I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Willing by Leslie Morris Noyes had lots going on, from meeting Liz and finding out how her life is going and the rut she seems to be in, to how she copes with the changes going on in her life. This was a long read, and while some parts were really good, others needed to be more concise. The story line was interesting and while I did like it, I found that it took some time to get into the story itself, but once committed I enjoyed it. I would recommend this book to others.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book for an honest opinion.

This one was very hard to get into and when I finally did commit to sitting down with it whole heartedly, it was no longer available so I did not finish. Thank you #Netgalley for the opportunity.

I received an ARC of this novel from Blender Publishing via Netgalley in exchange for my review. The first part of this novel was so cheesy and awful that I barely finished it, but I stuck with it and it ended way better than it started. I would do so serious editing to this story because there are good story lines it is just overly dramatic and I felt it made single women in their 40's look like the only way you can have a relationship is by following so strange code for your behavior. As the story stands-not my favorite.

An interesting story. The heroine is older, divorced and sexually experienced. We learn about her romantic history. The passionate scenes are detailed and well written. Lizbeth has an encounter with her best friends son and an old friend. Darius suggests that she should find some hot weather over the winter and sets her up with his friend Kit. Kit's a widower who has his own demons. I disliked Kit's southern drawl 'dahling' and as Liz worked through her own needs I was in two minds about whether Kit deserved her!

The story is long and we learn about photography, jewish religion, Art dec antiques and Obi the poodle along the way. I will definely look out for this author again.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow. This book has a LOT going on. The premise is good, and I do like the story itself but my gripe is that it is way too long and needs some major editing. It is very choppy and difficult to follow at times due to the narration as well. Beyond that I really did like it and was rooting for Liz. All opinions are my own and thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

This was relatable on so many levels. I feel like this book is my life now, in some aspects. Hookups with guys of any age, to keep it fresh but not letting them know who you are for fear of disappointment and or getting hurt. One day Liz meets someone that makes her begin to question the rules she has put in place. Why? For how long? You will have to read yourself.

This is not what I expected but it was a decent read. I would read more by this author in the future. Recommended.

It's always hard when a connection between reader and book is not happening.
I thought this story's idea was interesting enough when I requested this book. But perhaps I was not the reader the author had in mind. It's not frequent that I leave a book without finishing it, but it's what happened in this case.
I wish the author good luck with other readers.
Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I think there comes a time in our life when we tend to look back and try to figure out why we did what we did and how we can improve ourselves. This book takes a look at a woman in her mid-40s as we follow her day by day as she comes to grips with who she is today.

It’s one thing to be identified as a divorcee, a mom, but a middle-age sexual woman who may or may not be looking for a long-term commitment is something different. This author dives into a lot of the psychoanalysis that we tend to do as we try to figure out who we are.

Liz loves men, men of all ages. In her story we find that we’re inside of her head as she tries to figure out how to get past a broken heart and find the one who was made just for her. It is so relatable!

This is a very long book and I feel that some of it seriously could’ve been trimmed as we are diving into her inner most thoughts. The book really picked up in the middle half and on as she met the most wonderful guy who was just a dreamboat and a beautiful match but with issues to overcome.

The author created a wonderful connection between the two and even though there are trials and tribulations, we did have a lovely ending. Although I do have to say I really wish we would’ve got more of the happy ending. An epilogue; something. To me, that would’ve been the icing!

Willing is a coming of age story in a sense. Coming-of-age into our middle-age when we start figuring things out; learning how to let go and be happy. The story had beautiful imagery, a perfect amount of heat, and fun! Plus, a few things that will make you go wow. You go, Liz!
