I'm going to go ahead and join the echo of readers saying B.A. Paris has done it again. The plot was filled with red herrings, legitimate clues, and countless suspects. There were truly so many pieces to consider that I couldn't put this book down. Even though I figured out some of the twists, there were still a couple of gasp-worthy moments. If you love thrillers, definitely pick this one up.

B. A. Paris is one of my favorite authors. I really tend to enjoy the British psychological thrillers more than the American ones. (This is true for the most part for me, but there are some very good American ones.)

This book did not disappoint and I was guessing right up to the very end. This is a suspenseful and satisfying page turning read. If you were somehow unhappy with her last book, The Dilemma, this one will redeem your favor to read Paris.

Leo and girlfriend Alice move into a house in a gated community known as The Circle. Alice wants so badly to fit in and form friendships with her neighbors, but can't help thinking something is off.

And then, little by little, Alice starts learning things about Leo, the house and the neighborhood.....ansmd the reader learns more about the therapist.

This book is impossible to put down!

Once again, B.A. Paris has written an amazing thriller. I have been a huge fan of her's since her first novel Behind Closed Doors. Although I have loved all of her novels, this one gave me the same sense of excitement and fear as i stayed up way too late reading it and it was done in a day.

Alice and Leo have been dating long distance for about a year and a half before they decide to move in together in London, a compromise for both of them. Leo picks out the house in a gated community and Alice does not see it until she moves in. From the very beginning, she has an off feeling about the house however she loves Leo and wants it to work out..and things are working out until Alice finds out about a murder that took place in her new home and that Leo knew about it and kept it from her. With her trust in him broken, their relationship is on the rocks as Alice decides to try to solve the murder herself since she doesn't believe the real killer was solved.

This book was full of twists and turns and kept me guessing until the end. Every time I thought I had solved it, something else would happen that would make me question everything again.

Alice and her boyfriend have moved into a neighborhood called they circle. Alice is excited and wants to make friends with the neighborhood women. As the characters intermingled you are aware of an underlying sense of secrecy. Alice can feel this and is curious as to what that secret may be. Then she is horrified to discover that the previous owners died in her house. A murder, suicide! She is angry her boyfriend had not informed her of this. As she talks to her neighbors she is uncomfortable with the murder, suicide scenario. Asking questions can get you killed.
I was given this book to read and review by the publisher. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. You don't know where it's going next. I would recommend this.

The Therapist by B.A. Paris is destined to be a hit with the author's legions of fans. I was ecstatic when offered the chance to read an advanced copy, and I was not disappointed. To me, any B.A. Paris novel is cause for celebration. The writing is sharp, addictive, and I was there for every word.

Leo and Alice have found the house of their dreams in an exclusive London enclave known as The Circle. As Alice makes an effort to get to know her new neighbours, secrets begin to emerge which leave her unsettled and fearful. It seems that the new home has a history which has been hidden by those closest to Alice, and she must unravel the mystery of a woman whose circumstances do not sit well with the new homeowner.

Once again, B.A. Paris has conjured a chilling and twisty tale that will have you riveted. 4.5 stars

Alice and Leo move into a newly renovated house in a gated community called The Circle' Alice feels like all is going well, until she gets the unwelcome news that their home's previous owner was murdered there.... and Leo knew about it and intentionally hid it from Alice. As Alice starts digging around to get answers about the previous owner and what happened to her, she begins to worry that one or more of her neighbors may have had a hand in Nina's murder.
Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of this author's books. I have read all of their books and was really excited to read this one. That said, this one just wasn't my favorite. It was good, just not their absolute best work. It is definitely worth reading though. It will keep you guessing until the end. This is great for anyone who enjoys psychological thrillers.

The Therapist is about a young woman who moves into a new home and finds out her house was the scene of a murder, the previous owner was killed there and her husband was erroneously blamed. This novel was very readable. The main character was quite wishy washy for my tastes. Not a strong character. The author does give the reader plenty of suspects, however, the finale is anything but a surprise.

I enjoyed this book, it was a fast-paced and easy domestic suspense novel. Didn't knock my socks off- this is a three star book for me

I got to about 75% of The Therapist and thought it was good, but not overwhelmingly good. Certainly not like her other books. Well, I spoke to soon! That last 25% pushed me to the end of my seat and left me there! All the twists & turns (and truths) came tumbling out! This has to be my new favorite by her. Thank you so much!

I am always excited to read anything by this author. This book was a good mystery that kept me guessing about the loose ends for the duration. It was a good read although I was hoping for a little more suspense in the story. Definitely in the BA Paris style that I love.

B.A. Paris is a master storyteller. In this book she manifests an entire world for you by transporting you into a secluded elite neighborhood in London. I’ve never set foot in London but thanks to this book I feel like I’ve lived there.

Alice has just taken a leap of faith with her budding romance to live together in a gated community called The circle. Upon moving she meets the small group of neighbors and discovers that she is in fact living in a home where a murder occurred. Due to personal trauma and issues she becomes beyond obsessed with this detail. It definitely isn’t healthy and not at all relatable.

She becomes like a dog with a bone hunting down information from her neighbors, exploring out there ideas in her mind and even pretending she’s talking to the ghost of the victim. As the reader you wish she would of gotten help or confided to someone close to her.
The story is engrossing and full of twists. At the end you even get tired of the main character’s obsession and just want to know the truth. Which makes you realize now you’re just as obsessed as Alice.

I didn’t see the end happening and I found that very satisfyingly perfect.

If you’re into mystery thrillers this one is a definite must read for you.

As soon as I saw the email I knew I was going to say yes,because out of all of her books I've read only one was a let down , all of the others was 4 stars to five star reads for me just like this one and this one had everything I love about her books, plus its had me hook from the beginning, with its twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. And I loved how it kept me wanting to know everything about the community , and I do mean everything which includes their dirty little secrets . As well as waiting to know who could be trusted or even any of them could be . And I loved how at times you would be reading and then the author would have you feeling creeped out by something that you wouldn't see coming. With that said this is more like her style of writing and the style that I've grown to love . Can't wait to see what else she comes up with

Okay, she's done it again. Hands down, best book of 2020 so far.
I always try to figure out the ending along the way but I am always wrong. Always. The Therapist was no different. I love that there are little tid bits throughout the book, littered like clues, but you don't fully grasp what is happening til around the same time as the mc.
The Therapist, and all others by Paris, are true works of art.

Alice and Leo have had a long distance relationship for over a year and are ready to move in together. Leo finds an incredible house in London in a gated community and the price is right. Everything is going well until Alice finds that Leo has deceived her about a death in the house.

This was quite the page turner, I hated that I had to leave it to do real life things. The book kept me guessing until the very end which is usually hard to do. You were never sure if the neighbors were who they said they were, they had a Stepford neighborhood feel. You didn't know who to trust. B. A. Paris never disappoints me.

This was my first B.A. Paris title. While well-written and tightly suspenseful, without giving too much away, the parts that truly interested me were not developed as much as I would like. It had interesting twists.

I was over the moon excited when I got approved for The Therapist! I absolutely love B.A Paris and this did not disappoint!! This book was everything I wanted from her latest book! You feel invested and have to find out who murdered Nina along side Alice! There were several spots throughout I thought I had it figured out but nope and I didn't start suspecting the real killer until towards the end. I loved how Paris wrapped it up and unfolded the plot before my eyes!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 from me!!!

WOW is all I can say!! B.A. Paris has done it again!! The Therapist blew my mind and you won't believe who did it. Any one of the cast of characters could have been the culprit which kept me flipping the pages until the very end. I highly recommend The Therapist especially to those who love a good thriller. Would be great in your beach bag this summer.

It is situated in an exclusive gated neighborhood and Alice tries to make friends with the other ladies in the Circle, but there always seems to be something that they are holding back. Then Alice hears some very disturbing news through her realtor, something that Leo knew, but had kept from Alice. Alice is determined to find out the secrets that the Circle seems to hold and she begins to suspect that her new neighbors have a lot to hide.
I did enjoy this book, it keeps you guessing and that is what a real mystery is all about.
