Men are frogs by Saranna DeWylde
A reasonable fun read. A modern take on tradional fairytales with the odd twist thrown in. A fun lighthearted read.

I am in love with this whole series!!

The sassy fun characters kept me coming back for more as I was reading it, and the fun ways that fairytales were put throughout the stories.

This was a fun one as our dear hero was, quite literally, a frog. I loved getting to know these characters better, new and old. And seeing some familiar faces is always fun.

Cute sequel to the first ever after story- still makes me want to visit! The godmothers are great and I love that magic is thriving in the village. Same great characters and fun!

A great fairytale series for adults! This series brings in all of the fairytale characters you remember from growing up and turns them on their heads into adult characters you will love! Men are Frogs focuses on Zuri and Phillip Charming as they struggle though weddings and frog-life on their way to true love. When the Fairy Godmothers of Ever After meddle you can bet to be in for a wild ride.

This book had a lot of potential to be a sweet, fun, modern day take on some fairytales. I enjoyed the premise of the Fairy Godmothers running a wedding planning business in the town of Ever After. I love the idea of fairytale characters living in a town with magic in the middle of the real world. I didn't, however, care for the main love story in this one. It was meant to be a retelling of the princess and the frog, which in itself is a silly tale. I thought the dialogue was clunky and very simple. It didn't feel at all realistic and there was simply no chemistry between any of the characters. I was not a fan of the fairy godmothers cursing and the sexual content was a bit too much for me in this kind of story. It didn't seem to fit at all. Overall I gave it 2 stars. It was an ok read, but I won't continue in the series and wouldn't recommend it to others.

I was hoping that this would be a fun and sweet fairytale. However, I really could not connect with the characters! The many humorous scenes really weren’t funny. Still, I recommend this for fans of fairytales!

An enjoyable and entertaining story with a twist on traditional fairytales. I have not read book one in this series and I may circle back to it if I ever get my growing TBR list under control 😉

And we’re back but this time we’re taking it a bit steamy in our enchanted fairy time. Think wedding disasters to the truest extent while you’re laughing your way through. If you loved the first you’ll love the second for this series.

I really enjoyed this book, just as much as the first one! It's a fun twist on the classic fairytales and I'll definitely continue to read this series.

This book was not as good as the first one but I still enjoyed it. This is a fun series that takes a unique spin on your favorite tales. I'll definitely keep reading this series.

There is something about fairy tales that many gravitate towards. There will always be following of people who appreciate creative stories like this one. It missed the mark for me a bit, as I would liked a bit more exposition of the universe it's in. I felt like it just jumped into the story so quickly. It was entertaining and a quick read.

I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Ever since I devoured Fairy Godmothers, Inc., I was honestly really intrigued with what was going to happen next in their little sequel. Well, have no fear because I got this one as an ARC as well and it did not disappoint folks. Or maybe I'm just a little bias because I absolutely love retellings.

When you give all your heart into love and then love is like "Nah, bro - not for me" that definitely feels like it would hurt. So when we get to meet the main characters and see what their lives are like.. well, it's pretty obvious who was hurt in the love situation.

Prince Charming is cursed by Petunia, a Fairy Godmother, and is currently living the life of a frog. But not really. Think of the movie 'The Princess Swan' or maybe even of Princess Fiona in Shrek. The reason why is because he's not a frog full time. Nope, he's only a frog during the day and then he becomes a human prince at night.

Then there's Zuri, a wedding planner who basically has zero faith in love at the moment. Now these two were pretty funny and their chemistry took me a while to see. I think it's because I kept thinking back to other movies, characters, or books that I could help relate to the characters or the storyline. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed everything about Men Are Frogs.. it just took me a while.

In the end, it was very cute and I definitely need more from these pesky fairy godmothers! I just feel like they have more up their sleeves.

I absolutely adored Fairy Godmother's Inc., so of course, I was very excited when I got approved to read and review Men are Frogs. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It was just as cute as the first one. That characters are so loveable, from original characters like the quirky, meddling Godmothers, to the new characters of Zuri, Zeva and even Hunter. The atmosphere is literally magical. I find myself wishing that Ever After, MO was a real place that I could visit. All in all, I really enjoyed this story, and I can not wait to read the third book!

As a huge fan of all things Disney, I was quite intrigued when I came across the Fairy Godmother's Inc. and its sequel, Men Are Frogs, and what can I say, the books didn't disappoint one bit! A heartwarming and hilariously adorable story of the ins and outs of the world of magic, I found completely enraptured and engrossed in the read. Highly recommended!

This is the second book in the series. If you want to read something that will make you smile and laugh this is the book. The FG are at it again and plenty of magic occurs. She found out she was the other woman ironically she was the wedding planner for her boyfriends wedding to his fiancée. He's prince charming but cursed due to a past mistake. I want to read the evil queens book and hope its next.

I didn't enjoy the first book in this series, but I still had hopes of liking the sequel. Unfortunately it didn't take me long to realise that I would also end up not liking this book. The dialogue was extremely stilted, and at times it was nearly impossible to make out distinct voices for every character. The final nail in the coffin was the complete personality transplant the godmothers underwent between the first and second book. They went from sweet and loveable to cursing like sailors. Quite a rude awakening.
