A short story that has a wife who is bored and starting an affair only to see that man involved in a car accident and when arriving at the hospital there is another woman there. really can of seeing where everything was going before it happened.

I received a complimentary copy of Betrayal in exchange for an honest review. This was a super quick read and very to the point with a predictable twist at the end. It's worth the read to see if you can predict the ending.

I am sorry to say, I had a hard time with the writing style of this short story. It is less than thirty pages, but there is an excessive use of exclamation marks throughout, which I found very distracting. Had I been drawn to the characters and the story I could have overlooked that, but I DNF'd around the halfway mark.

There! are! so! many! exclamation points! one of my biggest literary pet peeves and so many of them are unnecessary. I didn't expect a short story, and so can't really give a proper review as there just wasn't enough there to review. If it was padded out into a full novel I'm sure it would be good, if predictable.

Betrayal by John Allan Spencer left me feeling a bit disillusioned as I had no idea when I started reading that this was a short story. You basically got the gist of the summary except for a twist in the final two sentences of the story. #Betrayal #NetGalley

There! Are! So! Many! Exclamation! Marks! That I had to stop reading as that is my literary pet peeve.

NOTE: I was given an ARC in exchange of an honest review.

I was disappointed with this and not sure if that is a misunderstanding from my side. I didn't realise this was a short story and it was basically what the blurb was which I found a little disappointing I was a expecting a book. I do think it has the potential to make a really good book.

Was a super quick read. Was just like watching a science happening in a film. I actually feel sorry for Helen. She’s not happy with Henry as his to boring. Finds comfort in Edward to only find out after Edward had a cat crash that Helen has been played but Helen ends up with a double wammy.
