In THE KNOWING, Wayne Dyer's daughters Saje Dyer and Serena Dyer Pisoni share the deep knowing they received from their beloved late father and carry it forward into the future. The love for an incredible human being, teacher, and father shine through every word on every page along with their grief and coming to terms with a world without his gentle, brilliant light. As a lifelong Wayne Dyer fan, I was drawn to this book to learn about his legacy and how his teachings are carried forward by his beloved children. However, possibly due to my own experiences as a grieving child and loving parent, I could not get into this book at all. No doubt there are nuggets of wisdom and heartfelt intelligence, but the grief and the overwhelm that resonate through the words blocked the insight and perspective I'd expected. I received an advance reader copy from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my unbiased review.

The Knowing is a beautiful book written by two of Wayne Dyers' daughters. I was a little unsure about reading it after studying and listening to their fathers teachings for so many years. I loved Wayne and everything he taught and stood for. However the book is a wonderful read, and you can feel his spirit and sunshine in every part of it. The girls are excellent writers and definitely do justice to his memory. Despite it being from the heart and the grief of his loss is shared openly, it is a book full of hope, sunshine and gentle spiritual guidance. It is about real life, loss and challenges, and demonstrates how to keep returning to love even in the darkest of times. I will happily add this book to my treasured 'Wayne Dyer' collection and hope they will continue to write. I believe they have achieved a their own writing style with a new and fresh feel, while also continuing to breath life into their Father's message. What a wonderful book.
