I enjoyed reading this story to my children. They had fun also reading the picture while I read the words. It was a fun read-a- long story with 3 different stories within. The illustrations were quite colorful and fun to look at.

I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinions.

He didn’t like his room, so off he went searching for a better one, only to find reasons they wouldn’t do.
A quirky little book with activities around every corner. It’s fun and educational, playful, with vibrantly colorful illustrations. A beautiful little quirky package, any child would enjoy reading, or parents would love reading to their child.

This is a rebus reader and an activity all in one. It was lots of fun and reminded me of Highlights magazine. Very nostalgic.

My four year old granddaughter enjoyed this book. It is made up of three different stories where Little Fox has a different adventure. After each of the stories there is a puzzle or a game. My granddaughter thought it was great that she could "read" with grandma using the pictographs that replaced words in the story. Each story is well written, easy to follow, fun and interactive. It offers a fun engaging way to learn new vocabulary, as the mission of the book is to focus on language development. The illustrations were okay, but they could have been better making this book great instead of just good. This would be a great book to use in pre-school and early primary classrooms. It was a great book to share while doing virtual learning and home schooling. We read it over three days, during our story time and it worked well.

I read this book with my three year old daughter and she really enjoyed pointing out the different animals in the story, she is a massive fan of wildlife so it was a big hit with her.

There are three stories in the book so we were able to enjoy the book over a few nights too which gave her something she really looked forward too at bedtime.

The stories were well written, easy to follow and fun - and I loved that she was able to interact with the stories too so it was an educational read and that as a mum made it tick all the boxes I look for when purchasing a book for her.

It is 5 stars from me for this one - we really enjoyed it - very highly recommended!

Little Fox Playing in the Forest.

Adventure not only for little fox but for your kiddos as well. This engaging book focuses on visual learning and reading. Your 2 or 3 year old can read along with key words replaced with pictures. There are 3 stories in this adventure and after each story there is a puzzle or game. With a combination of learning styles, your child will not even know they are learning. Makes learning fun and want to learn more.

A Special Thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

Cute little hands on book that’s followed the little fox. The forest friends were adorable to read about. My child enjoyed being able to find the “picture words” in the illustrations.

A recommended book for small children in need of developing their vocabulary, as well as their visual and short-term memory. The illustrations are lovely and my 5yo son loved it. It´s also recommended for using it as an English teaching book for the first grade. In addition, it can be a good lockdown activity book for children with love for animals and forest life in general.

Several short stories about a fox and friends. There were some cute aspects. The stories are divided by little tasks to do between stories (count the animals, match the animals). It might be a little more advanced for the recommended age.

This interactive delightful board book is perfect for toddlership ( I think I just made up that word ) and beyond. It offers a fun engaging way to learn new vocabulary. The mission of the book is to focus on language development. A fun aspect is that pictographs are inserted throughout so little ones can help "read" along too.

The book consists of three simple stories that follow the adventures of Little Fox. The stories include Little Fox trying to find a comfy place to sleep, helping Rabbit think of a birthday present for his friend hog, and saving Squirrel from the danger of a deep puddle. At the end of each story the author has added a matching or labeling activity to keep the readers involved.

The illustrations are very well done. They are colourful, busy and the animals depicted are adorable. The amazing detail will be a hit with that targeted age group. This book will definitely be a great book for beginning readers. I highly recommend it.

Little Fox, Playing in the Forest by Marja Baeten is a wonderful book for beginning readers. It contains three simple stories about Little Fox and his forest friends. The stories contain picture icons throughout which help preschoolers and early readers participate in reading the story. There are also little games and activities scattered throughout the book that children will enjoy completing as they read the stories. As a classroom teacher, this would be good to let young readers practice reading independently to help build confidence, learn new words, and help build fluency.

What a fun little book! This book consists of three stories that follow the adventures of Little Fox. I loved the inclusion of the pictographs to help young readers decode some of the words. Each story ends with a quick activity to keep readers engaged after the story. Definetly a great book for young people learning to read
