I am not particularly well-versed in the world of recording and music, especially country music, but the novel's premise was intriguing and I wanted to give this a go. I was not disappointed.

The story starts off with Hannah Banks, who has big career aspirations, signing on with a new agency in the hopes of performing her own music. The owner of the new label, Will Sutherland is super hot and super into Hannah, but they have to keep things quiet because of business. Except a villain exposes them and they have to decide how they are going to proceed.

This is a wonderfully sexy read that felt authentic to me inasmuch as I know anything about the music industry. I was really rooting for Hannah and Will - it's great when two LIs are so well-suited to each other that you are sucked into their relationship right away. I always hesitate when it comes to anything that smacks of rivalry between women (especially an evil ex) but in this case, it was the perfect complication for this novel, moving the story along. A quick, fun, and steamy read.

I received and ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved this Jules Barnett book. This book had the drama, the romance that I was looking for. The Desire line is one of my favorite category.

Full of spark and sizzle, Jules Bennett’s Twin Games in Music City is an intense and dramatic emotional rollercoaster Desire readers are going to love!

Will Sutherland is the owner of country singer Hannah Banks’ new label – and he is smoking hot. Will looks like he has just walked out of one of her most sizzling romantic fantasies. He is trouble with a capital T and Hannah plans to steer clear of him. She cannot afford any distractions or anything that will deter her from her chosen path, so she decides to put some distance between the two of them by posing as her quieter twin. Hannah thinks that this is the perfect way to keep temptation at bay. But Hannah hadn’t counted on just how irresistible Will could be…

Will Sutherland is not the kind of man who plays games. He knows what he wants – and he stops at nothing until he gets it and he has his sights firmly set on Hannah. Will is determined to have the real Hannah both in his studio and in his bed. But even though the passion between them is palpable and irresistible, it must stay hidden behind closed doors – until a dangerous rival reveals their steamy secret!

Hannah and Will cannot imagine a future without one another, but they find themselves forced to make an impossible choice: either find the courage to admit the truth about how they really feel about one another or else risk losing the love of a lifetime.

An enjoyable romantic page-turner sprinkled with heat and heart, Jules Bennet’s Twin Games in Music City is an engaging and entertaining tale with a wonderful heroine, a gorgeous hero who will make readers swoon and plenty of passion, emotion and intensity to keep readers eagerly turning the pages.

A red-hot contemporary romance, Jules Bennett’s Twin Games in Music City is a delight from start to finish!

Country singer Hannah Banks has switched labels. She wants more independence, a chance to play her own music, and to grow. The last thing she needs is to fall in love. But Will is hot, serious, and all she can think about.

Will Sutherland owns a music label and he just landed a hot new singer. He is all business until he sees her and she makes him feel all of the things... :) It's not long until they end up sleeping together, and falling for each other.

It's a lovely love story, but it left me wishing for more.

Twin Games in Music City is set among the bustling world of Nashville's finest country musicians, where two record labels in the haven of Beaumont Bay compete for the best artists. Country star Hannah Banks has recently moved labels, hoping that her new deal will allow her more freedom with her image and the kind of music she records. Unfortunately for Hannah, she falls hard and fast for the label owner, Will. The feeling is mutual, but Hannah and Will getting involved with each other could mean the death of both Hannah's career and Will's reputation.

The "twin" in the title is Hallie, Hannah's sister & manager, who, despite a bit of twin-swapping at the start, thankfully doesn't feature in the actual romance (that's a genre even I won't go near). This is sweet. There are sex scenes, but they're not very explicit and there's no mention of any appendages. It's a fast read, no shocking surprises, perfect if you need to clear your head for an hour or two. I think if you enjoy those insta-romance movies Netflix promotes at Christmas, you might like this.

I did feel like the parts about Hannah's music kind of dropped off, I felt that was somewhat unresolved, but this is a series so maybe that will be mentioned in a future installment. The ending was also rushed, but that's also not unusual for a book like this. My patience for anything involving straight white men is on the floor at the moment, so Will didn't really interest me at all but I liked the Nashville setting, I liked Hannah & Hollie, and I probably would read something else written by this author if I needed something light to escape into.

Thank you to the publisher for having me on the Blog Tour!

I loved Hannan and Will, and their chemistry was so believable.

For some reason, I love the idea of a twin swap, so I was all in for the premise of this book (even though they are found out fairly quickly) and add in the fact that I really enjoy the author, and I was excited about this one.

I wasn't disappointed. The chemistry with Will is amazing, I believed in it, and the outside drama also seemed realistic to me. Maybe a little over the top, but not enough that I found myself unwilling to believe in the events and the resolution.

I enjoyed and recommend this title, and I am looking forward to the next one in the series.

I started this book intending to spend just a few minutes getting to know the characters and was immediately captivated by their explosive chemistry. Needless to say, I finished the book in one sitting and my family had leftovers for dinner-sorry, not sorry.

Hannah Banks is a successful and very talented country singer who is taking a big gamble in leaving her record label and signing with Elite Records. What she doesn’t count on is gambling with her heart when she has an instant attraction to her new producer Will Sutherland. I am not usually one for boss/employee romances but Hannah’s immediate desire for Will and her own success and power she carries as a talented singer completely leveled the playing field and put me at ease. I loved how sassy and smart Hannah was and the way that she disarmed Will over and over again. Twin Games in Music City is a fun and glamourous story set in the elite world of country music singers.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read and review this title. All opinions and mistakes are my own.

I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.

I was interested in the description of this book and it's been awhile since I've read a Harlequin category romance so this seemed like a good one to fit in! The book started out fairly strong for me - I thought Hannah and Will's chemistry and the build up of the tension between them was done really well. Once they got together it felt like it fizzled a little - their relationship just felt under-developed to me. But Hannah was such a sweet character, and Will was the ideal brooding, serious hero, that I really liked reading their story. . The ending just felt a bit rushed for me compared to the build up. I'm not sure if it's just because there is going to be more details in the next books in the series but I found myself disappointed in the results of the Mag situation. There wasn't any confrontation and I thought there should have been more of a blow dealt to her. There were some definite pros and cons to this book but overall I enjoyed it!

Hannah has grown weary of having no input or control when it comes to her singing career with her existing record label, so she has sought new representation with Will and his company. From their first meeting the chemistry ignites and although she knows getting personally involved could be detrimental to both their careers that is easier said than done.

Will is attracted to his new client in a way that is both unwanted and undeniable. Although she may look like her twin the way he feels around her is very different and he is one of the few people that can tell them apart. When their secret relationship is about to be revealed both he and Hannah have a choice to make.

The chemistry between them is intense but it is the way they put the other first that makes them so perfect for each other.

If you like rocker romances, I'd suggest taking a walk on the country side of the music biz with Twin Games in Music City. This first in the Dynasties: Beaumont Bay series is also a twin story - so kind of a mistaken identity - and a bit of a secret romance. I like that the story gives a behind the scenes view of the music business - it's fiction, of course, but I still enjoy the look behind the curtain, so to speak. I also like our romantic couple. True to form for the genre, Will and Hannah have things to overcome to get to their HEA, but that's to be expected. The whole story is fun and engaging, and I'll be looking forward to meeting the rest of the characters in this promising series.
