I love every book that Kristen Ashley writes and this is no exception. This is the third book of four and it had so much information in it. This book was about Axl and Hattie and boy did they have some chemistry. We had suspense, romance and entertainment in thos one. It kind of brought me back to the Rock Chick Series. It was definitely a 5-star read.

Let's start off with Axl Pantera - what a kick ass name! And he's everything and that - he's sweet, protective and knows what he wants and that is Hattie Yates!

We've meet Hattie, the quiet friend, who dances professional, but also has a secret talent as an artist. She's been keeping Axl at a distant, but when some weirdo starts to send Hattie creepy messages, Axl steps in.

These two are so cute, their chemistry is off the chart. He's so protective over Hattie, you just couldn't help fall for Axl at every turn of the page. And being back with all the past characters from Hawk and Lee's crew was a bonus and added more drama and mystery to the storyline. But I will say, Cleo, is my favorite side character of all - meow!

Ms. Ashley does it again with this series, every time I open up a book (ok, turn on my Kindle) of hers, I can't put it down and once I finish, she leaves me wanting more with the next book and series!

This was a cool read. I liked the characters and the themes that the story interrogated; the complicated and sometimes toxic relationships between family members, and how that can spill over into romantic relationships.
I also loved the female friendships and how supportive they were of each other. Even the friendships between the men were mature and supportive as well. There were some things that I could have done without, like the alpha male posturing, and the mansplaining in some instances, but overall I enjoyed story.

I can never get enough of Kristen Ashley's writing, it's like visiting one of my favourite places every time I pick up a new read from a KA world.

Dream Spinner has that alpha heat, the possessiveness and protectiveness that I love in all of KA's heroes. Her heroines are stubborn to a fault but I love that about them. With all the sexiness, suspense and throw in a little bit of humour and I'm a happy girl.

I loved Axl's persistence to break down the walls that Hattie has put up. He drives her to recognize her worth and it's one of those stories that bring you the sweet with the saucy. Just the way I love it.

Not my first read by the author and you know I have been a fan since the early 2010's that said this will be really hard for me to write out but I am always honest in my reviews and I feel like by now the more emotion I have into this the worse it gets for me when I am not clicking with a book.

This book THIS SERIES has been a hard one for me to be able to read, maybe because I am so used to the OG writing and the style that this NEW to me style contains my personal preference triggers. This book specifically with the heroine and hero, other men, other woman, I disliked everything about this book but especially the heroine. To me she was tiresome, simple as that I couldn't click with her, her direction, her style, her words which somehow irritated me to the core. I'm used to KA's style of heroine's sometimes in some book being with other characters or vise versa but this book just rubbed me the wrong way. God I can't believe I am going to say this but it stretched out TOO LONG for me, the feelings and thoughts, too much. I really want to get into details but I also do not want to spoil it. I appreciate NETGALLEY for providing me my ARC but I will stay away from anymore in this series and carefully chose books next time, sadly. I am disappointed because I know someone will read this and say I am over dramatic about it but when you love an author and their previous books as in I've re-read them at least 25 times in the years each one, it IS emotional to me to come across a book that shatters you. That said, I do wish the author as always best of luck and the book but this was just not for me. p.s. I did DNF this at 60%.

Kristen Ashley does some of the best character pairings and Hattie and Axl are proof of that. They were amazing together and I really loved how we got to see them work through their issues together. It wasn't easy for them to finally be together but the journey that got them to that point was so fun to read. I easily fell in love with them both when they were on their own and adored them even more when they were together.

There was definitely a good dose of drama in this book but it was done so well and kept the book very interesting. It also brought some other characters to focus, some that we've already seen get their HEA's and some that I am now dying to know more about. Overall, I can't wait to get my hands on KA's next book and while I wait I see some re-reads in my future.

I’ve really been enjoying this series, and this book was just a little less so than the others.
Hattie and Axl were an excellent match for one another, but this one felt a little more bland, a little more low energy than the others.
The overall plot arc of the entire series continues to carry here, but as far as real development between these two, I just didn’t feel it. There was also less involvement of the girl gang, which for me is usually the best parts of these, but was definitely an emptier spot here than in others of the series. Part of that can be contributed to the characters, but even after, there just wasn’t as much from them, which I was really missing.
Overall, this wasn’t a bad read, and I’m definitely going to be continuing on this journey.

Between Axl, Hattie and the rest of the gang, theres a bit of everything in this story. Heat, action, mystery, tragedy (past issues), and compassion. Loved seeing cameos. Keep them coming and I look forward to more!

I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Hattie Yates grew up with a overbearing father. Nothing was ever good enough. Axel Pantera had his own issues with his dad so he can relate. When Axel sees Hattie hurting herself he decides it's time to wade in and get Hattie to let him help. I loved these two they lift each up in so many ways. When she gets a stalker Hawk and all the boys are in to help out. This series a spin off of the Rock chick series so you can count characters from that series to show up along with the chaos boys. You need a good block of time to start reading this book because you are not going to want to put it down.

Dream Spinner is a great addition to the series! I really enjoyed this novel. Axl is another absolute swoon worthy alpha. The kind that knows what he wants. And that’s Hattie. He’s known from the start that she is it for him and he isn’t giving up. Hattie views herself as damaged goods, to save everyone from harm, she needs to keep her distance. But she has a posse and a gorgeous hunk of hotness who refuse to give up on her. The trip to their HEA will be filled with drama, steam, suspense, and laughter.

I liked Axel and Hattie. Each has their flaws and issues to overcome, but together they equal perfection. He was the protector providing the unconditional love she desperately needed. Hattie proved she could weather his storms and give him the calm he needed. Together they champion each other’s best assets.

“The compliments I share with you aren’t a means to an end except to remind you of who you are.”

One thing these two never had to work on was their hot off the charts chemistry!

“That kiss said we had now, and tomorrow and the next day, and week, and years and years besides. It was a kiss that said this was our beginning, and there might never be an end.”

SWOON!

Kristen Ashley creates groups of characters that bond together creating a family that sticks like glue. Each is a multi-layered character you love and are eager to discover the gem hidden within the layers of their multiple shields. The story plots are sometimes similar, but are always enjoyable and truly captivating. I appreciate how she includes animals and supporting characters to offer light-hearted balance to her stories.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and eagerly await the next book in the series!

I’m always excited when there is a new KA book coming out. This one hit the mark!!

Hattie is shy and has been retreating even from her girl posse. She has not had a good home life growing up and doesn’t think she’s good enough.

Axl hasn’t had the best life growing up with a overbearing father.
Together these two damaged souls come together to make each other complete.

“I get you’re a commando and all, but just so I know for future reference, do commandos need to pin women to their couches in order to share things they think are important?”

Alpha male commando and the shy stripper. What a perfect combination.

The Dream Team series is one of the most addictive I’ve ever read. As soon as one book ends, I’m jonesing for another! I don’t think I’ve had this much fun since Rock Chick! I SIMPLY CANNOT GET ENOUGH and hope the series continues beyond the next book.

Dream Spinner was everything I wanted it to be and more! Axl Pantera, with his ice blue eyes and silver hair intrigued me from the very first book. I wanted to know everything about what made him tick. And don’t even get me started on Hattie. After reading Dream Chaser, I felt so much for her and hoped her HEA was everything she deserved. I’m happy to report that it was!

Here’s what I loved:
I’m a creature of habit. If an author writes what I love, I will go back time and again for more. And that’s exactly what this series gives me. I’m comfortable in the knowledge that the characters will be well written, multi-dimensional, and while they may screw up occasionally, they never stop loving unconditionally. This formula works so very well and I’m completely addicted to it.

Axl and Hattie are super sweet and oh so cute, but the steamy bits were hot and spicy! Their interactions were so good. I think they’re my new favorite couple.

As with most of KA’s recent novels, there’s a good amount of crossover and the reader will see characters from previous books. This is one of my favorite aspects of the books! It’s like snuggling up with your close friends for a nice relaxing weekend. That’s definitely a welcome occurrence during this pandemic.

The overall progression of the story - I’m so pleased with Brett’s path. God I hope he gets a book soon!

Admittedly, some of the action, or lack thereof confused me towards the end, I’m still 100% all in and waiting with bated breath to see how the things finally play out. But I was left at the end with a a few unanswered questions. I’m hoping that’s just a symptom of the overarching story playing out across multiple books.

So, all in all, a stellar read from a phenomenal author. This series is a Top 2021 Fave!

4.5 stars

I am a huge fan of this author. There is just something special about the way that she writes. I was excited for this new edition to the Dream team because I had high hopes that it would offer a fresher version of the Rock Chicks. In a way that is true and in a way it isn't since there are so many cameo appearances of characters from Rock Chicks and Chaos. I like that in a way but at times I also wish that there was more of a chance to just be with this group of friends. However, even though there are a lot of cameos (this time more with the guys from those books than the women), the author has done a good job at creating a storyline that is ongoing throughout all the books. Moreover, it is a storyline that makes sense to have all the past characters come back.

Since the first novella introducing Lottie and Mo, I have been excited for each of the girls, or her tribe per see, to have their story told. There was something interesting about each of the characters. Even if they didn't have a huge starring role the author made sure to present them in a way that made them special. That was definitely the case with Hattie. In the last book, Hattie had a major scene that was pivotal and a little heartbreaking. I looked forward to finding out her story which I was able to do in this book. From the get-go, it was known that Hattie and Axl would be together. What wasn't known was how that story would go. I liked that in this book the story of them being a couple came with such growth because they had a similar experience when it came to their upbringing. It was nice to see that they could bond over that. I liked how they balanced each other out and I loved the way that Axl loved her and visa versa.

However, at the same time, I wished for more in the resolution of the relationships that they had in common. I would have liked to see some closure in regards to one of those (even though it was pretty definitely final) because it felt like something was missing from it. The other relationship that needed mending did so without any real apology directly to the person that I felt should have had it. I wanted an explanation from the horse's mouth as to why he behaved the way that he did. I needed that to gauge if he really was sincere in where they were at, today, and how they would be in the future. All that aside, I enjoyed that there is an ongoing storyline that is woven into each book. Similar to the Chaos series where they had a common threat. It ensures that I have to read the next book to get the mystery solved while I also get the chance to read a standalone in an interconnected series.

That being said, this was still another great book from this author. It showed, again, that there is a reason that she is so successful and why I tend to reread her books several times a year.

How does this fantastic series just keep getting better!?!? Dream Spinner is the third installment in the Dream Team series and I promise you if you haven’t read this series, you’re missing out! Dream Spinner centers around Hattie and Axl—I really liked both characters in previous novels and was so excited to finally get their story!

KA always writes such amazing characters and I always knew Hattie and Axl would make an amazing couple, but Hattie was initially not having it and tried to keep the walls around her heart intact. That is until some craziness happens and who is there to be her knight in shining armour!?! That’s right...Axl!! I completely loved all KA had planned for this dynamic duo! Dream Spinner is a 5 star novel that has the perfect blend of romance, mystery/suspense, and women’s fiction! Seriously, there is not a single dull moment —so darn addictive! As per usual, I am already daydreaming about the next book in this MUST READ series! If you’re looking for a novel to entirely escape with, I highly recommend Dream Spinner!

I have read almost every Kristen Ashley book she has written and I enjoyed Dream Spinner a lot. It is a good story with great characters and just the right amount of humor, action, drama, love and emotion.

Dream Spinner follows Hattie and Axl. This is the third book in the Dream Team series. Hattie and Axl both have family issues that they deal with in this story. I loved getting to visit with a lot of my favorite KA men from past books! Kristen Ashley always knows how to bring back her characters from past books which I love.

I am looking forward to Aug and Pepper’s story! Overall it was a great book!

Thank you NetGalley and Forever Publishing for giving me the chance to read this advanced copy of this story

I love Kristen Ashley and these books just make my life when I get a chance to read. The story just continues seamlessly from title to title. Hattie and Axl's relationship has been a long time coming and it was great to see a guy not give up and a girl step up. As usual, there were laughs and a time or two of tears. I can't wait to see Aug and Pepper...and I hope they are next!
