Bishop Jakes, by many, is regarded as a great orator. So, him presenting a book focused on communication and its importance was highly valued. Overall, I believe Don’t Drop The Mic provides key pieces in boosting one’s ability to speak and the importance of knowing when one should be quiet. Thank you to FaithWords for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

There is just something about T.D. Jakes. His words are always inspirational to me and this book does not differ. Some people have complete fear of public speaking and others may get nervous but can make it through. Whichever ever person you identify with, this book will still give you pointers and motivation on speaking with a Christian outlook on it. Jakes also refers to other famous people and how there speeches and interviews can be dissected. If you have any interest of being a better communicator-this is the book for you.

I'm an introvert and not really big on public speaking. This book gives pretty good tips for anyone who is or is not a fan of public speaking. Using examples from the Bible, as well as from his personal life, Bishop gives practical, useful and helpful advice to guide people in to communicating better with others.
