I've read a few books by this author and enjoyed them. This was no exception. It's a solid mystery with a minor romance angle. I love that it's set in Salem. If you're a fan of cozy paranormal mysteries, this is a good one to check out.

This series is first rate, with great characters, a paranormal theme and intriguing whodunit.
It just gets better and better with each book. I could not put this latest offering down, a great story with a whodunit that kept me guessing.
I strongly recommend you read this series in order and I cannot wait to read the next one.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Love the cover of this book, as I like to visit Salem, and I know just where this is. It is also a very important scene and location to the book. Just wanted to say that!

Lee is up to it again, literally finding a person who doesn’t know who she is or how she got that. So of course she needs to investigate and offers her all kinds of help, including a place to stay. She of course is also balancing her new promotion at the tv station. And, you bet there is a murder investigation as well.

Lee is in top form, balancing all of these challenges. The story has tons of fun, and twists and turns. Lots of fun little details and side stories. If you’ve liked the other books, you might love this one. The only problem is something spoiler-worthy happens at the end which makes me wonder if this is the last in the series, or if it continues of things will change a lot.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of SEE SOMETHING (Book 11 of the Witch City Mysteries) by Carol J. Perry in exchange for an honest review. The nepotism rampant at Salem’s WICH-TV has done it to Lee Barrett once again. In order to make room for his nephew as an on-camera reporter, the owner “promoted” Lee to program director. In addition to running and maintaining the current television shows, Lee has been asked to create an entirely new children’s program. However, even though Lee isn’t reporting for the station, she still finds herself in the middle of a criminal investigation. When Lee notices a young woman sitting alone in the park and sees her still there at dusk, Lee stops by to see if she needs help. The woman is lost and is suffering from amnesia, so Lee takes “Jane Doe” home to Aunt Ibby and calls her detective boyfriend Pete Mondello. Law enforcement soon connects Jane Doe to a recent homicide. Is Jane victim or villain? Lee will have to use her wits, her aunt, her cadre senior researchers, her smartypants cat, and her psychic gifts to find the truth.

I liked this book, and I enjoy the series. I recommend this book to fans of cozy mysteries featuring murder, amnesia, animals, television, real estate fraud, and stalking.

What a really exciting cozy. This might be the best in series. Everything about this series rocks. If you're looking for a new book/series, this one has it all. A strong, interesting main character, Lee, with an exciting career and unusual physic abilities, her family/friends, the special cat, come together to render murder, mystery, stalking, touch of romance, and more. Really good read.

You know you’re in for a good story when you pick up a Witch City Mystery! There’s suspense, intrigue and paranormal in every book. But there are also red herrings, wonderful dialogue, and characters that feel like old friends. When Lee happens upon a Jane Doe with Amnesia, after a recent murder, she begins to have visions placing her smack dab in the middle of another investigation. Twists and turns ensue.

I just love this cozy little series. I've grown attached to the characters and they're so vivid that I almost feel as though I know them in real life. This story though, just didn't do it for me. I can't put my finger on exactly why. Perhaps it's how one dimensional Lee and Pete's relationship feels to me compared to where they're at together in the book? Maybe it was temporary amnesia plot line? I don't know. That said, I still enjoy the heck out of this series and always look forward to the next one.

Thank you Netgalley, for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.

I enjoyed this book. Its good to see all the usual characters back along with a host of new characters. It's a fast paced story that's fun and interesting with lots of tension. The climax where the bad guy is caught is the best. #SeeSomething #NetGalley

I have read several books by this author and have enjoyed them all immensely. Lee and company always provide a good mystery with a little romance and one of my favorite authors for cozy paranormal mysteries. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

Now that Lee has begun her new job as Program Director at WICH-TV, Pete and Lee both think she is out of harm's way since she's no longer chasing stories...and killers. Instead, Lee is focused on bringing a children's program from her youth back to life as well as updating a few of the other programs the station produces. While Lee may miss being in front of the camera a little bit, she's excited about the creative side of her new role, including more normal work hours, meaning she can walk to work when the weather cooperates.

On her way home from work, Lee notices a young woman who was in the park earlier in the day and approaches her. The Jane Doe seems to have lost her memory so she takes the woman home and calls Pete. It seems Jane may be connected to a recent murder in town and may even be the Chief's prime suspect, though the visions Lee has tells her otherwise, right?. Just when they thought it was safe, Lee finds herself in the middle of yet another investigation and in the line killer's line of sight. As the killer plays cat and mouse with Lee, she just hopes that she doesn't end up being bait for the killer's next mouse.

I have long loved this series and I hope that this is not the end of the road for this series as there is so much more that I want to explore in Salem with Lee, Aunt Ibby, Pete and the others. Right out of the gate, the author engages you and keeps your attention as the protagonist sleuths and lives her life. It is truly a magical series filled with some history and nostalgia, especially for those from, or familiar with, the area.

This is one of my favorite series and I'm always happy to catch with the characters and travel to Salem.
This is fast paced, action packed and gripping story, highly entertaining and with some elements in common with a thriller.
There's a lot of suspense and you can feel Lee's emotions as she deals with a stalker and tries to solve the mystery.
It's a tightly knitted story that kept me on the edge till the end and I read it as fast as I could.
there are some big changes in the life of the characters and I love how the author develops them making them evolve and change.
I can't wait to read another story in this series, this one is strongly recommended.
Many thanks to Kensington Books and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This is another entertaining mystery in the Witch City series. Lee, a reporter for the local station, finds herself in the midst of a mystery after she offers assistance to a woman who has lost her memory. Before long, Lee finds herself being terrorized by a murderer. Pete, her detective boyfriend, pulls out all the stops to both solve the crime and keep Lee safe.

This one kept me guessing up until the very end, however, for me the real charm of the story was how the characters have continued to grow and change. I loved how Lee has thrown herself fully into her new duties, even as her relationship with Pete continues to deepen and grow.

Fans of the genre will love this book. Put it at the top of your TBR list. While it is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, its so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

See Something is another great addition to this cozy mystery series.
Set in Salem, Massachusetts, we begin by finding Lee adjusting to her new position at WICH-TV, as Program Director. Lee may miss being part of the action of the investigative team, but that doesn’t stop her from becoming involved in another murder investigation.
Aunt Ibby and the “angels” are excited to help Lee, even if Pete frowns upon their investigative interference.

I really enjoyed this book, but I especially liked seeing the growth of all the characters. It’s always exciting when I watch some of my favorite characters step into the next phase of their lives.

Another solid entry in the Witch City mystery series. Lee and Pete are up to their necks in a new, intriguing mystery while also adjusting to some changes in their personal lives. One of the things I really like about this series is that Perry allows the characters to grow and move through their lives instead of keeping everything the same and just overlaying the mystery onto a pre-determined story. In this entry, we see Lee moving on with her career, Aunt Ibby & the “Angels” making progress on their detective work, and Pete making the biggest move of all.

This isn’t “great literature” by any means but it is well-written and FUN. I hope Carol Perry keeps ‘em coming!
