This is a fast pace Medical Romance. This is the romance between Dr. Regina and Dr. Mateo, and Dr. Regina is ten years older then Dr. Mateo. I really liked that the woman was older then the man because normally the man is older. I really love the characters in this book. I enjoyed the romance in this book, but this book does not get steamy. I did enjoy the hospital setting and the medical stuff as well. I felt the ending was just good because I know what was going to happen. This is a short and quick read for me, but I really enjoyed it. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Medical Romance) or author (Ann McIntosh) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

There's something about seeing the Harlequin logo that has me one-clicking, ready to indulge in a great romance. And this author definitely brought me that. This story really got to me. This was hot!

I've never read a medical romance and this was a great place to start -- Regina and Mateo were such admirable people that I really enjoyed watching them (reluctantly) fall for each other. What a treat! I'll absolutely be recommending this on the podcast, and while my library doesn't purchase much category romance, I'd love to see more books like this on our shelves. I'll definitely be seeking out more of McIntosh's work!
