The Tiny Kitchen by Annie Mahle is the perfect book for college students, single people, two person meals, tiny kitchens, and several others.

This book was well organized and not only gave unique recipes with little clean up, but I appreciated the ideas of what do with let overs such as pizza, omelets, soups, etc.

The introduction of tools and items was a little boring to me (as my kitchen is pretty much set up like this,) but it could be helpful to others.

I would have liked to have seen a few more photos of the food.

I found the formatting of the review copy VERY difficult to navigate, but I am sure the book will be well organized.

I received an eARC from Storey Publishing through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

This is a must for those who live alone, have a small kitchen or students! The book contains everything you need to be able to cook, not be stressed out and most of all enjoy it. The author has delivered exactly what she said she will and help you to be able to cook if you have a small kitchen and are limited to utensils etc. This would be perfect as a hard copy, it is a little difficult as an e-book, unfortunately.,

I like this book, it helps you prioritise what you actually need in your kitchen. How to utilise your space wisely and efficiently and above all plan for simple and nutritious meals. I have this book as an ebook and will have it with me on my travels. These recipes can be made in a mobile home, camping stove, two-ring burner stove in a holiday apartment abroad. It is certainly worth the investment.

Thank you to #Storey Publishing, LLC and to #NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a great cookbook which contained a lot of really nice recipes and some useful tips.

Don't let the premise of the book ("Tiny Kitchen") deter you. I feel that the recipes and tips could be adapted for any size of kitchen.

For anyone who likes to cooks and experiment as I do, then you will find this to be a nice addition to your cookbook library.

I always enjoy reading and reviewing cookbooks. This one had a unique spin in that it addressed the functionality issues surrounding cooking in small kitchens. I enjoyed some of the tips for organization and the practicality of the advice. Whether you have a tiny or large kitchen, everyone can benefit from this cookbook. Not only are the organizational suggestions universal, the recipes are wonderful and require less "stuff" to prepare than many recipes often do. I look forward to trying some of these in the near future.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

This is a fab cookbook for those with big and small kitchens. It has some really useful tips and information about organising your kitchen and keeping it tidy. The recipes are really easy to follow and can be made in all kitchens big or small.

A very useful cookbook for people living in a small space, or with a small kitchen. Having lived in japan for 7 years I know exactly the constraints of that and enjoyed many aspects of the book, though it might have been more useful to me when I was younger and before I made my own theories and adapted my way of cooking to my small kitchen. About 1 out of 4 recipes has a picture and to me that wasn't enough. I also thought there weren't that many recipes in the book . But I did appreciate the breaking down of a soup, not so much giving a recipe but giving some instructions about how to use up left overs or layer some flavours. An interesting book but maybe not quite for me.

This is an interesting cookbook.

With the unique perspective of cooking on boats this book has advice for organizing, stocking, and cooking in small kitchens. Some of the recipes are more time intensive than I expected given the kitchen size and there's not as many pictures of the food as I'd like. That being said there are some great tips in this book for making flavorful meals that are unique in small spaces.

This is a helpful book for prepping for a small kitchen.

I received an ARC from Netgalley and publisher in exchange for a review! #netgalley #TheTinyKitchenCookbook

I am planning a move to Japan this summer to teach and with a smaller apartment, I will have a small kitchen. When I saw the opportunity to read and review this Tiny Kitchen Cookbook by Annie Mahle, I jumped on the opportunity! I found this cookbook so useful and interesting! It is full of not just recipes, but tips and tricks that I hadn’t considered before when planning what I would need! I wish I had this cookbook when I was in college as well. Readers can expect to feel confident that they can make truly gourmet dishes in even the smallest of cooking spaces. I would have liked for every recipe to have some sort of accompanying photo, but that would be my only suggestion on improving this book.

Thank you for letting me read this advanced copy. It's a handy book with good ideas and advice for small kitchens, less waste, reducing clutter, smells and food waste and using leftovers. Some nice recipes that I will try and can refer back to. Pictures are pretty good but maybe I would change the font a little. Nice book! Thank you

Reviewing this book from the UK (to clarify my comments).

A genuinely comfortable, cosy sort of cooking book/kitchen manual written in an easy, friendly and accessible style. Great colour photography giving inspiration to any cook, not just those with tiny kitchens, living off grid or choosing to live a simpler life, this book should appeal to everyone.

Annie Male gives some sound advice on equipment, ingredients and importantly, planning meals, using up left overs creating delicious, nutritious meals.

The Tiny Kitchen Cookbook recipes are clear and easy to follow, ingredients/measures are listed in American terms but this shouldn't prevent anyone from being able to replicate the recipes here in the UK.

Overall, a book that I will certainly recommend to those looking for a one stop reference to all manner of hints and tips that we all read in different places but then forget to do! It will be in my kitchen for sure.

My kitchen isn't quite as small as the author's (her's is a galley on a sailboat), but my small kitchen is in need of more space and I needed some ideas! Found some good ones I'd like to use when I remodle my kitchen! Most of the book is recipes for cooking for 2 people, but included some for a bigger group. I liked the Ms. Mahle uses up leftovers and plan to try some! Good book for those with tiny houses!

Having just moved from a 2500s.f house to a 30ft RV, I was excited to find this book. The most important part of this book to me was Part One-storage and setup. A big plus is having pictures of the recipes, even though most of the recipes included ingredients my family would never eat and I would not have on hand.

Really lovely cookbook aimed at people with small kitchens! Loved the elegant recipes, most of them quite simple and seemingly easy to do, suitable to the small kitchen environment. Looking forward to trying many of them!

This is a lovely gourmet cookbook designed for people who are cooking in very small kitchens and with limited pots, pans, space and ingredients. Beautiful color photographs accompany about 1/3 of the recipes. No nutritional information is provided. The recipes tend to use animal products and gluten, but there are some recipes that will work for people on special diets or that can be adapted easily. Lots of tips are provided for making the most of small spaces and keeping a sparse pantry while still making rather fancy dishes. Some recipes are designed to be cooked in a toaster oven or one pot, with sidebars on things like how to cook pasta dishes all in one pot. The recipes are fairly simple but elegant and tend to use rather pricey, fresh ingredients. The author lives on a boat and the photos of her tiny kitchen are beautiful and inspirational. Since our family has special dietary needs and there is no nutritional information provided, I wasn't able to try any of the recipes without serious adaptations. That said, I'm sure it will be a fantastic cookbook for most.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.

This cookbook had many good recipes and I like the focus on small spaces. I have a tiny kitchen with limited counterspace so it's nice to have recipes that don't require thirty different things at once!

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

This book is filled with gorgeous photos of small kitchen inspiration and many globally inspired recipes. I appreciated the beginning section which offers helpful tips for organization and storage. The recipes all sound amazing, but my personal favorites are pistachio dukkah, patatas bravas, garam masala chevre in a pita salad, and honey, chili, and lime chicken. The recipes use minimal pots and pans, have easy to find ingredients, and are clearly written. This would make an excellent gift for someone who is new to a small kitchen set-up or someone who prefers minimalism and having a few quality tools in the kitchen, rather than all the bells and whistles. Highly recommended!

Wow...this was an amazing cookbook! Picturesque and filled with some cool information on how to navigate with a tiny kitchen. I admire the authors skill with the recipes and sound kitchen advice. Truly a remarkable read.

What did I like? We’ve all been there...tiny kitchens I mean. The amount of kitchen stuff you think you need is crazy. With this book, the author navigates a ship kitchen, a galley kitchen if you will. I found it to be a charming idea, and positively salivated through the recipes.

Would I recommend or buy? I would love a copy of this fun filled and gorgeous recipe book. I would recommend it to anyone liking an American cuisine with a flair for regality. This is not an average recipe book with recipes involving higher end foods. I’ve bookmarked a few recipes to try. Five stars for a great cookbook!

I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left a review!

This book was received as an ARC from Storey Publishing, LLC in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

Just when I thought my day could not get any better, I found this cookbook. I have a very tiny kitchen in my apartment and I have been looking for ways to keep my kitchen neat and clean to speed up my prep or mise en place and be ready for cooking on my stove and oven. All of the recipes look absolutely delicious and so easy to make but I especially can’t wait to make the jalapeño corn cakes and I know they will be a nice treat for our family.

We will consider adding this title to our TX Non-Fiction collection at our library. This is why I give this book 5 stars.

This book tells you way and strategies for cooking from scratch in a tiny kitchen. The author's kitchen is a 2 feet by 3 feet tiny kitchen in a galley so the book is mainly her experience cooking in a small space. There are tips of how to organize your work area, space saving and equipments. The author also talks about meal planning, leftovers and then there are lots of recipes. The recipe didn't look very appealing for me but I liked the tips and info in the beginning of the book. Also, the recipe names are very long, for example: “Harissa and lemon cornish game hen with carrots, parsnips, and red onion”. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review
