Interesting perspective on trauma. I can see how some parts of the book can be triggering for some. Read with caution

I had to put this book down halfway through. Even though the author had some good advice at points, eventually I felt uncomfortable with what I would call "toxic" statements. I didn't feel like it was good for my mental health to continue, and if someone like myself who went through traumatic events as well, it might be a bit upsetting to them. I do understand bits of what the author was trying to say in certain parts in the beginning. However, those parts did not make up for what I eventually read and would not recommend to others.
