Easy, breezy rom-com with very cute romance between Julia and Aaron.
There was the chemistry and connection from the very beginning. Overall, I really enjoyed their journey. The ending was so sweet.

I had never heard of this author before and will definitely be looking for more books from Jennifer Bardsley!

Right away, I enjoyed the characters and wanted to know where the story would take them. The town of Harper Landing really came to life throughout the story as well, I could see myself vacationing there and visiting all of the stores around town. It was a joy following Julia, Aaron, Jack, and all of the other supporting characters along on their journey. Would love to see this as series!

This one is a very sweet romance between Julia and Aaron and, let's face it, Jack. Jack does steal the show at times. Story is slow paced and has everyday life situations in it. Story is focused around Julia and Aaron dealing with their issues from their past which mainly involves family. Ending is satisfying.

I loved this book rom beginning to the end. It’s about a small town woman with little self esteem. She learns to stand up for herself and she falls in love. She makes me want to stand up more for myself. She is the hero in this book. Definitely recommend this book

This was such a moving and adorable read. I really enjoyed the characters as individuals, with all of theirs past traumas and how they dealt with them, and their quirks. Julia is one of the sweetes female characters that I've met, and Aaron is a perfect book boyfriend that everyone dreams about. I immensely enjoyed the romance and secondary characters as well. The dialogue and the pacing of the plot made it easy to read. This is definitely the book that will make you feel lighter and help you to take your mind off things.

Sweet Bliss is the perfect book to take you to a small waterfront town. You have a town hero that has self esteem issues that seemed to have followed her from her past. She finds comfort in a new resident of this adorable little town, who is also looking for comfort from a tragic event that has changed his whole world. While this book was simple, it is the perfect distraction from the real world. I actually left wanting more of Julia’s story.

Welcome to Harper Landing, almost an only home known to Julia Harper, owner of frozen yogurt shop and a newly pup who almost drowns in cold sea if it wasn’t for Aaron Baxter. He is ex owner of very successful paleo business and uncle-daddy to his late sister and best friend baby Jack. He moves from California to this small town, where his baby Jacks’ grandparents live. He hopes that this place will give him and his new baby a real home and sense of belonging for which his sister and he craved as a children. He did not expected to fell for gorgeous, kind and loving owner of Sweet Bliss. But will she allowed herself to be loved? And will he?

I just love romantic stories, small and tight communities where people help and rely on each other. For me this was easy read, cute and warming. I prefer darker love stories, but this was a nice break from that. Happy reading to all.

- There is a lot attention in product placement that drew me away from the story.
- I understand that Arron is an expert in his field but he felt too uptight.
-I try to visualize the conversations in the book but it felt very choppy, like it doesn't flow like a real conversation would flow.

-i enjoyed the quirks in the characters
-how close the town is with each other.
-i enjoyed seeing the relationship come together.

Following a tragic accident, Aaron Baxter is left as guardian to his infant nephew, Jack. Wanting a normal life for Jack, Aaron moves them from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley in California to the small town of Harper Landing, Washington. With the help of Jack’s grandparents, he and Aaron settle into the town nicely. Soon after arriving, Aaron meets Julia Harper- the town’s owner. Julia is in the midst of balancing the work load of running her own frozen yogurt shop, Sweet Bliss, handling the mess of properties her late mother left to her, and attempting to train her adorable, but naughty, chocolate lab. Both Aaron and Julia have faced tragedy’s in the past year, but can their blooming connection help them begin to heal?

I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did! Sweet Bliss pulled me out of my reading slump really fast! I completely fell in love with not only Aaron, Jack, and Julia, but also with Harper Landing. This is the perfect light hearted read, with a wonderful balance of tragedy, conflict, and love. I can’t wait for this book to be published soon so I can start recommending it to everyone!

P.S.- this would be a wonderful start to a series!!

A delightful romance highlighting how love and loss can bring out the best in people. Harper Landing is a charming setting that reminds me in many ways of my own hometown. The characters and the town represent American ideals of entrepreneurship, loyalty, community, and kindness. A fast and fun read from beginning to end that readers will be able to relate to on a number of levels. I look forward to reading the next installment in the Harper Landing series, Good Catch, to see where Bardsley will take her characters and the wonderful close-knit community she has created.

This is the first time reading this author and this story is so cute! I loved it!

Julia is a prominent figure in her community, but there's one tenant who doesn't like her. She struggles with self-worth after being raised by a mother who belittled her. Though her parents are gone, she's still under that influence.

Aaron moved to Harper Landing after his sister and best friend, who were married to each other, died in a car crash, and they left their baby to his care. He's struggling to misplaced guilt and caring for the baby.

Aaron and Julia are just what the other needs and their friendship quickly grows to something more.

It's a clean romance and I liked the writing style.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
