This book reads like a webpage on how to build an engagement for your shop, but not necessarily within the field of wellness. It's plain, hasn't a lot of depth, and is actually quite a weird read. It seems like it is targeted at a new business, but it keeps mentioning all the levels (IT dep., managers, etc.) that is more common in bigger businesses. The last page, with an encouragement for the reader to visit the author's website, feels like this book is actually meant to plug just that.

For me, as a starter, this book kicked in many open doors and didn't provide me any helpful information, unfortunately.

A brief and basic guide to marketing. I didn’t find out about how to promote a wellness business; this book could be suitable for any business. Giving it 3 stars as I believe it would help with new businesses.

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

This is a very basic guide to marketing a business. There was nothing in this book specific to health and wellness which was disappointing. The information is so simple that you could easily find it on the internet or in an average marketing book.

I went to school to become an RN and then back to school to become a Holistic Health Nurse Coach. I have been reading so many books, blogs, and guides to business growth and development. I was thankful to NetGalley and Dr. Rissy's Writing & Marketing for the opportunity to read this book. I was hoping to glean some tips that would impact my Holistic Health Coaching business.

Unfortunately, this book was not helpful. It was very basic information; I felt like the author took a general marketing book and slapped "wellness" in the title. It was also incongruent--talking to the business owner just starting out and then addressing your sales team, support team, marketing team, etc.
