For anyone who's familiar with the Texas Cattleman's Club series, you know you're gonna get a glamorous, sexy, and swoonworthy romance and as usual, Joss Wood delivers.

With an older woman/younger man trope (one of my favorites), this story is passionate and flirty.

Brew the coffee because you're not gonna want to miss a page. It's a sit and read the entire book sort of situation.

At the Rancher's Pleasure is book 2 and if you want to read book #1, pick up Back in the Rancher's Bed by Naima Simone.

More books are coming in this series and I cannot wait!

I enjoyed the older woman now stronger and the recovering savior of damsels in distress younger man trope. That sentence is a lot. I know. My brain isn't at its best so, forgive me. The sex was steamy! Sarabeth quickly got on my nerves, constantly having to prove how independent she was now. I get it was for the plot, but it was too much in such a short book. The angst with the asshole ex was great. I wanted more about Ross, her son. She came back to the town to make amends with him and we got more of his fiancee and her daughter than him. Also, Sarabeth's business seemed to well known for no one to put together the similarity in the names. I couldn't and didn't buy it.

WAIT! I forgot to mention the main attraction in this book and it is most definitely Brett. He's a straight talking, all action, super loyal and considerate broad shouldered young man. He's a self-made wealthy rancher who had a difficult life. He wanted to prove his value to a town who devalued him and his mom. Well, he did just that.

Sarabeth was taught that her only commodity was her beauty. So, she loved that Brett referred to her as sexy and talented/smart. She valued those descriptors much more.

Overall, this was a really good read. I had trouble with the first in the series, but found a rhythm with this one.

I am fairly certain this three star review is not because the book itself did anything wrong but because my life has been a stressful and chaotic time in the real world. So please take these thoughts with a grain of salt!

At the Rancher's Pleasure is book two in this series that Naima Simone kicked off. This particular installment follows the hero from book one's mom who is back in town. Sarabeth has a reputation in Royal (underserved as it may be) as a gold digger because her ex husband, Rusty, is a trash can. Truly, he's awful. Anyway, turns out that when Sarabeth eventually left for California she started her own company that she recently sold and now the woman is RICH. She's staying at a guest cottage on Brett's property, a very attractive man a decade younger than her, and also a man who just got back from a solo honeymoon after leaving his fiancé at the altar.

So Sarabeth and Brett have some fire chemistry and there are probably more sex scenes in this book than in a lot of the Desire books I've read. So if you're looking for steamy, this book could definitely be for you. I found myself skimming them because I didn't actually feel like they were contributing much to the overall progress of the novel, but YMMV. Anyway, Sarabeth and Brett become friends with benefits and then despite the fact that it's very clear that their connection goes well beyond the physical, they keep trying to tell themselves that they are just friends who have sex.

I think the conflict in the book was pretty well done, but also, it's a type of conflict that I always wind up rolling my eyes over. And then the very end takes a dramatic turn and I kind of wanted to know more during THIS book. Anyway, I think if you want something steamy with a lot of internal emotional soul searching, this could definitely be the book for you!

Rancher's Pleasure is about Sarabeth older woman who comes back to town rekindle her relationship with her children. Brett is her landlord, younger man. Brett has just got back to town after taking a trip from his broken engagement. Neither are looking for a relationship. Sarabeth knows what she wants. Brett likes to fix broken things. I enjoyed reading this book. I recieved an ARC from Net Galley/ Harlequin for my honest opinion.

Brett Harston and Sarabeth Edmonds have both been the talk of the town. Brett for bailing on his wedding and Sarabeth for leaving her wealthy, powerful, lying ex-husband. Their story begins with a kiss meant to get the town gossip going but instead opens up a fiery attraction neither can handle.

Whew! From the first page, this was a hot hot read. Brett and Sarabeth share a hot chemistry that heats up the pages. They can't keep their hands off each other and their passion is intense. You can tell that this heat between them would either combust or lead to something more. I enjoyed reading and there were a few moments that had me cheering. If you like steamy reads, this is one for you.

Thank you #netgalley #harlequin for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Super steamy older woman, younger cowboy romance. Although this is book two in the series, I have not read the first and didn’t feel like I was missing anything from the story. It was able to stand alone.
Sara Beth is returning to her hometown 20 years after leaving in a messy divorce from one of the towns most wealthy men. He was horrible to her and turned her kids against her in the process. But now her children are adults and want it know her again, so she is back in town to try to rebuild their relationships. In the process, she rents a cabin from a rancher who has just left his fiancée the night before the wedding, and the sparks fly immediately. They agree to a friends with benefits relationship, which of course, turns into a full on love story.

I enjoyed this fast read with lots of family drama, steam and lifelong friendships

Thanks to Harlequin and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for my review.

This book is fast and steamy and a really fun continuation of Back in the Ranchers Bed by Naima Simone. I love how these series let us experience different characters and authors but all in the same world. This is perfect for readers who love cowboy romance and like the heat high! Thank you for letting me read and review!

I really enjoyed reading this one. The romance felt just okay at the beginning but I slowly began to enjoy them together with the further into the story I got. I really enjoyed the tension that was present with all the different relationships that were involved, It felt relatable which made me connect more to the story. Overall I had a great time reading this and would recommend it.

This storyline picks up where we meet Ross and Gina Edmonds mother Sarabeth who has returned back to Royal Texas to reunite with her children who are now grown and also get to know Ross’s fiancé Charlotte and their son Ben.
Sarabeth was estranged from her children when she and their father Rusty divorced. Rusty has done everything in his wealth and power to gain custody of the kids and keeping them from seeing Sarabeth by poisoning their minds that there mother didn’t want them and that is why she left them.
Now that Sarabeth is back to right the wrong she rents a cottage from rancher Brett Harston, who just called off his wedding to Lexi the night before their wedding at the rehearsal dinner. Both Brett and Sarabeth are the gossips subjects of Royal, especially after Brett gives a passionate kiss to Sarabeth in front of the town gossips.
Now the sparks of passion has been ignited between Brett and Sarabeth. The characters were well developed and the author did a great job of incorporating characters from the first book and introducing new characters where the storyline just flowed. I like the older women, younger man romance to show that love sometimes doesn’t have to be where the man is older or the same age as the woman. Now will Brett and Sarabeth remain together and find love within each other? Will Sarabeth be able to gain the love and trust of her now adult children Ross and Gina? Will Rusty try and run Sarabeth out of town just like he did after their divorce? I don’t want to give any spoilers so you will have to read this book for yourself to see how things pan out.
I highly recommend this book to read and it can be read as a stand-alone. It has a juicy storyline of romance, steamy sex, family drama and secrets.
