Smoke Chase is a devilishly good historical piece of fiction and a highly entertaining murder mystery. With a somber and socially restless Victorian atmosphere in the background, Mr. Callan 's delightful plot takes us down a twisty path full of finally drawned characters and great dialogues. This was an unputdownable winner from start to finish. To be enjoyed without moderation👍👍
