I am reviewing a copy of My Cup Runneth Over: Everyday Blessings and Devotions for Women through Barbour Books and Netgalley:

In my Cup Runneth Over it is pointed out that every day God gifts us his wonders , blessings, peace and promises. But to often we focus on the ugliness in the world instead of the goodness!

We are reminded too that God has been blessing his creation from the beginning of time. Not only does God bless us, but he provides for us as well!

Rest is one of the blessings God has given us. We are blessed with words, the words in the Psalms, the Proverbs, the new and Old Testaments. We are reminded too of the importance of focusing less on stuff, and more on God.

This devotions reminds us too that we serve a God of second chances. He has given us second chances. We are reminded too that nothing is to hard for God.

My Cup Runneth over reminds us that we need to honor God above all. We are reminded too that life can be more than difficult at times, but God is always faithful, even in the midst of our struggles.

A Cup Runneth over reminds us to be encouraged and strengthened in the Lord. We are reminded too that God appreciates laughter, he has a sense of humor. We are reminded too that God wants us to be able to relax as well.

We are encouraged to listen, to wait and to watch. We are also encouraged to, to be contended in our faith.

I give my Cup Runneth Over five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

Fantastic book. Spoke to me, and was informative.

Thanks to publisher and NetGalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

A challenge to relook at and reconsider your many blessings. An invitation to shift your gaze from the broken, cursed and sinful components that steal our joy. My Cup Runneth Over is written towards woman to remind them of the good, beautiful blessings that surround us. Each entry is inspired by a passage of Scripture, a reflection to draw out the main ideas and a suggested prayer. A great devotional or gift for someone who is committed to focusing on the blessings in their life.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own, freely given.

This is a beautiful book, it features these adorable floral designs throughout that really captivate the reader to the page. The blessings mentioned throughout are also wonderful, I loved sitting down with my morning tea and getting started with my day by reading these blessings!! I would definitely buy this book as a gift for friends as it has really changed my outlook in the morning, especially during these troubling times!

My Cup Runneth Over by Donna K. Maltese is an inspired devotional directly for women. The 108 devotions are centered on the themes of gratitude to help us recognize the wonders, blessings, peace and promises from our God. In the world today when we are so caught up in all the burdens we carry, this book is a great reminder to take some time to reflect on the love God has for us.

The book format is fantastic. For each topic we are given a scripture, a short story or interpretation, and a prayer to request God to grant us help to apply the principle more fully.

You are also provided wide margins and in some cases space at the end of the page to reflect upon the ideas shared and come up with your own strategies to impact your life. The topics were current and dealt with issues that WOMEN face. Some especially helpful devotions for me were Be Still with God (Psalm 46:10), According to Plan (Jeremiah 29:11), and The Power of Thoughts (Proverbs 23:7).

This devotional is perfect for anyone looking for a little boost or even just a different way to worship. Your soul will truly be nourished, and peace can be achieved, as you take stock of where you are and do the work to get to where you want to be. It would also make an excellent gift.

I was provided a free advance reader copy from Barbour Publishing, Inc. in exchange for my honest review on Net Galley. The opinions shared in this review are my own.
