I've now read this succulent, thought-provoking novel three times -- twice after it was originally published in the UK in 2020 and again, recently, in order to interview author Polly Samson (for a five-page feature in Zoomer magazine's summer issue). And it gets better every time.

As much as I tried, I really couldn’t get into this book. I found it a bit confusingly written and found it hard to enjoy the story line and wasn’t able to finish.
