I received this ARC via Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press/Minotaur Books, in return for an honest review. This is the 11th offering of upcoming new releases and a wonderful way to learn about six either new-to-you authors or see what your favorite authors are releasing. For each new book, you get several chapters of their upcoming release. I’m delighted that I’d not read several and, after reading the new stories, immediately purchased them on Amazon for e-reading upon release. A fun aspect is that each book is set in a different locale so it’s a great chance to travel safely from home!
In 1914 New York City, death is alive and well on Broadway in Death of a Showman.
Visiting Edinburgh, Scotland, has never been safer than in Deadly Editions, as a transplanted American solves crimes in addition to her day job at a unique bookstore.
Bodies and Bows is set in Maine and niche shop owner, Iris, must solve another crime before someone she loves is charged.
How did a country music singer end up dead in the flipper motel that Whitney and her cousin are rehabbing in Murder with a View?
In Chilled to the Cone, a seasonal ice cream shop should be the perfect supplement to Torte’s amazing bakery and pizzeria, but things don’t go to plan when a body is found on the tracks nearby.
And it’s always a pleasure to return to the Ho-Lee Noodle House and see what Lana Lee’s up to – this time, she’s actually trying to learn the food served in her family’s restaurant when the surreptitious classes end in murder!
There’s a lovely set of different stories and this is a great way to decide if these should be added to your ‘must read’ pile in 2021. Enjoy!

I always look forward to the new editions of Cozy Case Files. Such a treat to be able to sample upcoming books from some of my readers' favorite authors. This, as always, is a good one. Can't wait to read all of the books featured. I really hope the publisher continues with this series.

I know quite a few mystery lovers who are not fans of cozy books, but I am not one of them. Give me all the heart racing, blood pounding thrillers, and then let me relax and enjoy a good cozy mystery. I am on a roll lately with enjoying excerpts and samplers, and this edition of Cozy Case Files was no exception. It featured six books and not just a page or two from each story, but enough to either grab your interest or let you know it was time to move on.
I hadn't read any books by these authors, and considering none of them are debuts, I cannot understand how I missed all of them. I guess I can chalk it up to so many good books, so little time! That is why I enjoyed this book so much. I tend to read about one cozy mystery every month, and now I can add these to my list. A very good sampler, and since this was Volume 11, I hope there will be more in the future.

I requested this sampler as a way to read some of the upcoming cozy mysteries and see what these authors are bringing to the table. I was certainly impressed. I cannot wait to be able to read them in full. It is terrible knowing I must wait until these books are either on sale or Netgalley to be read for reviews. The authors are all very talented as well as they are descriptive and used well thought out characters. Thank you to netgalley as well as the author for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

Generous Sampler Of Cozy Crime...
Volume eleven of the Cozy Case Files, a generous sampler of forthcoming cozy mysteries due to land Winter 2021. An enjoyable and entertaining mixed bag from some top authors in the field. These samplers always make for good reading and are an excellent way of testing the water if new to an author’s work or as a taster to anticipate your next read from your favoured author/s.

Cozy Case Files, A Cozy Mystery Sampler Volume 11 by assorted authors was an advanced reader copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is a collection of 6 samples of the latest stories by different authors. Vivien Chien, Ellie Alexander, and Paige Shelton are three of the six. I really enjoyed these and now want to finish them.

Cozy Case Files is the 11th promo chapter preview for upcoming releases. Due out 26th Jan 2021, from Macmillan on their St. Martin's Press imprint, it's 180 pages and will be available in ebook format. It's worth noting that the ebook format has a handy interactive table of contents as well as interactive links and references throughout. I've really become enamored of ebooks with interactive formats lately. This (and the 10 other promotional previews with chapter samples) are free to download and read.

This is a nicely curated selection of upcoming big-name cozies from a major publisher. I love using these collections to (try to) plan my TBR pile. At any rate, the generous previews give a good feel for the books and allow readers to find the ones which pique their interest. There are 6 series cozies included in this volume with both modern and historical timelines as well as American and European settings.

I have read and reviewed 3 of the 6 included books and the ones I've read have worked very well as standalone reads. High quality engaging cozies from a big name publisher. Release dates for all 6 are between December 2020 and April 2021.

Five stars. I do also enjoy small indie publisher offerings, but it's very nice to pick up a book from a larger publisher and know that what the reader is getting is well edited, well written, polished, and professionally finished.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

This sampler includes generous excerpts of cozy mysteries that will be published by St. Martin’s press over the upcoming months. Included are titles by by Vivien Chien, Ellie Alexander, Elizabeth Penney, Diane Kelly, Paige Shelton and Mariah Fredericks. Here are the descriptions provided by the publisher.

It’s 1914 New York, and a killer is stalking Broadway in Death of a Showman.

A treasure hunt through Edinburgh gives way to a search for a villain terrorizing the city in Deadly Editions. It’s the end of a beautiful Maine summer in Bodies and Bows, and apron shop owner Iris Buckley must track down a killer before her best friend is arrested for murder and everything unravels.

In Murder with a View, the body of a popular country music singer turns up in Nashville carpenter Whitney Whitaker’s latest real estate investment. Oregon’s favorite bakery Torte’s newest venture – a pop-up ice cream shop – is swirling into a nightmare in Chilled to the Cone.

And in Fatal Fried Rice, a delectable cozy set in Cleveland, Ohio, Lana Lee may be next on the chopping block when her cooking class turns deadly and Lana is forced to investigate to clear her name.

I am excited to read the full edition of a number of these titles.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.
