This short story seems so absurd that you just have to love it! The protagonist is hilariously rude and obnoxious, although I'm not sure I would agree with the premise of the title. I really enjoyed this action-packed story and would recommend it to anyone who loves mysteries, thrillers or just a good laugh.

A short story that is NOT short on story. When Jeffery Deaver develops a serial killer, he is as different as he is obnoxious. Deaver quickly escalated the killer's actions, insuring there are no questions when the police set a trap to catch him. A quick read that will definitely have you looking for more stories by Jeffery Deaver.

Turning Point by Jeffrey Deaver is a short thriller, meaning it is a novella, not a novel. Nothing too spectacular, but a fairly easy read..

A short story that was so well written, I'm wishing it was longer, so I could enjoy it more! Jeffery has been one of my most favorite authors since forever and once again he doesn't disappoint! Recommended.

Turning Point by Jeffrey Deaver is very much a Jeffry Deaver work. Easy to read but not not easy to anticipate. This one dealing with the Russian Doll Killer is a case in point. As will all his works, enjoy it.

I did not realize that this was a short story, and I was fully immersed after the first page. I read the whole thing in one sitting, totally enjoying the plot. When it came to an abrupt end and I realized there was no more I actually cried out because I wasn’t ready to stop! Seaver never fails to disappoint, but we need more full length books!

I enjoyed this book so very much. It was fun, thrilling, a perfect mind-blasting mystery and one of my favourite author’s work of art.
I have enjoyed Jeffery’s work in the past and I am always a fan of how much he delivers in such a short page count. Obviously, as it is a short book, the story gets a little confusing in the beginning because it has no space to build the plot as compared to large books but that’s the whole point of his books. He puts a mystery in the mystery of a mystery. You get me, right? Never mind, it’s confusing for me too!
I enjoyed this book. It was a short one-seating book with twists and turns on every page you flip. It is a mysterious mystery and I can’t stop recommending it. It was a bit more confusing in the first 40% of the book but as the story developed every piece of the puzzle fall into its place and bam! Enters Jeffery!
The ending of the book was super amazing and I give it a 4-star rating and highly recommend it to all the mystery lovers out there.

Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review.

I’m a fan of crime fiction and also of Jeffrey Deaver. This book definitely delivered. The Russian Doll Killer is on the loose and evading capture. The cat and mouse story follows you down a common storyline before you get to a twisty finish that you won’t see coming. Enjoyable and fast paced— I definitely recommend this one for lovers of this genre.

Short, sharp read. What it lacks in length and detail, it makes up for in originality.

3.5 Hearts This is a very short story only about 60 pages. I have been a fan of Deaver for a number of years and I liked this story as much as her usual novels. There is a lot in these few pages. Killers and Detective Neville’s family in danger at one point and leaving Russian Stacking Dolls.

Because this is so short it is almost like Deaver had this story in his mind but it just wasn’t going anywhere so he gave us a short story between novels.

Worth the read.
