A lot of different key word searches would bring you to this title, but none of them would prepare you for the story that follows. Set in an era that will see the end of the human race unless some drastic measures are taken, Martyn Rhys Vaughan plays on that emotional card and gives us a MC who is a member of a tribe living and trying to survive horrific weather swings. Unable to predict what the next day will bring, these people must live each day as their last. The story and characters are excellent. The emotions Rhys Vaughan stirs up will leave the reader with many questions. This was an excellent book that should be read by everyone.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. Did not finish, twice. To me, this was very confusing with switching from one story line to another, with nothing seeminly in common. Gave it a try but not worth the effort.

A fantastic new sci-fi book with great characters and amazing world building. Fast enough paced to keep the reader engaged, and to be honest i would love to read more of this sort of story.
Thank you Netgalley for the arc.
