I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This is one of those stories just by the description you know is going to be a wild ride. I was impressed at how strong Moira was and how she handled herself in the grand scheme of things. She gains confidence and skills to keep her and her sisters safe. She is training to be a ninja even as her uncle is trying to take the company her father build after he disappears. It would be a lot of anyone that young to deal with. There were moments that had my heart racing that I could not turn the pages fast enough to find out what happened.

The Mackenzie sisters, daughters of a Scottish billionare and Japanese mother, have recently lost their father in a plane crash. The expected outcome was that their uncle, or mother's brother, would inherit the family company, and the girls would have stocks in it to secure them for the rest of their lives. However, for some mysterious reason, their father changed the will a month before his death to say that the company would instead be passed on to his middle child, Moira. Naturally, their uncle, Uncle Jiro gets more than a little upset, resorting to all kinds of means to get the company. After one of Uncle Jiro's incidents, the girls' grandmother shows up, saving them and teaching them the way of the ninja, which they soon find beneficial in more ways than expected.

Mindy, the eldest, is bullied and often lands in trouble with administration due to her antics. Moira, the middle child, is the maternal figure, doing her best to keep both the company and her family afloat. And Marci, the youngest, is a computer prodigy, who is years beyond her age in intelligence. And while the three may have their disagreements and sibling rivalry, they're also so close and protective of each other in a way only sisters can be. Delightfully, heartwarmingly, beautiful, Ninja Girl Adventures is a book meant for those that love familial bonds and, of course, ninjas.

While I did love this book, I will say that it took me a long time to separate the three sisters. Moira naturally feels like she should be the eldest, and, in addition, I kept confusing her with Mindy at the beginning. I feel like perhaps Moira would make a better older sister and Mindy the middle. But apart from the confusion in the first few chapters, the book turned out absolutely beautifully!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the copy!

P.S. I hope the next book comes out soon! ;)

Ninja girl adventures is the first book in the series and is a fast paced and thrilling read. There is a strong female protagonist who is 14 years old and is placed right in the middle of a fall out ninja war. This is an action packed read that I would recommend to someone like my younger sister who enjoys these qualities in a book and is young herself.

This is a story of three sister who recently lost their father. We watch them navigate the world without a parent and come out of the dark place while working together as a team.

I liked the moments where the sisters all came together. They don't have anything in common and yet as the story moves forward we watch them bond over being Ninjas.

I expected a little more sibling moments than what we see in this book to be honest. I wish more work was done on their relationships because it felt unrealistic at times.

No one really seemed to care about the fact that Moira is only thirteen years old and they just start treating her like an adult? Her "older" sister Mindy was afraid of what Moira would say if she got in trouble. Well no on except perhaps her evil uncle Jiro.

If we can look past that the story in itself is filled with many great themes and Ninja training.

The final showdown that the entire book was leading up to made it worth the wait.

This book ends with a cliffhanger.

After Moira's father, Stephen Mackenzie, mysteriously disappears, his company is inherited by Moira. They meet their maternal grandmother, Aiko, who along with Uncle Mort, must defend their father's company from their Uncle Jiro who is trying to claim inheritance rights for his own greed. Moira learns that ninjas do exist and she comes from long line of the remaining ones. Aiko, a member of a Koga ninja clan of Kunoichi—a female ninja, starts to train Moira after Uncle Jiro's ninjas attack the girls and Uncle Mort at their house.

Moira then takes what she learns and teaches her sisters, Mindy and Marci. All three girls have been struggling since their fathers death, but now with the nine rules all ninjas follow, it helps them not only as a ninja but also in everyday life.

This book was an easy read and it kept me on my toes throughout it. The characters were fun to read about especially Moira, Mindy, and Marci. I found the three girls relatable when they were dealing with their everyday problems.

I thought ending with the Christmas celebration was a nice touch to bringing the family together. The ending with the cliffhanger left me like whoaa, and I can't wait to read the next book!
