Loved this one - first-person, face-paced storyline, with humour and action? Brilliant.

The characters, the unexpected twists within the adventure, all add up to a thoroughly enjoyable book.

I'm sorry but this one wasn't for me. I loved the idea of it, and was enjoying the very beginning with the soldiers - but it all immediately started falling apart for me once the protag landed on Earth.

I couldn't accept the way Martha immediately accepted the existence of magic.

This is a very long book which could have been edited down a lot, it feels very overwritten and is harder to read than it should be.

I really liked that Book. A different story about a magican from another world, stranded in pur realm. He has to fight against his enemys and Fonds friends in our world.

Overpowered mage being teleported from his fantasy world to the Earth, where he has to find his place in a new, unknown and non-magical place - that is the concept that immediately drew me into reading this book. It sounded very intriguing, interesting and, honestly, quite hilarious too.

I enjoyed about everything in this book.
Pacing was good and writing style was great as well. I liked the choice of telling the story from first person perspective so we could get to know the main character and the world through his eyes really well. I think it's amazing how the writing style portrayed the whole main character's personality and him changing throughout the story, it really felt as it he was telling his own story in his own way, not just someone writing about him.
In fact, one of the best parts of this book was character development. Our main character is very unlikable at first because of his arrogant personality. But as he started changing bit by bit I quickly grew to love him! I found all of the character interactions very fun to read as well.
And the story itself was so entertaining! I especially liked all the humor and amazing action scenes in it. Even though it had some underlying darker themes (some of them being loss of loved ones, searching for your identity and place in the world, some gory battle scenes), it still stayed lighthearted, fun and inspiring.
I think that it would be good to mention that the book read more like a contemporary or urban-fantasy book, not your typical expected fantasy so you know what to expect going into it.
The only critique I have is that the story felt a little bit predictable at times and the whole story concept and magic system weren't the most unique.

In conclusion am happy to say that the execution of this interesting concept was done even better than I hoped for!

Woah, this was a enjoyable read! In this book we meet Donnelius Conqaide a very powerfull mage who has send to Eath. Martha, a bartender, appears in his life, and helps him with the day-to-day situations.
Their dialogues are just great!

I like the mix of fantasy and action, I think the author really has done a good job with the fighting chapters.

So, if you like fantasy and comedy, this one is for you, no doubt.
And, if you are younger and love Cherub, this one will enter in your favourite shelf :)

P.s. I'm sorry if I didn't write accurate. English is not my native language :)

Powerful to the point of invincibility, the legendary mage Donnelius Conqaide could virtually be considered a god. But his arrogance backfires when he faces off a formidable army, and a single fantastical mishap sends him spiraling through space-time to the unfamiliar world of Earth.

I honestly really enjoyed this book. I think it was fantastic and wonderful read. Donnelius is such a lovable main character and I really enjoyed following him throughout the story. His adventure is packed with so many action moments that absolutely make this storyline even better. I also would say that the interactions between the characters are also so intriguing.

I think the author did a fantastic job with this and I honestly can’t wait to read more from him. I would highly recommend this to teenagers and even adults. If you love action packed stories, then I would really suggest you give this a try. It really was a wonderful experience and time. Super grateful to have read this. I only wished I read the physical copy or had one so I could also share it on my bookstagram. Regardless, I loved this story!

An enjoyable read

I like the mix of fantasy action and the Don-Martha day-to-day interchange. The fighting scenes are adrenline-packed too. Read a third of it and the plot is great so far, especially the flashback chapter.

A hilarious and fun story about a powerful god who is sent to Earth and suddenly now he has to struggle with getting help from a young lady, work a job, oh and survive bounty hunters. Along the way he just might find that his new mundane life is actually enjoyable. The story was a fun one to read and definitely had a lot of interesting moments!
