A great introduction to self-help and mindset work.

I had first heard the phrase "Be The Thermostat" from Ed Mylett and he had a slightly different take on it.
I found author's perspective interesting and how she explains the concept.

This was an introduction to mindset and I would recommend it to someone who is just getting started working on mindset.
This is an easy read and felt like more like a chat.

I'm so grateful to BooksGoSocial, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

For the past 5 years, I spent a lot of time working on my mindset and developing a positive non-toxic attitude towards life that's why when I found this book on Netgalley I didn't think twice before getting it. Sadly, this book did not meet my expectations. First, it did not teach me anything new. This might not be the book's problem but mine. Maybe it's about time that I stop reading this type of books because I almost know everything about these topics and the books are starting to repeat themselves. That's why I still think that this book might be a good introduction for people who have never read self developement books before. Second, I didn't like the format this book was written in. Although it looked cool at first sight, I felt like sometimes the chapter's idea did not need all those breakdowns. Sometimes it was so repetitive and it made me feel that some pages were just there to fit into the format of the book (those who read the book will understand what I am saying). Other than that, there is a lot of mistakes and I am someone who gets easily distracted by that. Overall, it was a decent experience and I have no regrets.

This book felt like a friendly one sided advice session which was being held between an experienced person imparting their expertise and wisdom to the next generation. Utah Reed has through her own life experiences created a book about how with the right positive mindset we can also achieve success and enjoy a good life. The chapters are short and sometimes a few of the stories are repeated but with the keyword on which it is based it made perfect sense and I enjoyed the book.
Thank you Netgalley for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review

This is a great starter self-help book, if you have never read anything on mindset before it's a perfect start. However, if you have read mindset books before, it can be pretty similar to others. There is a lot of great information, but if you are looking for something that tells you exactly how to get what you want, this is not the book for you. If you want a book with practical tips to not only get what you want, but have a better overall life, then this is the book for you.

It can be somewhat repetitive, mostly be nice, think positive, be positive, though there are some other great points made about specific things to do so that you don't feed off other people negativity and how others can affect you more than you know.

There are some typos and grammatical errors, but other than that this is a good, solid book with lots of great advice. If you are just starting out reading personal development books, this is a great place to start.
