I really loved this sweet, contemporary romance. This isn't your average enemies-to-lovers trope, and it takes some unexpected turns along the way. The only reason I didn't give this books 5 stars is because the main character just isn't very likable, to be honest. There's character development and growth, but you can't help but kind of feel sorry for this girl who relies so much on other people to help her. All told though I loved the Paris setting and I would definitely recommend this as a light vacay read.

The Paris Connection is a sweet, finding yourself, light read which is exactly what I was looking for. It did make me a little anxious with the whole not train splitting, not getting where she needed to be. Once in Paris, I loved the setting and all of the fun places Hannah and Leo visited. I will definitely be reading more from Lorraine Brown.

DNF at 23%

I thought The Paris Connection was a good concept for a story: getting stuck in Paris and falling in love with a haters-to-lovers trope. However, the protagonist is so incompetent and annoying that I stopped after 23%.
