This book was pure fluff, like a good musical and kept me interested from the beginning. It's a quick read, and pure entertainment! Thanks to Netgalley and Ballantine Books for the egalley. Truly, lots of fun, murder and mayhem, thrown in with BFF's!

This book is a fun and wickedly addictive beach read! The story is told from 3 different POV’s of 3 ultra rich wives of the exclusive gated community of Presidio Terrace in San Francisco. We follow their shenanigans, deceptions, and evil scheming surrounding their friendships, jobs and marriages. They are funny, endearing, naughty and so very entertaining! If you enjoy secrets, lies and domestic mayhem, you won’t be able to put this one down till you’ve devoured the last page! I read this one without reading the synopsis and recommend everyone do the same. The title was enough to grab my attention and the cover art is 🔥! Bravo Ms. Miller, I will be anxiously anticipating your next thriller!
Thank you to Netgalley, Random House Publishing Group-Ballantine Books, and Kristin Miller for granting my wish for a digital ARC for my honest review.

If you are in the mood a Real Housewives/Desperate Housewives-style psychological thriller with a darkly comic bent, this would be a good book for you. The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives introduces us to Georgia, Erin, and Brooke and San Francisco's Presidio Terrace.

All three women are beautiful and wealthy. Georgia is known as the Black Widow and on the cusp of her third marriage. Brooke is a young newlywed, an author, and married to a tech billionaire. Erin is a news anchor, and close friends with Georgia. They all have secrets.

Georgia’s fiancé goes missing after a party on his yacht, and we learn that everyone’s secrets are intertwined, with the missing fiancé and with each other.

I found this book entertaining, with unlikeable characters, ridiculous hijinks, and hateful men who we aren’t sorry to see bumped off. It wasn’t really my cup of tea, but for a frothy, soapy blackly comedic mystery, this was good one.

Super fun, frothy novel! I enjoyed reading about the crazy shenanigans of this group of women. Perfect summer read!

Thought I’d step out of my comfort zone and explore a different genre than I usually read. Sorry I did. I’m sure there’s a better audience for this book, but the writing itself took away from a potentially interesting group of devious, backstabbing characters.

I’m not sure what I was expecting. All I know is that what I got was a pleasant surprise. I felt like I was watching a guilty-pleasure reality show mixed with a mystery I couldn’t get enough of.

This is the story of three “trophy wives” living in a posh neighborhood. Brooke is the novelist and newcomer on the block. Erin is the news anchor. And Georgia is the Black Widow (suspected of killing her past husbands).

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery and the bonds some women develop together. Thank you to NetGalley, Ballantine Books, and Kristin Miller for the chance to read this advance copy. I can’t wait to recommend it to everyone.

Brooke is married to Jack who is much older than her. They live in a beautiful house and seem to.have the perfect marriage. Jack feels that if Brooke spends too much time away from him, their secrets will come out and their perfect image will be shattered.
Erin a successful news anchor has put her career over her marriage to Mason and now needs to redeem herself before it is too late.
Georgia seems to be enjoying the wealth left to her by her previous two husbands, but exactly how did she get to inherit?
These are truly the secret lives and each wife has her own agenda.
An interesting book, but not quite my genre.
Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Oh delicious delightful yes, yes, and yes...y’all! I just finished this incredible story that should be added, at once, to your 2021 Summer Beach Reads list! Starring 3 strong female characters: Brooke, Erin and Georgia, this can best be described as mystery/suspense with gossipy friendships, billions of dollars and assets galore. The women, who live in a trendy and posh neighborhood in CA, each have their share of drama, denial, schemes and chaos. I finished this in two nights and even my exhaustion from our first back to school “in-person” couldn’t keep me from turning the pages until I finished. This is my favorite kind of suspense that has twists and turns until literally the final page. I never even saw some of it coming! It is a fabulous read and will land on many “hot reads” of this Summer lists!

The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives by Kristin Miller was sinfully decadent! I had been in a bit of a book funk and this book pulled me right in from the start! Alternating between three women: Brooke, Erin and Georgia who all live in the same gated community in California this book shows that the grass isn't always greener in someone else's yard. Miller has impeccable timing switching between each character to drive the plot forward. I loved the layers she wove into this story. Perfect as a beach read or a stuck inside read.

This is one of those guilty pleasures I have...books about people I wouldn't want to be friends with! This was a fun and forgettable story with forgettable characters but written in a great non-forgettable way!

The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives surrounds the lives of Brooke, Erin and Georgia - “The Black Widow”. Brooke is new to the neighborhood, and needs inspiration for her new murder mystery. Georgia, who has been accused of murdering her last two husbands, and marrying her third husband in a week’s time. When he suddenly goes missing the night of their pre-wedding party, Georgia is immediately to blame. But did she kill him? This is an incredibly suspenseful mystery that had me hooked from start to finish! I was totally shocked at the ending!

This is a quick read that is intriguing until it gets to the end, when it just kind of flies off the rails. I feel like the book could have been edited better to make it flow together at the end. It was fun up until the very last though.

How can you not love a twisty mystery with 3 strong female characters? Georgia, Erin and Brooke all live in the same exclusive neighborhood. Georgia has quite a reputation - her 2 former husbands died under questionable circumstances and earned her the Black Widow moniker. Erin is her best friend across the street whose story is strangely a bit too tied to Georgia's. Brooke is the newbie on the street who is trying to fit in with her new neighborhood. All three female characters are strong and portrayed as such. Kudos to the author for this.

There is a really great twist in the end, making this quite a good, quick read. I highly recommend it.

What an epic ride! This was a deliciously fun book that I could not get enough of...finally an ARC that totally delivered!

The three wives at the heart of this story were awful, horrible and nasty, but dammit I want to forever be able to eavesdrop on their conversations because they were wickedly funny and I laughed out loud multiple times while reading this.

There were amazing twists and turns that I 100% never saw coming and despite never truly connecting with one of the main men...I loved this ride and cannot wait to hear everyone else's thoughts...get over to NetGalley and request it or preorder now. SO GOOD!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this early. This was an absolutely FANTASTIC read.

This is a story of three ladies Erin King, Georgia St. Claire, and Brooke Davies, all of whom live in the posh Presidio Terrace neighborhood. Georgia is known as The Black Widow is preparing for her third wedding. Erin, a famed news anchor seems to have it all together married to a plastic surgeon but is actually totally falling apart. And last but not the least is the new neighbor Brooke, a trophy wife to tech tycoon, Jack Davies, who seems to be hiding something.

Told in three different POV’S The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives by Kristin Miller is a dark, entertaining wicked full of secrets and lies made even more interesting due to the unlikable characters . A fun, quick beach read !

I would like to thank Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine & NetGalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest and fair review.

This was an entertaining soap opera-ish story full of drama, backstabbing and so many twists. The story is told through the point of view of the three trophy wives, Georgia, Brooke and Erin. It was a bit hard to connect to any of the characters because they are all somewhat unlikeable, but it didn’t take away from the fun of the story. The first half of the book is a bit slow as the plot begins to unfold. Once things begin to pick up though hold on to your seat as the twist and turns take you for a wild and crazy ride. There were some things I felt like I still don’t fully understand and others that came together a little too perfectly, but it was an entertaining and quick read. I would recommend going in blind to fully enjoy the book!

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House - Ballantine Books for providing me this eARC to read and review.

I loved this book. It was a fun, Desperate Housewives meets murder mystery with salacious characters, big reveals, and lots of neighborhood gossip. It alternates between the perspectives of the two characters, Brooke, navigating her way as the new girl in the gating community, and Erin. The novel immediately caught my attention from the first chapter. Thanks for the ARC.

At first I wasn’t going to give feedback for this book because given the title, I should have expected the characters and the writing to be quite shallow. I suppose this is an okay palette cleanser.

This book was a page turner and kept me guessing until the end. A little romance, a little sex, a lot of guessing games. The characters drew me in, and I couldn’t put the book down! The book sets the scene almost Desperate Housewives - esque, but segues into so much more. At first, you think a news anchor, a Black Widow and a mystery writer have nothing in common, but when they all become neighbors in a quiet neighborhood, you realize how much their stories intertwine. I love a book that takes me to a reality that I could never be a part of, because it transports me to a universe where I feel like I could fit in with the ladies in the book...someday. If you’re looking for just a nice, easy to read novel, here you go!
