This is adorable. Mochi is such a fun comic to follow and he seems like such a good boy. It's so fun to see so many comics about him all in one collection.

These comics are funny, sweet, and full of heart. I recommend this for every dog lover out there.

Rating: 4/5 stars.

“Living With Mochi” is an adorable collection of comics featuring the author’s pet dog and their friends. I thoroughly enjoyed the mixture of graphics presented, from funny and comical plights, to heart-felt and emotional stories. I only wish that it touched on some more universal themes, as some of the jokes and anecdotes were hard to relate to as I am not a dog owner myself. With that in mind, I highly recommend this book for dog and animal lovers, especially those who have a special pup in their lives.

Mochi the half-cat pug loves nothing as much as food and sleeping. He is just so cute and loveable! These comics really did make me smile.

Review: A relatable story created with graphic illustrations that every pet parent can relate to. Chapter topics range from sleeping habits to food preferences to family (and friend) interactions. Mochi is a sassy pug with opinions on everything.

Note: I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher via NetGalley. My review is my own.

Graphic novels about pets, especially dogs, are always enjoyable. I especially liked the chapter on "boundaries". Most of this book is in black and white while toward the end it's in color. I think it would've been cuter with the whole book being in color.
Cute, relatable, fun read for anyone who loves their furbabies.

This was a cute and relatable collection of comics about Mochi the pug. As a dog mom, I can relate to a lot of these and had a good chuckle at Mochi's antics. I enjoyed how much of Mochi's personality came across each time he appeared on the page. Because this is a collection of short comics, there wasn't much of a storyline and some of the themes did get a bit repetitive. I think this would more enjoyable to flip through this in small pockets of time than to read it all at once.

An adorable little book about life with a precocious little pup. I found it very relatable as a dog owner and had several moments where I exclaimed "my dog does that!". I would recommend this to all dog lovers of all ages

Another book of comics about the life of a pet owner, and honestly I'll never get tired of these books. This is the story of Gemma and her pug Mochi. There are some coloured pages (which I liked more) but the majority is black and white. The art style isn't my favourite, but the story and comics themselves of Mochi, who prefers his mom Gemma over her dad and his adorable personality, made it an enjoyable and breezy, fun read.

I thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel publishing for the digital ARC.

Living With Mochi is a very refreshing take on the day-to-day style of graphic novels. Each part is clearly defined but still ties in well with the others, and the little stories themselves are told quite well through the illustrations.

The art is adorable and easy to interpret. I love Mochi’s sass and personality that’s heavily expressed throughout the novel. There were many stories or ideas I hadn’t seen expressed in other graphic novels. It is nice to read something different and unexpected.

This was so dang adorable! My dog and I could relate to so many things! There were various moments that I caught myself smiling like a lunatic and a few even got a surprised chuckle out of me. The art style is simple and clean. I would have loved it even more if everything had been in full color. Overall, this passed the time quite nicely and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves dogs.

Thank you to Netgalley for an e-ARC copy of this book.

I am a fan of the comic so, of course, I had to read the book! I had a horrible day and picked this up as it was bound to bring a smile to my face. And it did. I loved reading Mochi being adorable along with the humans and relaxing with the book. It's also a quick read but yet you could set it down and come back to it if you wanted to as well. It's a must-buy for those who love pugs and/or dogs in general.

WOW! This is just like it was written about my life with my own dogs.
This is a collection of web comics. The graphics were cute! Some were in black and white while others were colorful. I liked how she mixed the b&w and color throughout. It is about her life with her dog. As I mentioned previously, I could relate to most of the comics. I laughed so much. I loved how the dog is a character too. You could actually see what he was thinking as well.
I will be recommending this book for a long time. If you want a cute, quick, and funny book- this is the book for you.

This was too stinking cute! It didn't help with my sadness of not being able to have a dog right now but I am happy to have been able to meet Mochi!

Publisher's blurb: The comics chronicle Mochi’s life from puppyhood to adulthood, featuring Mochi's unrequited dog friendships, his jealousy of his two dog-brothers, and his love of food. Readers and dog parents will love this humorous tale of a sincerely loyal friendship between one grumpy pug and his adoring owner.

Absolutely adorable! Makes me want to go out and buy a pug just so I can name him Mochi. You don't have to be a dog lover to relate to Gene's life with Mochi, all fur parents can relate to how they take over our lives and we wouldn't have it any other way.
I really enjoyed this and even laughed out loud at some of Mochi's antics and even recognized my cats in a few.
Recommend, especially for these days where smiles can be hard to find.

Thanks to Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for allowing me to take a look at this graphic novel!

It’s a cute story, especially if you are an animal lover but I feel that it could have been improved if the author introduced like who’s who in the story. Besides that we know she adopted Mochi to become a part of the family (not everyone agrees and that’s ok too!) and how it is rewarding to have a dog around the house to keep ya company (again not everyone has the same mindset). That was the only thing I liked about the novel. The art is simple enough and it does show to be a feel good story but it just didn’t match to my personal expectations. I’ll give it 3 out of 5...

I have followed Gemma on Instagram for a while and always love her comic style posts about her adorable Pug Mochi.
This book encapsulates everything that makes her Instagram so fun to read. Mochi is drawn in the most adorable way, and every little story details the super special bond between a dog and its owner.
Maybe I am biased as a fellow Pug owner, but i always find her stories so relatable and pure.
If you are looking for a great book to flip through to warm your heart this is the book for you.
