The Demon Tide is the latest release in The Black Witch Chronicles and it does not disappoint. This book is packed with characters that are featured in the two prequels so reading all of the back catalogue is recommended in order to really understand what is happening here. And what is happening here is that there is a war and instead of banding together to fight the big bad politics and infighting are taking over. Elloren is our main character here but we're gifted with several POV's and it's through everyone's different perspective that the entire plot comes together. All throughout the book the message of love and acceptance is repeated. It is an important message and one that isn't lost even when characters are reunited and forever changed. Cannot wait for the next one!

Wow. Where to start. I am shook to my core. This is EASILY one of the best reads of 2022. I wish more people were shouting this series from the roof tops. The chills that I received reading. I scream. I cried. I got chills. It was everything I wanted and more. I'm still trying to put into words how much this book made me feel and how it truly should be considered a required reading.
