I appreciate the publisher allowing me to read this book. I found this book incredibly interesting the author really kept me hooked until the end. very well written I highly recommend.

The English King: England: The Second Viking Age was a great read to go back in time with. I am giving it four and a half stars.

this was a strong entry for the tenth book in the Earls of Mercia series, the time period was great and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters.

I enjoyed the continuation of the series by Porter. The interpersonal relationships and the interaction with the royal court was interesting. The book has many twists and turns.
