I love the format of these prayers, with such a range of topics. They're clearly laid out with a prayer, verse and reflection which I would totally use in small groups or even to build into bigger intercessions. The only difficulty is that it'd be ideal with a contents page with the topics each verse covers, or even put into sections with the overall main theme as the header. It would make the book more user friendly in an emergency prayer style situation where you don't have your own words.

This is an easy to use book of prayers. Each prayer is set up with a verse, a prayer, and a short reflection. It could easily be used as a way to start a class or meeting. I would've like there to be either a table of content or an index to more easily review the titles of the prayer as I often look for something that fits a feeling or a topic and that makes it easier than scrolling through the book. Other than that, I think this book does a good job at meeting it's purpose, short easy to follow but potentially inspiring prayers.

Thank you #NetGalley, Linda Hang, and Barbour Publishing for an advanced copy of Look Up in exchange for an honest review.

Linda Hang invites you to just look up and focus on your heavenly Father. Too many things in this world distract us, worry us, cause us fear and anxiety. Oftentimes, those said things rob us of words to cry out or to overwhelm us to where we don’t even know where to start. Not to minimize anything that any of us are facing, but the solution is simple: just Look Up. This sweet devotional offers 200 prayers for a woman’s heart to remind you to just talk to God in the midst of anything and everything. These are meant to be prayer starters. This would make a great for a new or young believer who is just starting on their prayer journey or someone who is overwhelmed and numb and just doesn’t even know where to start. Grab a pen and journal and allow yourself to just talk to God!
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own, freely given.
