This is a quick read and a pleasant way to while away a cold winter afternoon. It's a sweet romance with a likable protagonist, a young woman planning to go to law school who has been left by the prospective groom on her wedding day for her best friend. She ends up working as a paralegal for a handsome but distant boss, and before long a romance kindles between the two. The characters aren't particularly well-developed and the romance arising out of their initial antagonism seemed to me to happen a bit too suddenly, but those who enjoy an undemanding story with a happy ending will enjoy this one.
