Mochi is adorable and so predictable. If you love dogs and think they have a way of talking to you, then Living with Mochi is a fun read for you. This graphic novel is funny with perfect illustrations to portray Mochi’s expressions.

This was a very cute and quick graphic novel. Very relatable for anyone with a pet who thinks they are people.

This was so cute omg!! I've always wanted a dog, but my parents never let me, so we have a cat instead. Even though I'm a cat owner, some situations are so relatable. For example them sleeping all day and everywhere where you are. Always being hungry.. I definitely LOL'ed at some pages hahah.
I really liked this comic full of day to day life situations and the perks of being a dog owner. Would really recommend!
Thanks to the author and publisher for giving me a free copy in exchange for an honest review!

I've never had a life with a pug, but I have known several pugs and pug-people. And a lot of these ring true for what I've seen from them and from their stories. 🤣 Some of these comics are definitely pug-specific quirks, though a lot are also universal-dog-owner moments. Honestly I picked this up because I haven't had a pet dog since I was a child and I am finally, FINALLY about to be able to have one again soon. I was hoping desperately for a reminder/primer/preview of what I can look forward to (and brace myself for). This definitely fulfills all those boxes.
The simple art and layout is perfect for highlighting the messages and emotions. You might have three panels where only minor details change, and that ends up being exactly the right way to tell the story. Mochi is as cute as his namesake. ^.^
One style issue I had with this was that the font was sometimes very hard to read. It seemed to be too thin in places, and pieces of letters would be missing. I could make out what it said, but sometimes it did take a moment and interrupted the flow of the experience a little bit. I had a digital copy, so hopefully it's only an issue with that, and not something that will persist in the published copies!

This is an adorable short book of webcomics about Gemma and her pug Mochi, with a supporting cast of her husband and their families. I'm a big-dog person myself, but this was still very relatable. I laughed out loud at a few of the situations. This would be a great gift for someone who loves pugs or similar tempered small dogs.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for honest feedback. I thought that this book was adorable! I was often smiling at the antics of Mochi. Anyone who has known the love for a cute companion pet knows what it's like to go through the day with a great addition to your life. So, why not transfer this blessing into the graphic art form? This book is a cute homage to a beloved pet and probably would make a cute gift for pug / dog lovers.
PS - my favorite page was the one where Mochi was dreaming of tacos. Too right.

Free ARC from Netgalley.
This book is about life with the pug Mochi. He loves to sleep. And eat. And sleep. And eat. And sleep. And his owner. Not other dogs.
This is a fur-parents memoir made into a webcomic now made into a book.
It's like reading about having a cat really, other than going for walks. But it's really relatable. And cute. So cute! And since it's a comic, it's read so fast. No reason not to read this one!

This was a very cute and simple graphic novel that I enjoyed.
The art style is nice and I loved reading about Mochi. Not only is the name perfect for a pug, but how can anyone not love his face?
That being said I probably would have enjoyed it more of Mochi didn't speak. This is a personal criticism and I'm sure most people wouldn't mind, but I found silent panels to be more enjoyable since it felt more realistic to me.
Some of the slides reminded me of my old dog, and since I love pugs so much it brought me joy to read about Mochi. I think many people would pick this up and enjoy the happiness of this little pup and his lovely personality.

Very cute, very fluffy, very relatable to anyone with pets! The art style is simple, and so are the comics; there's not really a joke or a point beyond, "look at my dog!" Still, it's a cute little slice-of-life-with-dogs compilation, and while I'd probably rather see these kind of comics occasionally as I scroll through Instagram rather than read a whole book of them, I think this book would be great for people who really love their dogs, or dogs in general. Very sweet!

This is a super cute graphic novel that embodies what it is to be a pet owner and they are all soo relatable! As a lover of animals I just enjoyed it so much! I loved the art and the stories are completely endearing! This was a perfect pick me up and exactly what I needed to read, just feel good wholesomeness! Highly recommend to all the pet owners of the world.

This is adorable. Mochi is such a fun comic to follow and he seems like such a good boy. It's so fun to see so many comics about him all in one collection.
These comics are funny, sweet, and full of heart. I recommend this for every dog lover out there.

Rating: 4/5 stars.
“Living With Mochi” is an adorable collection of comics featuring the author’s pet dog and their friends. I thoroughly enjoyed the mixture of graphics presented, from funny and comical plights, to heart-felt and emotional stories. I only wish that it touched on some more universal themes, as some of the jokes and anecdotes were hard to relate to as I am not a dog owner myself. With that in mind, I highly recommend this book for dog and animal lovers, especially those who have a special pup in their lives.

Mochi the half-cat pug loves nothing as much as food and sleeping. He is just so cute and loveable! These comics really did make me smile.

Review: A relatable story created with graphic illustrations that every pet parent can relate to. Chapter topics range from sleeping habits to food preferences to family (and friend) interactions. Mochi is a sassy pug with opinions on everything.
Note: I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher via NetGalley. My review is my own.

Thanks to Netgalley for this adorable ARC!
Did I mention this was adorable? Perfect for dog lovers, love the illustrations, just an all-around winner.

Graphic novels about pets, especially dogs, are always enjoyable. I especially liked the chapter on "boundaries". Most of this book is in black and white while toward the end it's in color. I think it would've been cuter with the whole book being in color.
Cute, relatable, fun read for anyone who loves their furbabies.

This was a cute and relatable collection of comics about Mochi the pug. As a dog mom, I can relate to a lot of these and had a good chuckle at Mochi's antics. I enjoyed how much of Mochi's personality came across each time he appeared on the page. Because this is a collection of short comics, there wasn't much of a storyline and some of the themes did get a bit repetitive. I think this would more enjoyable to flip through this in small pockets of time than to read it all at once.

An adorable little book about life with a precocious little pup. I found it very relatable as a dog owner and had several moments where I exclaimed "my dog does that!". I would recommend this to all dog lovers of all ages

Another book of comics about the life of a pet owner, and honestly I'll never get tired of these books. This is the story of Gemma and her pug Mochi. There are some coloured pages (which I liked more) but the majority is black and white. The art style isn't my favourite, but the story and comics themselves of Mochi, who prefers his mom Gemma over her dad and his adorable personality, made it an enjoyable and breezy, fun read.
I thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel publishing for the digital ARC.

Living With Mochi is a very refreshing take on the day-to-day style of graphic novels. Each part is clearly defined but still ties in well with the others, and the little stories themselves are told quite well through the illustrations.
The art is adorable and easy to interpret. I love Mochi’s sass and personality that’s heavily expressed throughout the novel. There were many stories or ideas I hadn’t seen expressed in other graphic novels. It is nice to read something different and unexpected.
