For enthusiasts of Victorian romances, enemies-to-lovers tales, or paranormal escapades, Tracy Summer's latest addition to the League of Lords series might be your next literary venture. While it stands alone as a compelling read, delving into the preceding installments would likely enhance your overall satisfaction. This book is hot (pun intended).

If you love some spice, some headstrong heroines mixed with some magic, this book is for you. I love how the characters are written, how they interact with one another and the magic aspect was so different that it kept me interested. I enjoyed the arc I got from netgalley and would recommend, especially for those who are fans of paranormal romance.

Historical romance novel. I love reading these when I want to escape to a regency England and pretend to be nobility. This will do the trick. Good read.

This was quite the fun adventure. The Duke is Wicked is the first historical romance I have read that also had a supernatural aspect. But it was such a blast to read. I absolutely loved reading this book.

The Duke is Wicked (League of Lords #3). By Tracy Sumner. 2021. Tracy Sumner (ARC eBook).

The Duke is Wicked so far is the only book in the League of Lords series that I have read. And overall, it is not my favorite Sumner book. But the premise is different for the historical romance genre and it, like other books I’ve read by the author, is well-written. And I did enjoy the chemistry of Sebastian and Delaney’s slow-burn romance. I am also interested in reading the rest of the series for the rest of the League’s stories.

If you like Victorian romances, enemies-to-lovers stories, or paranormal adventures this book may be your next read. Tracy Summer has managed to wrap all of this into her latest installments of her League of Lords series (which can be read alone but would probably more satisfying if you had read the others preceding this one).

I received a copy of the book to review from Netgalley and all options are my own.
A fast paced enemies to lovers romance in Old England with some supernatural additions. A great read for those missing Bridgerton. It is part of a series but it can be read as a stand alone novel also.

This is the third book in the series, League of Lords, that I have read. I feel that I am starting to like them less as the series goes on. I was looking forward to reading about the mysterious Duke from the past two books but after a few chapters I wasn't that interested in him. While reading this book I felt like I wasn't being told enough.

The duke is wicked by Tracy Summer is an historical paranormal romance. This is apparently the third book in a series titled the League of Lords. I have not read the other books and so can honestly say this is a standalone book, though it piques your interest to read the other installations as you meet the other characters. In this title we meet Sebastian Tremont, the Duke of Ashcroft, a firestarter, who due to some family heart aches has been keeping himself apart from society at large except for the other league members and their significant others. This means, that this is a man who got to watch his friends meet, fall in love, and find the right one for them, because let’s face it, meeting the woman you wanna spend the rest of life with could be an issue when you’re a Duke with supernatural powers.

Enter Delaney Temple an American heiress, on the run who has a supernatural memorization skills and superior intellect. Now there’s a woman who can perhaps handle our Duke’s secret but of course, it can’t be that easy. First off, she is a twin, they are being pursued by people who want her to steal the Leagues Chronology so how to win her because a bit more complex and makes for quite an adventurous read. Our hero is going to have to do a lot of things, using all his skills, his supernatural ones as well as his violin playing skills for his heroine, for starters. I literally was salivating the more I got to know about her attic full of books, because yeah, that’s my thing  and watching them overcome their fear of relationships. You will find yourself cheering for their HEA.

I gave it four stars because it was a slow start for me, but as I mentioned, it picks up and you will find yourself soon all in. I am going to hunt down the other books in the series so that I can have a better flow and a lighter heart for the league members as they find their happiness. This review was given on the ARC copy I received from the Publisher via Netgalley in return for my honest opinion. Happy reading!

A wicked duke. A troublesome American. And the forbidden desire they can't deny...
Worlds and leagues apart, two unlikely lovers ignite in passion...

Thanks to Netgalley for the copy!
This is the third book in the series but readers can choose randomly and every book can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the 1st and 2nd book but here I am, reading the 3rd book. I love the characters just fine. Sebastian and Delaney are very very likable. The way the author can blend romance with paranormal vibes just really really great! I enjoy this book just fine!
Highly recommended for anyone who loves historical fiction!

I like the Tracy Sumner books and read all of them, as she publishes them. This series I cam to late though and thus had to the previous ones as well.
Tracy writes an excellent historical romance, with enough passion and joy in her stories and in these characters to make the reading easy and fun.
remembering of course, that this particular League has a paranormal 'bent' we get some interesting occasions and happenings when a rather nosy American comes visiting - after a husband of course, but not with the English Ton's mannerisms, language or behaviours - rather refreshing in fact and outgoing and exuberant in her behaviour. And then she meets a rather buttoned-up Lord...

This was a sexy addition to the League of Lords series and I loved it. The extra touch of paranormal abilities was perfect. Sebastian and Delaney were great characters and went from forbidden love to passion. I look forward to the next book.
Many thanks to Book Buzz.net and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

A great read. I loved the book. The plot was very well written and I cannot wait for another book. This was from a new to me and great author. I really enjoyed the book. I will definitely recommend this book.

Romance crossed with Paranormal --if you like these, then this book is for you. Personally, a hint of paranormal is enough for me. This book will appeal to most, as it is well written. Sebastian has real fears that he could hurt his lady, and this fear is given its just attention. In many romances, these types of obstacles just miraculously disappear or are "unrealistic" even in the fictional setting of the novel. In this case, I think the story was outstanding as we learn the story of Sebastian and Delaney. This is my first book in the series. Since I am not a paranormal fan, but I am a Sumner fan... I will jump to where I left off in another of her series. For those who like this genre, they should try the whole series if this is a taste of the others.

This book was different than I expected. I didn’t realize that it was book three in a series about Victorian gentlemen with extraordinary powers, and I was surprised when those powers played such a large role in the narrative. Sumner’s storytelling blended the paranormal aspects of the story with the romance perfectly, and the result was a fun romance with an original voice. The Duke is Wicked had everything that makes regency romances fun to read. The book featured a swoon-worthy male lead in the dashing and brooding Duke, and Delaney was a smart and sassy female main character. The romance gently revealed itself with moments of conflict and sizzling romance that made the book a perfect blend of torment and romance. Sumner took all the romance and angst and paired it perfectly with the setting which was richly developed. The entire book came together to create something sure to please fans of historical romance.

I enjoyed this historical romance story with the two main characters that were Delaney Temple and Sebastian, the Duke of Ashcroft. And also the rest of the characters to.

Delaney Temple is a free spirit woman that assist at Scotland Yard. She has a supernatural gift that can photographic memory and total recall. She is being blackmailed by someone who wants information about the League of Lords.

Sebastian, the Duke of Ashcroft has a supernatural gift the ability to start fires. With this ability he struggles to control it.

This was fun to read with it twist and turns that had me trying to guess what might happen next.

I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley and BookSiren. This is my honest unbiased opinion.

Thank you Netgalley and the author, Ms Sumner for providing me the arc of the book.

I’ve been slowly reading it over the course of the 30th to now. I literally loved how the book was.

Starting with the key parts I loved:
- the fact it’s a historical romance.
- the dialogue
- the portray of the novel
- letters

What I hate:
- telling not showing
- grammatical errors
- lack of anything but dialogue

I just loved how the book became about. I was ready for the smut to make up and it didn’t. However, the letters did.I cannot wait to read the rest in the series and again, thank you.

I have not read the first 2 books so I was a bit lost in the beginning. Getting everyone's names right and who they are was tough. I definitely recommend reading the 2 first books before starting this one.

I liked the characters. This seems kind of a fated love story. The attraction is there from the beginning and its interesting to see that they are very different from the previous couples. I liked kitty. I liked Finn so ill pick up the second book.

I really like historical steampunk-is fantasies and this one delivered.
