One late night, Scarlet and her family receive news that her brother, Max, has died. It instantly turns her world upside down. On the outside and at school, Royal Eastwood High, she's what every girl wants to be, but on the inside, she's suffocating from the loss of her brother.

Every school has a bad boy and that's Elijah's role at Royal Eastwood High. Besides getting called a freak and bullied by Jack and his group, he is also struggling to cope with the loss of his brother. As Scarlet and Elijah grow closer to each other, secrets and feelings begin to unravel.

The character growth in the book was great. I found Elijah admirable because of his self-control. Even though he was a fighter, he never picked a fight with Jack when he made fun of him. Instead, he just ignored him and didn't show that he was bothered.

Fight For Her was action-packed and fast-paced. The unexpected twists and turns kept me guessing and I finished the book super quickly, it only took me a couple of hours. It was a very good quick read that kept me interested. I'm definitely interested in reading other works by the author!
