So much sweetness and cuteness!!!! This is a worthy second book for Fairy Godmother, Inc! I think, maybe, it might even be cuter than the first book (though I still really love Lucky and Ransom). It is just that Philip and Zuri are the most perfect for each other and I had such fun reading this story of them meeting and falling for each other and working on breaking Philip's frog curse while planning a wedding (not theirs) which has its own issues (stupid Alec! He gets what he deserves).

I really want to live in that castle too! She takes such good care of the people living there. While this book mostly focuses on Philip and Zuri, there are also several others, like Ravenna, Zeva (Zuri's twin sister), Hunter, and Hans that you get to know which leaves little things open for a continuation of the story. I can't wait to read those too. And the next one with Juniper!

No dark fairy tales here, just lots of sugar (a requirement for fairy godmothers to do their meddling properly!) and cute happily ever afters!

This one was very different than what I expected but I still enjoyed it! I love a romance and this one was funny and witty. I definitely recommend if you are looking for something a bit different than usual

Thank you you to NetGalley for the e-ARC of this book.

Cute second installment of this series. Zuri, a wedding planner who was recently in a less than ideal relationship, moves to Ever After, Missouri to work at Fairy Godmothers Inc. Zuri quickly falls for Phillip Charming, frog by day, castle B & B owner by night.

Many side characters round out the cast of this cute, but touching rom com.

I'll definitely continue on with the series.

I'm officially obsessed with Saranna DeWylde's Fairy Godmother, Inc. series. I loved this sequel just as much as the first book and devoured it in one sitting. This book has everything I want in a romance – steamy chemistry, fantastic characters, and laugh-out-loud dialogue,

Disgraced wedding planner Zuri is getting a bit desperate for a job. No one wants to hire a wedding planner who unknowingly was having an affair with the would-be groom. She thinks it's almost too good to be true when Fairy Godmother, Inc. offers her a job in Ever After, Missouri. Her trust in romance is shattered by the time she arrives and meets the owner of Ever After's B&B, Prince Charming himself.

Phillip Charming has been stuck as a Frog every day for nearly 300 years and has given up on finding true love's kiss. Still. he can't keep away from Zuri, but she's still being pursued by her ex and isn't ready to trust that Charming is as promising as he seems.

I adore Ever After, Missouri, and DeWylde's twist on these classic fairytales. I am so excited we have a third book coming in December 2021. I would be thrilled if she writes stories for basically every character we've been introduced to. I am here for all of them.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for providing me a copy of an e-arc. Men Are Frogs lands July 27, Trust me when I say you do not want to miss this one.

A fun fairy tale romance with a curse, fairy godmothers, everything wedding-themed and likable characters set in an almost too perfect story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Somehow, this book is even better than the first!! While Fairy Godmother's, Inc focused more on the meddling fairy godmothers (and who could complain about that) this book is much more focused on the love and believing in yourself. Zuri and Phillip have such a beautiful incarnation of love, and watching them work through the obstacles with the unconditional support of their friends and family was just sooooooo perfect. Not gonna lie, I was def tearing up at the end 😫😫😫.

This book is a perfect blend of witticisms, modern slang, and really beautiful advice. Half my copy is just filled with my fav quotes from "It's not about finding someone who is perfect, it's about finding who is perfect for you" from the dream twin and :I want to be terrifying. I want to be the destroyer from the deep. The end of all things. The darkness at the end!" from our favorite evil queen, every part of this story was a delight!

Also I love how woke this book is! From the girl boss Jenn criticizing the patriarchy of blaming women in the beginning to the very healthy talk about birth control and STD and other safe sex measures, Saranna really wove a beautiful story!

It was by coincidence I discovered the first book in this standalone series and it’s because of my love for this charming town and all things magic that I consumed book 2 in a day!

Ever After is not your normal town and it makes my fairytale loving heart happy beyond belief! I love the way DeWylde mixes the most beloved child stories and brings them to light for my adult heart!

Phillip and Zuri’s story is a beautiful one and I love the promise of more and more stories to come especially after getting to know the town you want them all to have their HEA!

A must read for any adult who loves fairytales and still believes in magic!

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. Zuri is a disgraced wedding planner and finds herself drawn to Phillip Charming who is under a curse where he is a frog during the day. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. It was set in a world where there is magic and hints of fairytales and it was lovely. It’s so clever to use fairy tales in a modern setting and the story remains romantic and magical. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you.

I don’t know why, but I just couldn’t get into this book. I thought I’d like the fairytale story, but it was such an odd combination of a child-like fairytale and a sexy romance, that I just couldn’t get into it. Just not my cup of tea at all. It was a fast read with lots of back and forth dialogue, but I just didn’t enjoy the storyline.

For some reason I just couldn't really get into this book, possibly because I haven't read the others in the series. I wanted to like it, I think I'll go back and read the others in the series first and try this one again.

This book had me laughing from beginning to end and in my opinion was better than the first, the title draws you in and the plot keeps you hooked

After reading book one in this series, and loving it, I was excited to read this one. This story is about Phillip Charming, cursed my Petty to be a from during the day. And Zuri, who comes to Ever After looking to get away from a past mistake. When the two meet, in Phillips human form, they are instantly drawn to each other.
I really enjoyed this story. At times, I found I had a hard time getting into it, but overall I enjoyed it. The characters are all likable, and you hope for them to get their happily ever after. There were parts of this book that had me cracking up. It was a perfect re-imagining of fairy tales we all love. I definitely recommend it. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Happy Arbor Day! Go give a tree a hug! They do so much for us and they always look beautiful!
If you have time go out and read a book under a shady tree, if you are looking for a book to add to your TBR pile, read on for my review of Men are Frogs by Saranna DeWylde. This is the second book in her Fairy Godmothers, Inc. series. I received an ARC of the book from #NetGalley, all the opinions of the book are mine.

It was great to return to the whimsical, fairytale town of Ever After, Missouri, and see the Fairy Godmothers (FGs) find new ways to meddle in the lives of mortals!

Men Are Frogs has the level of humor and snark that I enjoyed in book one, and also some wonderful sweetness. Zuri, our heroine, is a wedding planner, but she doesn't believe a HEA is in her future. Phillip Charming has spent 300 years as a part-time frog. You would think it would just be a kiss and poof all fixed, but that's not how it goes. You don't get your HEA without putting in the work.

In the book we learn more about the magic world and also met Zuri's twin Zena who is delightful and will be in future books--perhaps alongside Hunter in what will be a wonderfully twisted tale of Beauty and the Beast. We also spend time with Ravenna the "Evil" Queen. I can't wait to read her HEA. Who is good enough for her?

I'm not going to lie, maybe it was because I was tired or maybe it was just this book, but I got misty-eyed when our love interests made their leaps and had faith. *Sigh* The book's themes of what it means to truly be sorry, to having self-worth in the face of doubt, and forgiveness were a pleasure to read.

Since it made me teary, I've got to give it 5 stars!

Zuri has kissed too many frogs. Most recently, she learned that the man she was dating was also the groom in the wedding she was planning. And she learned at the same time as everyone else, so her career was shattered. She has one more chance to be a wedding planner, working for Fairy Godmothers, Inc. in Ever After.

I loved this book even more than the first one. I enjoyed revisiting Ever After and seeing previous characters like Gwen, Rosebud, and the fairy godmothers. I especially loved the new relationship between Zuri and her twin, Zeva. That kind of love and support is fabulous.

And most of all, I loved the relationship between Zuri and Phillip. Watching them figure out what True Love looks like was wonderful. If you want a fun fairytale adaptation with some adult moments thrown in, I highly recommend this book.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advanced reader copy. All opinions are my own.

This was ADORABLE. There was nothing that wasn't cute or funny or clever or just plain smile-inducing! This was a retelling that works and was FUN.

The first book in this series had me hooked. I love a good fairy tale kind of book. You got some fairy godmothers and I’m there for the ride.

I believe in happy endings, I do. Even when things get dire, there’s the incurably optimistic part of me that trusts it’s all for the best. Call it wishful thinking, call it magical thinking, but I need to believe everything will be okay in the end. This might explain my love for romance novels: happy endings are almost always a guarantee, and what makes all the difference in the world is the journey to get there.

Since my mood did not really improve in the past week, I decided another romance novel was exactly what I needed to feel more hopeful. My choice was Men Are Frogs, by Saranna Dewyde, for which I got an ARC from NetGalley in exchange of my honest review.

Disgraced wedding planner Zuri Davis is so relieved to be offered a job with Fairy Godmothers, Inc., she’s willing to trade the high-rise excitement of Chicago for the small-town charm of Ever After. Falling for one of her grooms, even unintentionally, was enough destroy her career and also to prove that all men are indeed frogs. But when she meets gorgeous B&B owner Philip Charming, who definitely lives up to his name, even she is tempted to test that theory…
What attracted me about this novel? The title –I know, it’s so funny– and the cover. I mean, it is cute and girly! When I picked it up, I suspected I was going to have a nice time reading it. And I did. Ever After is a peculiar, magical place where a lot of characters from our most beloved fairytales live. It’s fun, pretty and so charming that I wish I could go there on vacation at least once in my life. Kudos to the author for creating such a beautiful setting.

The characters are adorable, as perfect and good as I’d expect them to be in a fairytale. The fairy godmothers and their obsession with sugar (hey, I can totally relate!) made me chuckle every time, and I love how misunderstood Ravenna is. The romance is also very cute. I could sense from the very beginning that Zuri and Philip Charming were meant to be. So much that I also knew they’d overcome whatever obstacle life would throw at them. This ruined my fun a bit, because I wasn’t able to immerse myself in the story despite the stakes being very high.

Why? I would have loved to believe Ravenna was a real threat. That Alec could make Zuri question everything at least for a little bit. That the curse could really ruin Philip forever. But Zury and Philip were just too perfect for each other, and everyone was so confident they would have their happy ending that I had to believe it too.

It is not a con per se. This book is a fun, sweet read and it works as it is and not everything needs to be packed with drama all the time, but I have to admit that I didn’t pine and root for the main characters as much as I would have liked. For this reason, my rating is 3.5/5 stars.

Interesting read that had me laughing from page one. Because I mean how many times have we thought that man are frogs.

What a delightful, humorous adult fairy tale. Love this series.
Zuri, a wedding planner, got caught up in a disastrous wedding and ruined her career. The only place willing to give her a chance with a job was in Ever After with the Fairy Godmothers Inc. Zuri was not prepared for the magic of the town, or for her encounter with Phillip Charming. But she soon discovers that magic is all around and if she just follows her heart, her happily ever after is waiting for her.
Love the characters, the godmothers as always make me laugh. Great, light series. Looking forward to the next adventure.

Zuri, a wedding planner, comes to work with the Fairy Godmothers following a disaster at a wedding she had organised. There she meets Philip Charming, who owns the castle which is used as a B&B.
I did enjoy this book by a new to me author, a lighthearted take on fairy tales. With many of the favourite characters from such stories, with an evil queen to counterbalance the fairy Godmothers, a Prince cursed to be a frog by day and a man turned into a beast. There are a few spicy moments in the book if that isn't your thing. A very pleasant way of spending a few hours hiding from the world and having a chuckle.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.
