I just really enjoyed this book. It was just really easy to get lost in this book. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

I absolutely loved these stories! The Lodge/Freeze brothers jumped off the pages with their commanding presence. In “Against the Wall”, the oldest brother, Jake Lodge, meets his match in city girl Sophie Smith. Jake is a single dad and not looking for a relationship when Sophie storms her way in to his life. They are on opposing sides of land dispute, but the attraction between them is electric. From the minute they give in to temptation, they light up the page. Next up is town Sheriff, Quinn Lodge. He is worried about his re-election and needs the help of Juliet Montgomery. She is running as far away from her past as she can get. They come up with a plan for a pretend relationship that will help him with his campaign. What started out as fake, becomes very real just as Juliet’s past catches up with her. Finally, the youngest brother, Colton Freeze, gets his story. Colt and Melanie have been friends since they were little. After returning home from studying abroad, he starts to see Melanie as a woman and decides to go after what he wants. All of the stories blend really well and readers get to see and stay update on the lives of the characters throughout the book. I enjoyed reading about this family and the community that they live in.

I love me some great cowboy romances and this was right up my ally. I really enjoyed Rebecca Zanetti writing and it was really easy to get into. I couldn't put this book down and I loved all the sexy Alpha male. I will be reading more from Rebecca Zanetti. Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for letting me read and review this wonderful book.

****4.5 stars!****

Happiness really is a boxset called Montana Mavericks.

*happy sighs*

Oh, let me count the ways...

*ticks off fingers*

Not one hot cowboy story.

Not two hot and swoony cowboy stories.

But three hot, swoony and, (drum roll please) dominant cowboy stories.

Dayum, talk about testosterone overload! Like manna from heaven, I was in a trope-a-licious delight with the Lodge/Freeze brothers and the women that captured their hearts.

Each story is the perfect mix of sweet, spicy and a dash of suspense. *whispers* I swear I have never wanted to be pinned to a wall more! *snorts* What can I say? *shrugs* The brothers have a thing. Plus *taps chin*, how to put this delicately – (wait for it!) an oral fixation *coughs* was a common theme... *winks*

What was that?

Pfft, you know me, I don’t play favourites *whistles*.

Okay, okay – the Sheriff aka Quinn held a certain appeal. I blame the cuffs! *giggles*

Family, love, and honour are core values our cowboys hold dear, and when it comes to those they love, there are no lengths they won’t go to to protect them (metaphorically and physically) from harm.

What I love about Rebecca Zanetti’s writing is the way she effortlessly pulls you into the story and how you connect with the characters almost immediately. I mean, I’m not saying you become emotionally invested but... you totally do!

I could just go with flow and not overthink everything as I knew it would all come good in the end. Even with a few angsty (including voicing my opinion to certain characters) and heart in the mouth moments along the way.

You want to read this boxset now, don’t you? *smirks*

Annddd my work here is done!

MONTANA MAVERICKS is an anthology of the Maverick Montana books 1-3 of the series. These stories are filled with feisty heroines, alpha males who just happen to be small-town cowboys, danger and suspense, and of course romance of the sweet and steamy kind.

This collection includes 3 books in the Maverick Montana series. Each book features a sexy cowboy and their steamy journey into HEA. Three brothers, three fierce women and a small town.

Against the Wall: I loved Sophie and Jake's story. They had an instant attraction and their chemistry was sizzling hot. I don't usually enjoy insta-love romances, but there was enough content to make this romance not only believable but enjoyable too. This story worked very well as the first book in a series. I liked getting to know Jake's family members and the small town residents. They all added something to the story which made gave the story a good balance between the romance and the main plot of the story. It also gave the reader an insight into what to expect from the next books in the series--a steamy romance and a great mix of humor, drama and intrigue.

Under the Covers: Juliet and Quinn had been mentioned in the previous book and I was intrigued on how their story was going to play out. Unlike the previous book, Quinn and Juliet knew each other a little and had been dancing around each other for a while. They weren't exactly friends but they had interacted enough to know that there was an undercurrent of something between them. I enjoyed seeing them finally give in into their attraction as well and as seeing their initial connection grow. Their chemistry was already palpable, but it sure was a treat to finally see it explode into something more. Although their story wasn't necessarily light and fun, it still had a well-balanced use of elements. I enjoyed seeing the family and the town residents and all they added to the story as well as the romance and sizzling chemistry between Quinn and Juliet.

Rising Assets: Melanie and Colton's story was my favorite of this collection. I loved their camaraderie and banter, but I especially enjoyed watching them struggle and eventually accept how they felt about each other. True, it took them a while to come to terms with their feelings and what it would mean for their friendship, but they did and it all made for a fun, romantic read! Colton was hilarious in his denial, with his logical and methodical approach to their situation. I loved him. He was adorable in his delusion that they were just friends. Yeah, right, with that chemistry? I don't think so. Uff, it was H.O.T. Once again, the Freeze family and the town residents took this story to the next level with their antics and meddling. I loved it.

Although the Maverick Montana series consists of 4 books, this collection only includes 3 of them. And there were all fantastic. The fourth book (which I am definitely one-clicking soon!) tells Dawn (Jake, Quinn and Colton's baby sister) and Hawk's story.

4 stars

This boxset contains the first three books of the Maverick Montana series:

Against the Wall – Jake and Sophie, an opposites attract romance
Under the Covers – Quinn and Juliet, a fake relationship romance
Rising Assets - Colton and Melanie, a best-friends-to-lovers romance

These are the books of the Lodge/Freeze brothers, cowboys and members of a native tribe, living in the small town of Mineral Lake in Montana. I say cowboys, but there’s so much more to them than just the ranch that they share. Jake is an attorney, Quinn the county Sheriff, and Colton is a CEO and financial whiz. They share a wonderful bond, a strong sense of protectiveness, and a deep love for their family and their women. And each of them is alpha to the core.

Their heroines are strong women who each come from different backgrounds, and these books are really enjoyable romances. They are satisfyingly easy reads that are sweet and sexy with a little bit of drama, and each one becomes a bit more suspenseful than the last. But they are angst-free with light and funny moments, and the perfect easy escape reads.

Each book is a standalone that connects to the others in the series with a lot of character crossover. And the earlier books contain build-up for the later books, so definitely best to read them in order

I binged these books back to back, unable to let these characters or their quirky little town go. Fun, easy, sexy romance with a suspenseful twist, I loved this series.

4 stars!

Once you’ve read this collection, don’t forget to pick up the fourth book in the series – Over the Top, which is the story of the youngest Lodge/Freeze sibling, Dawn. It rounds out the series beautifully.

What a wonderful anthology of the first 3 books of Maverick Montana by Rebecca Zanetti. It's about small town, a modern Native American family and romantic suspense elements. No one writes family dynamics as well as Rebecca Zanetti. She does a perfect job of telling serious or suspenseful stories and breaking up the tension with laugh out loud humor.

Against The Ropes is the eldest of the Lodge-Freeze family, Jake Lodge who is a tribal lawyer. He finds himself tangling with a desperately determined big city golf course designer working for her Uncle's company that's on the edge financially. She has to land this development and convince this small town and the Kooskia Tribe to agree with this golf course.

Under The Covers is second eldest Quinn Lodge who is the county Sheriff. He is massively drawn to the town's art gallery owner Juliet Montgomery who has secrets. Quinn is being hassled by the Governor's niece and he's running for reelection. To keep her at bey he asks Juliet to be his fake date and in trade he'll suspend her rent at the gallery. Julia is out of money and is pretty sure her drug dealing step brother is hot on her heels and figures it's time to run again. She agrees to stay through the election and her brother finds her. Quinn has to step in to protect her with the rest of his very capable family.

Rising Assets is the next oldest brother, Colton Freeze's story with his best friend Melanie Jacoby. Melanie, Colton and Hawk Rain have been buddies their whole lives. Melanie has female problems and has decided if she's going to be a mother she'll have to save some eggs for the future. If that doesn't work, it's time for in-vitro now. When Colton thinks her long time dating partner Brian has knocked her up, he and Mel have a heated argument that becomes a torrid kiss. When the town that has no secrets gets involved it makes for some really humorous scenes.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this anthology. I also own the individual books. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Montana Mavericks!

Montana Mavericks contains the stories for 3 hot cowboys by Rebecca Zanetti. Family is what connects these three books, each one equally as good as the next. If you love strong female leads, and stubborn cowboys, this complication is designed to make you swoon, 3 times!

I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and Entangled Publishing. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.

I have read the books in this series before, but it is fun revisiting them and experiencing the family camaraderie all over again. The Lodge-Freeze family is a powerful dynamic and is accepting of all those around them

Against The Wall: I loved the instant connection between Jake and Sophie. They were on fire together and just had this strong magnetism that pulled them immediately to each other. Jake could be a little high handed at times. But i guess that is what makes him an alpha male. It appears that all the men in that family have that trait.

Under The Covers: We met Juliet briefly in Against The Wall and I laughed at Leila's mentioning her and the comments she made. But it was great to get her whole story. Her chemistry with Quinn was sizzling. Their sparks came through in all their scenes. He got a little over the top alpha on her few times, but she dished it right back, thus making their fire explode. Quinn is a very strict by the book sheriff and Juliet had secrets that were not so welcoming. Thankfully Quinn and Juliet got past the craziness and came to their senses. The whole family and community truly made this book that much more special.

Rising Assets: I love best friends to lovers themed stories and this one did not disappoint. Colton and Melanie had such a deep understanding of how the other was, a little afraid to go for more, not wanting to leave Hawk out of their friendship, but once the match lit, it was pretty much game over. I loved their feistiness with each other, challenging one another, and the humor they had between themselves and their family. Once again the Lodge-Freeze families take a huge part in this story and offer loads of entertainment and wisdom. And the betting on when Melanie and Colton would get together was icing on the cake.

I received this box set in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

This is a three book collection about 3 brothers who live and ranch in Montana. Each brother had a book and I have to say I really enjoyed each story. Jake, Quinn, and Colton are the three brothers, sexy alphas, and their three loves, Sophie, Juliet, and Melanie, who are all independent sassy females. Easy reading but Ms. Zanetti writes catchy dialogue, and the storylines were just enough different to be entertaining. I am a series reader anyway, so this book was my cup of tea. Now I have to look for the next book in this series!

This is a collection of three previously published books featuring the Lodge/Freeze brothers

The first book Against the Wall is Jake and Sophie's story. She's in town for her latest project when she's suddenly yanked atop a stallion by a very sexy cowboy. The last thing she expects is for him to be the lawyer opposing her company's project. He's a single father with a big family and the cutest little girl who says the funniest things. ( I think Jake is my favorite hero amongst the brothers)

The second book is Under the Covers. This is Quinn and Juliet's book. They've spent time avoiding each other and denying their attraction. Juliet figures it's for the best because she's hiding something. Quinn's PTSD has kept him from getting too serious with anyone. Now that they've started sleeping together he plans on keeping her.

Finally, we have Rising Assets. This one is about Colton and Melanie. They've been best friends for a long time, she's juggling a lot of things at once and Colton is where she seeks comfort. When a heated argument turns into an even hotter kiss they blur the lines of friendship.

If you love cowboys you can't go wrong with this collection. If you like Alpha cowboys Jake and Quinn definitely fulfill that trope. And Jake is my favorite.

Thanks so much to Entangled, Netgalley and the author for this ARC to review.

I’m a long-time fan of Rebecca Zanetti’s romantic suspense books. I can’t say I’m a huge cowboy hero fan, but I’m enough of a Rebecca Zanetti fan to overlook that and jump right in. Her books are known for the well-blended trifecta of romantic suspense: a captivating storyline with a captivating mystery and intrigue, a well-paced plot, and steamy scenes. And three books in one? Who could resist that?!

Wait. Did I say I wasn’t a huge cowboy hero fan? Might have to rethink that one after reading this collection! Those Lodge/Freeze boys (and gal!) have completely captured my curiosity. I’m not a 100% pure alpha hero fan, either, but in the end, these guys totally won my heart because they weren’t afraid to let their women be strong, independent, and successful in their own rights, despite some less than stellar comments from time to time. But then again, my own husband makes those and I have to remind him that while I respect his leadership in our family, he’s not a dictator, either. I think that’s a common theme among men in law enforcement and the military, but since these guys come around, I mostly forgave them for those slipups.

Whether you are drawn to cowboy heroes or not, I say give these guys a chance. I did, and I don’t regret a single second I spent in their world. With 3 books in one, I had to pace my reading, or I would have spent the majority of a 24-hour period without sleep. Now, please tell me Hawk gets a book!

I give Montana Mavericks by Rebecca Zanetti 4 out of 5 stars!

The perfect combination of romance, intrigue, suspense and steam

Against the Wall
I caught her, I get to keep her......this is what Jake says the very first time he meets Sophie
Their story was so much fun

I loved the "meddling" of his family from picnics, to family dinners to an art studio. Such a wonderful place for someone who felt like she never belonged to find herself.

Their chemistry was off the charts and the way that Leila takes to her immediately was precious.

Under the Covers
What an amazing story. Sparks definitely fly when a pretend relationship between the county sheriff and the art gallery owner heats up. Can they survive when her past secrets come out?

Rising Assets
Colton & Melanie have been best friends, along with Hawk, since preschool. They've always been there for each other. One kiss changes everything. Can these best friends get out of their own heads and see what has been right on front of them for so long?

This entire series was phenomenal and I had to immediately one-click the last book in the series to find out what happens!

Montana Mavericks by Rebecca Zanetti gives the reader three stories in one with the scorching Maverick Montana series. A story about a sexy, hot relationship that moves fast and impetuously. The characters are well-written and relatable, which pulls the reader in and holds the attention until the end.

Montana Mavericks: a hot cowboy collection by Rebecca Zanetti is a collection of previously published cowboy stories. Totally there is a set of four stories with three of them in this one anthology. I am not sure if these stories have been revised or updated in any way. Just know that the publisher is different now.

These stories were the first I had read of Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary stories back in the day. I knew her as a paranormal romance writer. She brings her steady moving plot, likable if stubborn male and her strong decisive female characters to the cowboy world. Expect some drama, some conflict, lots of steamy attraction heats up the pages and a happily ever after for these couples.

Against the Wall has lawyer Jake Lodge pitted against city girl Sophie Smith in the world of business. Definitely attraction between the two from the beginning even if they are on opposites sides on her business venture.

Under the Covers brings Juliet Montgomery looking to start a new life, leaving her past behind which is harder than it should be. Sheriff Quinn Lodge comes to her aid while trying to deny the growing attraction between them.

Rising Assets deals with the difficult subject of infertility and endometriosis. Real world heartbreak for many who want a baby. It is done with style and sensitiveness. A friendship to love story.

Romance so you expect a happily-ever-after by the end. The fun is the getting there. Contemporary cowboy romance fans will love this hot collection.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Yeehaw!

Anyone who loves a hot cowboy is quite simply going to love this cowboy compilation all in one easy place.

Don't be afraid though, these hot cowboys, and the women they fall for, are well worth a read, even one after the other.

I personally love cowboys and their, sometimes reluctant, cowgirls. Rebecca Zanetti can certainly draw the reader in and keep them entertained from start to finish. The beauty if this amazing compilation is that there is just so much more to enjoy.

I for one love a bargain and appreciate the idea of box sets or collections, giving the consumer value for money. Well done Entangled.

The most delicious three-course hot cowboy feast!

Mmmmmm, these three brothers are as hot as they come! A little bit dommy, a little bit spanky, a whole lot of power and control - these guys bring all the heat and all the heart to their heart-racing romances.

Jake is up first as he finds himself chasing his adversary, Sophie, as they tangle over development plans for the area. She's convinced she's not worth anything more than a fling, but when the unexpected happens, all the rules fly out the window and it's all she can do to hang on.

Next, Quinn takes on art gallery owner Juliet, who is hiding some very dangerous secrets. Quinn is up for reelection as sheriff and asks Juliet to pretend to be his girlfriend to deter his backers' attempts to set him up. Naturally, they aren't playing pretend for very long.

Finally, youngest brother Colton is forced to come to terms with his feelings for his childhood best friend, Melanie, when her health issues threaten the future she dreams of.

Throughout all three of these stories, we get to know the amazing community and extended family members. The boys' mother, Loni, is a wonderfully strong woman who loves fiercely and isn't afraid to bet on their success. The stories include several other important characters, friends and family members alike, making this a truly unforgettable trip to a charming Montana town.

If you love hot cowboys, independent women, love worth fighting for, and a community that becomes your second home, you owe it to yourself to grab this book and plan your visit to Maverick, Montana. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I enjoyed all three stories in Montana Mavericks (Maverick Montana 1-3) by Rebecca Zanetti. These brothers are the Alpha males that make romances so addictive.

Against the Wall starts with a unique meet-cute as Jake sweeps Sophie off her feet. Literally. I liked both Jake and Sophie. They're smart, competent and neither plays games with their attraction. Sophie isn't looking for a new guy, even though the current one doesn't make her heart sing, and she's definitely not looking for a relationship so far from home so she's not immediately willing to get together with Jake but once she realizes how deeply she's attracted to him, she goes with it despite the potential issues. I loved watching her being woven into the fabric of the local society both within the tribe and out. There's suspense that I won't spoil for you but it's a nice addition to the sweet love story and Jake is a rock star throughout.

Under the Covers is Juliet and Quinn's story. It has plenty of built-in suspense thanks to the family Juliet is hiding from. Her brother is a real piece of work but nothing Sheriff Quinn can't deal with. He's also running for election which adds some typical and not so typical challenges to their relationship. Like Sophie, Juliet isn't looking for a guy but can't resist Quinn.

Rising Assets features Melanie and Colton who've been best friends since forever. They've never considered dating but... well you know what happens. Melanie also has external challenges that must be dealt with and raise questions about the couple's future.

I liked each couple and enjoyed watching them grow closer. Zanetti used just the right amount of give and take without making the reader frustrated or bored with the story's progress. The extended community including the brother's mother, father and sister add lots of color and are fun. The entire town welcomes the women in and protects them like one of their own very quickly.

I can recommend this trilogy for anyone who likes westerns, romance, suspense and wants a sweet happily ever after.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled: Amara for the ARC.
