Loved this book! Really didn’t see the twist coming even though all the characters felt flawed and culpable.

Of course, the title had me requesting it on NetGalley! Sinful! Trophy Wives! Count me in! The title definitely lives up to the title as Miller takes readers directly in to the lives of the rich and fabulous. The good, the bad, and the mundane. Add in some twists and turns and this book is a great read.

This book captured from the cover all the way to the very end. I didn't see several of the twists that came throughout the book which made me love it all the more. I will definitely recommending this one to friends and family!

This book really reminded me of the TV show Desperate Housewives. You will enjoy reading the characters and trying to decide if they are telling the truth... You will wonder about Brooke's secret... you will wonder what Erin is hiding... and all the while be surprised at the end. The characters of the book, while extremely wealthy, can be very relatable, and though you may disagree with their decisions, in the end I fully supported them. This was one I did not want to put down and read through very quickly!

I was sooo so so excited to read this one and it did not disappoint! What a wild ride and so good! Highly recommend this for thriller lovers!

The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives by Kristin Miller is a suspenseful thriller with a wonderful storyline that keeps you guessing from page one. The book opens with a dramatic scene of a woman, Brooke, who alludes to more secrets as her husband purchases a mansion for her in Presidio Place. Little tidbits are sprinkled throughout their interactions that cause you to have more questions than answers. Then when the realtor shares about the famous and infamous neighbors you are even more intrigued.
Presidio Place has a Stepford Wives vibe in an exclusive California enclave with a gated community and block on satellites to ensure residents ultimate privacy. One neighbors is Erin, a local news anchor who is in charge of the community ordinances. She enforces such rules as fines for having your garage door open more than five minutes. But, the real surprise is Georgia, “The Black Widow”, who lost two husbands to suspicious circumstances and is soon to marry a third.
Broke soon befriends Erin and Georgia and they provide excellent inspiration for her mystery novel that she is writing, The book is told in alternating voices of the three heroines and you learn more about the secret lives of those in their exclusive enclave but you are still left with questions, This book will grip you and leave you wondering who is trustworthy and who is already willing to look the other way in hopes of receiving financial gain.
All the characters have flaws and secrets which draws the reader even further. You can not help but try to figure out who to sympathize with and who is at fault. Trust me though, you will be shocked when it is not at all what it seems.
I was provided a free advance reader copy from Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine Books in exchange for my honest review on Net Galley. The opinions shared in this review are my own.

If you love mysteries and a little sassy banter this is definitely the book for you! I really enjoyed this quick and witty read. Definitely grabbing this one for the next beach trip. Thank you so much for an opportunity to read this ARC.

I loved that I got a soap opera and a murder mystery in the same book! The characters are hard to sympathize with, but honestly, I enjoyed that here. Definitely a good beach read this summer!

First of all, what a fun concept for a novel!! A main character who is suspected of killing her previous two husbands? I'm already sold. I read this one in a day-- I truly couldn't put it down. Erin, Georgia and Brooke all had things about them that made me question their loyalty and I couldn't stop changing my mind on what happened to Brooke's newest husband. Even the other husbands, Jack & Mason kept me guessing. But never did I think the ending would play out how it did! There were parts of it that were a little hard to believe but man...the loyalty of good female friendships!!! Actual review would be 3.5 stars!

What a fun terrific read. Set in the exclusive enclave of Presidio Terrace in San Francisco - a gathering of women who seem to have it all; money love huge homes. There is a black widow who keeps losing her husbands. A mystery writer and a famous newscaster who has been let go from her job round out the cast. A fun read

Literally could not put this book down! Such a fun read - a glimpse instead what some of the "Real Housewives" may feel! The pressure to be perfect - men who are awful but so powerful. Loved this book! An absolute perfect summer beach read!

New to me author but the description of the book was so intriguing;)
No spoilers but if you love mysteries and over the top serial dramas you will love The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives.

I requested to read and review this book for free from Ballantine Books. This is the first book I have read by author Kristin Miller. This book takes places in a gated community in California. And how about three womens lives intertwines their lives more together then they will ever know. This book will keep until the very end. Just when you think you have things figured out. There is a huge curveball put into the storyline. There is romance, mystery, drama and so many other emotions. This has a very realistic idea without getting to heavy or crazy. This is for any type of mature reader. Can be read anywhere!

WOW!! Loved this incredibly fun read! Georgia, Erin, and Brooke become BFFs in their elite community, and develop a bond that will keep them "friends" forever! Each woman harbors secrets, and as the story unfolded, I was shocked and (can I say?) delighted by the turn of events. This book kept me on edge and shouting "I didn't see THAT comin'!" This was the perfect vacation book for me - I read it in record time on my flights. Each time I closed it, I couldn't wait to jump back in and discover how these Sinful Lives became increasing intertwined. I hope see this story on the big screen!
Highly recommend!
Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read and review The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives!

This was a great pager turner! We join in on the lives of the Presidio house wives Georgia, Erin, and Brooke.
Brooke is the newbie in the neighbor. She is a novelist by night, but by day is just trying to quietly fit in.
Erin is a news broadcaster, and the neighborhood association police, wanting to be the one in control of everything.
Georgia is moving onto her 3rd husband and is trying to break the vicisous cycle, and title, of being the Black Widow.
Just how much trouble can they get into?
There were some plot holes for me, but ultimately I still enjoyed this read. There were some unexpected and unpredictable moments that made up for it.
Looking forward to seeing what Miller comes up with next.
This releases on July 20, 2021.
Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for the ARC through NetGalley.

Special thanks to Random House Publishing, Ballantine Books and NetGalley for the ARC for my honest opinion of this book.
Ok ladies! This book is a deliciously evil book. I still would love to be a "trophy wife", but ladies, and their rich men beware. Nobody knows what goes on behind the closed doors of people's marriages, but this book....Good Lord there is bad behavior. Funny enough, if it was nonfiction, I'd probably believe it, because nothing surprises me anymore.
When I said this book is deliciously evil, it reminds me of the craziest episodes of "The Housewives of Beverly Hills" and other rich people and the lengths they will go to So they stay, spoiled, evil and loaded.
It's a great book to read when you want to sit back and enter the evil world of the rich and how truly lucky us normal people are. Still I think being a trophy wife has its benefits, but I think I'll stay in my middle class humdrum life. It's so much more fun to read about the craziness!

Another good book you don’t want to miss! The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives by Kristin Miller was a fun read, much like a dramatic soap opera or even better, The Real Housewives. In fact, it’s not hard to imagine this as a tv series.
The story centers around three very wealthy women: Georgia St. Claire, Erin King and Brooke Davies. The book is told from the point of view of each woman.
Here’s what you need to know:
Mystery writer Brooke Davies is the new wife on the block. Her tech-billionaire husband, Jack, twenty-two years her senior, whisked her to the Bay Area via private jet and purchased a modest mansion on the same day. He demands perfection, and before now, Brooke has had no problem playing the role of a doting housewife. But as she befriends other wives on the street and spends considerable time away from Jack, he worries if he doesn’t control Brooke’s every move, she will reveal the truth behind their “perfect” marriage.
Erin King, famed news anchor and chair of the community board, is no stranger to maintaining an image—though being married to a plastic surgeon helps. But the skyrocketing success of her career has worn her love life thin, and her professional ambitions have pushed Mason away. Quitting her job is a Hail Mary attempt at keeping him interested, to steer him away from finding a young trophy wife. But is it enough, and is Mason truly the man she thought he was?
Georgia St. Claire allegedly cashed in on the deaths of her first two husbands, earning her the nickname “Black Widow”—and the stares and whispers of her curious neighbors. Rumored to have murdered both men for their fortunes, she claims to have found true love in her third marriage, yet her mysterious, captivating allure keeps everyone guessing. Then a tragic accident forces the residents of Presidio Terrace to ask: Has Georgia struck again? And what is she really capable of doing to protect her secrets?
This is a fun, wild ride of a story and I think just jumping in without knowing a lot before you read is best. It comes out on July 20!

The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives is so over the top "cray-cray" it has no business working as well as it does. There are a ton of reality shows about women who have too much time (and money) on their hands-the setting here is San Francisco. The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives is a hybrid of "The Real Housewives" franchise and Robin Hood-an unexpected combination that blends into a thoroughly enjoyable read. You do have to transcend reality to appreciate The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives-but let's be honest-there's nothing "real" about The Real Housewives, so it's easy to overlook the glaring flaws in the plot. What's most surprising about The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives is at its heart it actually does have a soul. But is it ever ok to do the wrong thing for the right reason? The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives is a short, fun escape from the ordinary. It's a place that's nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

Erin, Georgia, and Brooke are three trophy wives living in a luxury, gated community where the inhabitants are rich and/or famous. Erin is a news anchor married to a successful plastic surgeon, Georgia is known as the "Black Widow" after her the death of her first two, very rich, husbands, and Brooke is the young wife of a tech mogul. On a yacht celebrating Georgia's upcoming third marriage, her fiancée disappears, and thus the drama begins.
It's quick, and it's scandalous. Like other reviewers said, very reminiscent of a soap opera or episode of Desperate Housewives. Really, that's all there is too it. Majority of the characters are terrible people, the drama is crazy and often unbelievable, yet it's still got an element of fun to it. Perfect for a vacation/beach/summer read.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

I have literally no words for this book other than it is phenomenal.
I saw the title and cover and thought... maybe?!?! And then read the excerpt and said, “oh hell yeah!” And dove right into a psychological mind bender that Kept me up into the wee hours of the night just so I could fill in all of the gaps in the story!
The author did such a brilliant job of writing Brooke, Georgia, and Erin that I didn’t mind the multiple perspectives. It was great getting into their heads and seeing what it was like living in the rich end of the block.
The writing was witty and felt like I was truly in a soap opera. I loved the fast-paced nature of the novel. There weren’t many slow points and the witty punch lines between the main characters kept me flipping the pages. This has to be on everyone’s TBR list.
I received an ARC from netgalley for review.
