Julia’s baby by Natasha Murray

Seth and Julia are running away from past lives and dysfunctional families and got to Ireland as Seth used to live there. They both manage to find work but unfortunately the past comes calling.

A story with twists and turns a very descriptive story highlights the push countryside and it beauty. Will it all come good for Seth and Julia and survive their pasts and manage to succeed in the lives they hope for?

Having read the first book of this series named, 58 Farm End, I was looking forward to reading this one.

The writers style can be a little rushed in places, but overall the storyline made me want to find out what was going to happen.

You don't have to read the first book, but I'm glad I did as the characters were much better for the second

I look forward to the next installment.

The exciting second book in the Waterfall Way Series.
After only knowing her boyfriend Seth Hearn for a month Julia is on the run with him from West Sussex to Ireland. I have enjoyed this book as much as I did the first and was intrigued while reading it.
They must find work there and they do. Things are looking up with them starting a new rewarding life, that is until the past catches up with them.
Looking forward to the next installment in this series!

I just couldn't get into this book. I'm sure it's wonderful but just not for me. It was not interesting enough for me to continue reading it

This is part of a series and I hadn't read the first one,so felt I had missed some of the backstory. I liked the characters who had been through a lot but the story didn't really keep me interested.

Argh - why didn’t I read the first book in the series before this one?! The book stands alone but I liked it so much I feel like I missed an opportunity by not reading Book One before it. It’s a fast paced mystery. I thought, when I read the summary, it might be close to the “cozy mystery” genre because of the setting, but that is not the case. It’s not quite “gritty” but it’s certainly not always a comfortable read. At times, the characters are difficult to like and I think that made it more realistic.

Waterfall Way

Seth and Julia are running away for dysfunctional families in England. They are escaping to Ireland where Seth used to live. They go to Waterfall Way where Seth gets a job in a riding school and Julia helps run the Bed and Breakfast at Waterfall Way for May the owner.

All is well and good until his psychotic mother shows up and tries to kidnap Julia. His mother thinks that Julia is Ann a woman that his mother, Margaret, murdered. Then Seth finds out she is not even his mother but his aunt. They cannot call the police because Seth is on the run from skipping parole.

They earn some extra money by singing on the street corner in Cork and eventually in the Elbow bar. They sing as S&J.

The ending is exciting and unexpected but very appropriate for the book. I loved the way it ended.

The book is a romantic thriller. It is a good book, I really enjoyed the songs they wrote and sang. The songs were written in the book. The Irish countryside was well described and I got a good feeling for how the country looked. I loved the meadow of flowers.
I would recommend this book.

Thanks to Natasha Murray, BooksGoSocial, and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy.

Thank you Natasha Murray and Netgalley for the advance copy of the 2nd book in the Waterfall Way Series. Julia and her boyfriend Seth are forced to flee their family homes in Sussex to picturesque Ireland. They find work and a home working for May at her riding stables and guest house. They are also making a name for themselves as buskers and singing in a local pub. Life is going great until the past comes looking for them. Absolutely delightful read that I couldn't put down. Looking forward to the next installment.
