't quite care about others. Or so they say.

In short, at Honey's request, Zero tries to do the impossible - "stop being selfish and get Logan home." But, as time passes, Zero slowly starts to realize that success may not be the only thing that matters in life. If he acts on it however, that is another matter.

Zero's growth as a character was the highlight of this tale for me. His ups and downs and emotional rollercoaster as well as his slow discovery of not only love, but also all those other feelings of closeness, fondness and caring... They were all beautifully portrayed.

Honey and the rest of the Furists were absolutely intriguing and I loved the way animal features seamlessly blended with human ones within their build-up. Beautifully done.

Fast paced, nicely flowing and with a great little unexpected twist at the end, Love Logan is a light and engaging read that I found difficult to set down.

It would be a 5 star book as originality and plot goes. However, there were a couple of things that didn't quite work for me or felt lacking.
Logan himself didn't behave quite like a reasonable man from the twentieth century and I found it impossible to picture him as such. Both world and setting could have done with some more fleshing out and both society as well as sexual orientation of partners in the forty-first century seemed to be a bit too fast 'well received' by a twentieth century man.

All in all, Love Logan is a unique and endearing little tale that tugged on all my heartstrings. Because of Zero's inner turmoil and slow transformation, as well as Honey's cute innocence and charm.

If you're in a mood for a light, quick, charming and unique read, give this one here a chance.
It is truly lovely.

I don't really know where to start with this book, it was not what I expected.

You got Logan and Zero being the main characters with Honey close behind. Logan being pulled into Zero's world (and time, really), I get the confusion and hesitation at the beginning, but there was a lot of growth from both of them, and the love was.... Not sure how to put it into words. It was different since one of the men wasn't even familiar with what "Love" is. Can you imagine a world like that?
Zero was difficult to get used to until you remembered that he's not from our times and things are a lot different when he's from and this is how he grew up and had to love every day.
Logan, incredibly confused and is scared of the unknown, so let's face it, there's a lot to be scared about. But he's sweet, and so caring, and passionate about what and who he loves.

The plot was a quick flow. I got through it within a couple of days.

I wish there was more that Zero could have introduced Logan to. I wish we saw the world outside of the mission to get Logan back to his time, build a bit more on their connection, even with the time constraints they were facing.

I liked the book. Great work to Keyes, I will continue to look for more of her work.

Sadly, this book just wasn't my cup of tea.

The year is 4021. Parents send their children to other planets when they are 10 to start their adult lives. Your status is everything, and concepts like love and friendship do not exist.
Zero is a zero, he fails in everything he does and so the teleportation machine he is building in hope of becoming successful and famous (and proving his ex-boyfriend Apollo that he is better than him) turns out to be a time machine. A time machine that sucks in an unsuspecting 21-year-old Logan from 2021.

Logan is, of course, afraid of flying cars, 800-storey buildings, underground gardens and cat people, called Furists (I puked here a little) who walk upright and talk, and LICK PEOPLE ON THEIR CHEEKS instead of kissing them.

Logan also teaches Zero and Honey, the licking Furist, about things like love and magic, and so on.

Now, the characters, to me, seemed more like caricatures.
For example, Logan, a 21-year-old, stomps his foot on the ground in anger and cries when "magic" is called stupid. Zero throws a tantrum when mauve is refereed to as purple. And Honey LICKS PEOPLE ON THEIR CHEEKS.

As for the writing style, I felt like I was reading a script for a play, not a book. The language is so simplified that I'm sure I saw sentences like "Logan exits the stage" somewhere along the way.

The sad bunch that proofread this book seemed to have trouble staying in focus as well, since the book is full of typos and snakes kiss instead of hiss and so on. I don't blame them, I had a hard time staying on track too.

Now, there is one more thing that I'd really like to point out.
You guys know how we all shit on the books that have no LGBTQ relationships at all and where heterosexuals are made, not the standard, but only people that exist in the said book/world?
Well, this one is the opposite. There are no heterosexual relationships mentioned (except if you are provided a partner for the reproduction). There is even a moment that I found really... I don't even know how to call it, but it goes like this:
Logan (to Zero): Have you ever had a boyfriend or a girlfriend?
So, who looks at a guy he doesn't really know and just supposes his sexual orientation. We didn't do that, people!

Overall, the idea was good and all, but I didn't like the execution.

I absolutely adored this book, it is set in the 41st century and it has everything flying cars, planets different islands high up buildings all the way to the 800th floor and counting. the world the author has built is so unique and different. This book follows Zero and how he just wants to succeed and be known for something and when his teleportation machine goes wrong and ends up being a time machine he has alot more to worry about than succeeding now he has Logan who came through his portal and is from the 21is century,

Zero has no idea what Logan talks about when he talks about love or anything from the 21is century and it amazes him but also confuses him. He has no idea what love is or if he enjoys the though of it. That is until Logan teaches him what is it is. it was so sweet and moving, Zero and Logan are a very sweet ship and i love them both so much.

The writing was very sweet and beautiful, it was a very light and quick read and i recommend it to eveyryone. its got magic and a very unique world, You will fall in love with Zero and Logan and their love story, it was very moving and the ending is just what they needed, I am so happy i gave this book a chance and
I hope you guys do too.
