This was such a fun, thrilling, and over the top shocking read! Brooke moves into the fancy Presidio Terrace neighborhood of San Fransisco with her millionaire husband. She meets two other
trophy wives, and as she gets to know them and their secrets, sparks fly, husbands die, and we are taken on a wild ride.
I can imagine this book as a fun, wild and zany TV show! Someone out there, please make it!

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This was a fun book overall, nothing too serious and easy to read. The characters were fairly well-developed, but a couple were not fully developed (Jack and Brooke...why were they together? Were they in love or was it some type of deal?) I found the characters fairly interesting, but not likeable or deep. They were somewhat cookie cutter. I will say I had a couple surprises and twists I did not expect, especially the ending. I never saw that coming (although that story could have been more developed to make the book feel complete). Anyway, if you are looking for a general fun read that won't scare or delve too deeply into evil, this could be it.

This was compelling and dark and I just loved it! The story focuses on three women, Brooke, a mystery writer, Erin, a famous news anchor and Georgia, the Black Widow who gossips say murdered her first two husbands. All three are wealthy and Brooke and Erin are married. Georgia is engaged to Robert, who will be her third husband. Brooke is the newest to the prestigious neighborhood, Erin and Georgia are already good friends but soon all three are close. There are lots of secrets between the three. The characters were fascinating and that ending twist was WOW!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a soap opera thriller. As a fifty-something male, I don't think I'm the target audience. But it is well written for what it is. There are some good surprises, and it is outrageous at times, but I'm sure that will be part of the fun for some readers. Recommended for those seeking a melodrama-thriller.

I really appreciate the ARC for review!!

Secrets, lies, murder, and mayhem, this story had it all. It’s fast paced and high energy and held me captivated to the end. I loved the twists and turns and how the story kept twisting to the very end. Get ready for a fun ride!

Brooke Davies is a mystery writer who moves to the San Francisco suburbs with her billionaire husband. She befriends two other housewives, Georgia, dubbed the "Black Widow" for having two dead husbands, and Erin, a news anchor, when another tragic accident befalls the community and Georgia St. Clair once again.

Are you a Real Housewives fan? Then this is the book for you, because it gives off ALL the Real Housewives vibes. I was LIVING for this book. It made me feel like a "real" reader again because I couldn't put it down.to find out what happened next. I was wrapped up in their soapy drama, privilege, and the mystery of the entire thing. This was the Finlay Donovan (as the main character is writing her own mystery novel) that I didn't get with a side of rich, upper-class mess. There was a feeling I had about the end that come to fruition, but other parts I totally didn't expect. Would wholeheartedly recommend this book.

VERDICT: 4.5 stars.

Loved this book! It was a juicy romp! The characters were entertaining and most of them were likeable. :) Mason was a prick from the get go! I loved the many twists and turns a long the way. This book kept me guessing on what would happen until the bitter end.

Thank you Net Galley and Random House/Ballantine Books for an early copy of The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives. First of all, the title is way too long. The book was entertaining, I was surprised at the ending but I also was confused about the ending a bit. Good beach read even though the characters were not likable. A quick read.

LOVED this book! Unlike other thrillers, the twists and turns were throughout the entire book, not just at the end. A really interested viewpoint on secrets, marriage, jealousy and friendship. The characters were all really fun nd relatable, while also being surprising. Would definitely read more by this author!

*Trigger warning for domestic abuse*.

I didn’t think I would like this book. The whole ‘real housewives’ thing leaves me flat. But though the settings may be the same the women in this story are anything but flat.

We have three very rich women living in a wealthy subdivision in California. Two have been friends for a long time; a tv news anchor and a woman known as the Black Widow as her two husbands died under mysterious circumstances. The third is the new girl married to an internet magnet who seems rather detached. The Black Widow is about to marry again when her fiancé disappears from their engagement party. The storyline could have fallen apart there but the author has given us characters we can alternatively love and hate, and they are never boring.

I’m looking forward to other books from this author.

Grab your pillow, your blanket, and find a snuggly spot because you are NOT going to want to stop reading! 📖

It takes a talented author to write characters that you absolutely hate, but you still want to keep reading anyway.

The cul-de-sac of drama, pettiness, and back stabbing is where you find yourself as you following mystery writer Brooke Davies as she makes new friends and connects with two women in her new home. One being the notorious Black Widow.

These women are awful, horrible and nasty, but dammit I wanted ONE of the husbands to make it! I suppose it depends on your definition of HEA. 🤷‍♀️

I must admit that even though they may feel like they are not your favorite people- they are super funny at times and I had to chuckle while reading this.

Twists and turns galore that I 100% never saw coming and I loved this book and cannot wait to hear everyone else's thoughts...get over to NetGalley and request it or preorder now. It comes out in July!

SO GOOD! 💀💀💀💀💀

The real Housewives have nothing on these women. Thank you @netgalley for the advanced kindle version in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you Random House and Netgalley for the ARC of this book. What a fun book! I loved the premise, Brooke moves into a glitzy neighborhood and who should be her next door neighbor but Georgia, The Black Widow? Soon Brooke, Georgia, and Erin become friends drinking mimosas and trying to find out who kidnapped Georgia’s fiance. This is a perfect book for Summer. Get some cool drinks and sit in the sun and read! You will love it.

This fast moving thriller checked off all of the boxes. Wealthy, beautiful wives mixed with unfaithful husbands, yachts and murders. Georgia and Erin are thick as thieves and Brooke and her husband move into elite community and become instant friends...... hold on for the ride.

There's no point in denying it; the women in "The Sinful Lives Of Trophy Wives" are deliciously shallow and compelling at the same time. In her latest foray, Kristin Miller has penned an immensely entertaining psychological thriller that will grab your attention from the start.

The story is told from the perspective of the three female protagonists who are neighbors in an exclusive gated community in San Francisco. Erin King is a successful news anchor at a local station who feels her looks may be waning based on the lack of attention from her plastic surgeon husband, Mason. Georgia St. Claire, dubbed the "Black Widow," is engaged to her third husband after her first two husbands met untimely deaths. Rounding out this trio of rabid social climbers is new neighbor, Brooke Davies, a mystery writer who is married to Jack, a tech billionaire who is 22 years her senior.

Three days before her wedding, Georgia's fiancé, Robert, disappears off his yacht during a pre-wedding celebratory party. This unleashes a missing person's investigation to find him. It is during this time that we learn more about the lives of Erin, Georgia and Brooke. While they all have an obsessive relationship with money and status, their married lives are severely lacking. Each of them seem to be harboring their own secrets behind the facade of their perfect homes.

Miller is adept at creating these characters that are flawed but relatable. Perhaps they are victims of their own circumstances. As the plot thickens with twists and turns, I became so immersed that I devoured this book in record time. Many thanks to NetGalley and Ballantine Books for an Arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book ! The story follows three trophy wives Erin, Georgia and Brooke. Each chapter is told from their different POV’s.
This is one fun, dark, twisty summer read. Desperate Housewives have nothing on these ladies. Be ready to read from cover to cover non stop !

I’m a sucker for books that let me live vicariously through the life of the rich and fabulous and The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives did not disappoint! So much suspense mixed with an inside look at the lives of the elite makes for a perfect beach read and escape from reality. I didn’t want this book to end and I found myself missing the character when it did. Looking forward to more books by Kristin Miller!!

As with other books by Kristin Miller, first impressions are not what they appear to be. Georgia St Claire has lost 2 husbands and now days before her third wedding, her fiance is missing. Her best friend Erin is always there for her, always got her back, even if she enjoys teasing her as the Black Widow. What truth does Erin know? Or is she helping her cover something up? Enter the new girl on the block, Brooke, married to billionaire Jack...she's a mystery writer and always looking for the twisted lies people tell. What does she see? What will she tell?

I appreciate stories with complex characters and storylines and Miller does an excellent job with both. Nothing is what it seems and that keeps you turning the pages.

Thanks to Netgalley for the arc to review.

Scandalous! This was a fun read. I felt like I was snapping gum with red lipstick while I read it. It was juicy, fast-paced and just fun. I recommend this is you like neighborhood gossip!

The upcoming novel The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives, by Kristin Miller, looks at dark secrets in an exclusive neighborhood. The friendships aren't deeply developed, it mostly seems that living in the same gated community brought the friends together. I didn't quite see the draw that started the friendship here, but I did believe that the friends were bound by their secrets. Still, the wives have a lot to lose, so the stakes are high and there's so much drama.

Although this is mostly a thriller, the novel does raise some thoughtful points about power imbalance in marriages.
