Connell Barrett was a 38-year old guy with no dating prospects and terrible sense of self worth. Two years later, he became a dating coach with more notches on his bedpost than he ever thought possible. His trick? No tricks. Really. Dating Sucks, but You Don’t is one part dating guide, one part self-help book. Both sides of the equation boil down to one simple axiom for men: You are enough. You can dispense with all the sleazy pickup lines and crazy games. You don’t need them.

This book gives men everything they need to stride right up to a woman in the street, in the club, or a Tinder profile and approach her for a date. Regardless of what you’re looking for from the fairer sex (one night stand to committed loving partnership), I recommend this book. Don’t skip the chapters on getting in touch with your feminine side or how to handle intimacy in the #MeToo era. They will help.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Received from Netgalley.
